    A copy of the letter being sent to this stores manager…read more. I am writing to you today to share my experience of your Tires Plus location. On Saturday, February 8, 2025, I brought my car into your Tires Plus because I had slid into a curb that morning which caused my tires to have a hum and to make more noise when veering right. Something was wrong and I was fairly certain I had messed up my bearing. I also needed new tires and asked to have them installed. I explained this to Levi at your Tires Plus and my car was immediately taken into the garage without it being test driven. After an hour, Levi informed me that the new tire installation had taken care of the humming issues and there was nothing wrong with the bearings. I was skeptical but knew that my old tires were in pretty bad shape, so it was plausible. My car was taken from the garage and immediately parked. After driving my car for 5 minutes, I returned to your Tires Plus as the issue was very obviously not fixed. I asked Levi to take my car for a test drive and you get the car up to 40mph, he could not miss the issue. He returned after driving my car for a total of 3 minutes (from ignition on to ignition off). He told me that the humming I was hearing was just the new tires and the issue with turning slightly right was because of a bit of snow packed on the tire. I left again. I returned a 3rd time because there was a very obvious issue that he missed because he failed to actually test drive the car like I asked. At this point, it was later in the day and nobody was around to look at my car. I made an appointment for my FOURTH visit for 7am on Tuesday, February 11. 2025. When I arrived at 7:05am, I was told there would not be anyone to look at my car until at least 7:30am. For my appointment, I requested that someone take a test drive with me so I would be sure that the problem was noticed. Finally, at 8am, the female at the front counter (with tattoos and whom I'll call "Mary" even thought it is not her name) informed me that the tech, whom I've never had an interaction with, did not feel comfortable going on a test drive with me. Unbelievable. Mary said that he would take the car and test it. I specifically told her to have the tech get up to at least 40mph. The tech drove my car for 4 minutes (from ignition on to off) and brought my car into the garage. After 20 minutes, Mary started going over an inspection checklist talking about washer fluid. She then says that there is a "little bit of play" in the wheel bearing and would I like to schedule an appointment to get that installed. I asked her if the tech was sure that it was the problem, because I was told previously by Levi that it was NOT a problem, or was he just guessing because he had not taken the car for a test drive like I asked. She didn't know and I told her that I'm going to take my car somewhere else. I was then told that the vehicle inspection was $10. I refused to pay $10 for an " inspection" I did not ask for. This was an issue from a previous visit. After 15 minutes, they gave me my key. I immediately went to the Tires Plus on 42 in Burnsville. I explained the issues and the Master Technician took my car for a real test drive and into the shop. He came out and explained exactly how the bearing casing was bent, how it was causing the noises that I was hearing, and that my rim was also very slightly bent. In a roundabout way, without putting down another store, he made it clear that the issue was very obvious and should not have been missed. This is the service expected from a Tires Plus store. The part was ordered and my car was fixed in less time at the Savage store than I spent over 4 visits at yours. My experience at your Tires Plus did not meet even the very basics of service that the average person would and should expect. Having to make 4 trips to your store and still not having the issue addressed or even adequately looked into. Failure to inspect the rim, which was bent, during the installation of new tires, after stating that I had hit a curb and was having issues. Failure to inspect and notice a bent wheel bearing casing after specifically mentioning that it may be the reason for the issues. Tire pressures after leaving the store after a new tire installation were not acceptable (38, 37, 37, 34). Gaslighting as to the reason for the humming and noise when turning, saying it was snow packed in the tread. Attempting to charge me for a service that I had not requested and refusing to give me my keys for 15 minutes. Not providing me a receipt or estimate for services performed. Telling me that someone who had never met me was not comfortable driving in a car with me.

As recommended, have a contract for road hazard on the tires. Just last week had another a road hazard. Prefer the Apple Valley location, pass by there all the time. Yes, visit many South Metro Tires Plus shops... Thank you all are doing their best! Visited in past Lakeville, Eagan, East and West Burnsville, Savage, Richfield as well as Apple Valley, my favorite. As a satisfied customer will keep coming back for the service, quality and values... These shops seem busier nowadays, for sure. ...more and more people keeping their cars. Expect a wait. Expect you may need to leave your car over night. Be patient even to fix a tire. Yes! To fix a tire, in many locations busy. We find a way no matter what to wait. As it turned out my last stop in hope, found a great counter guy named "Anthony" who said, "just wait. We'll take care of you!" Be prepared to wait for the best.     After coming here for years to get oil changes on many different vehicles, my family has decided to…read morestop affiliating with this business as we continue to get ripped off unless someone challenges their final prices. Once it was for my sister getting her brakes replaced where they quoted her a MUCH higher amount than they did to my father for the same vehicle, and another time was today while trying to get a sensor reading on another one of our cars. We have come to find out that employees here have sexist attitudes and behaviors which is incredibly disappointing to see. The only reason they get 2 stars and not 1 was because they changed my oil. Nothing else. Today, my car got an oil change here and had a tire pressure sensor read. I had credit for a free oil change, and Darin quoted on the phone that the sensor reading would be $50. Awesome. So I show up to pick up the car, they say it's going to be $76 something dollars. They told me the 25 other dollars were "fees". I politely asked what the 25 dollars of "fees" entails as that's not what I was originally quoted, and he said "environmental disposal fees". Why is there an environmental disposal fee for sensor reading? I expressed my frustration saying I was quoted something else, and they only fixed the price to what they told me at the beginning AFTER my father came inside and challenged them on it. And then suddenly it was all a-ok again, and Darin said "no harm, no foul". There was, though, as I would've been charged $25 in "fees" that I was not made aware of if I wouldn't have brought my dad inside to help me. They told my father and I that the $25 "fee" is on every single diagnostic check (they just conveniently didn't mention it when they originally quoted me $50), basically admitting they rip people off every single time. They also quoted me 175 dollars for a single TPMS sensor, what a joke! That is substantially more money than Discount Tire, which is where I will be going from now on for this type of thing. We will not be coming back any longer. It's clear they take advantage of people not knowing that other prices are available at other car repair shops. My father loved bringing our cars here as it was close to our house but after today he said he is no longer interested in business with them, same goes for my sister and I. They reached out to me yesterday, a week after I posted the complaint, saying they called me and left a voicemail, which they did not do. Don't go here!

They openly communicate through every service experience and always go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy, satisfied, and understanding of the service performed. I especially love how they also treat my car with great respect and care. They do a fabulous job at not getting the interior dirty or greasy, which is hard when you're working under those conditions that are not the cleanest. I really really like this element. Quality: If at any point your unsatisfied or quality is not up to par they will bend over backwards to make it right. They pride themselves on quality across the board and it shows - from their craftsmanship, to employed team members, to service. The quality speaks volumes here. Value: They are ethically priced and will not do what it takes to ensure the customer spends more OR gets ripped off. They treat every customer with respect - male and female - and often times will proves additional incentives or discounts if the work order is high to ensure you get some money off. I love how they also offer a free oil change incentive after you get 5. It's a nice little perk and makes me feel great when I reach the free oil change. Small Biz Values: I appreciate their faith-based approach to how they operate their business. I'm a faith-driven person and respect companies who are able to operate to their personal standards, values, and moral compass. I like seeing the cards in the front office from local kids and satisfied customers expressing their thanks and gratitude. I love the music they play in the front office as well - very calming, encouraging and faith-driven. The last thing I love is the on-site rides they offer to customers who are getting work performed. It's so handy being able to be dropped off or picked up free of charge by them and shows they are valuing my time as well. This is a great automotive company that supports our local communities and does such a great job of lifting up the values of other small businesses around them. Ian did it eventually checked only the tires coolant and lights but it took several requests. If you own this place you should check your audio and video the conversations taking place here today were HIGHLY inappropriate by who I believe to be is the manager wearing a beanie on his head who whipped out to go grab a monster energy drink in his small vehicle while they failed to do ANYTHING else the other locations do. I feel like I need to take our car to another location JUST TO CHECK THE WORK THAT WAS "done" today. Absolutely terrible service as these people just collect a paycheck and don't care. I can't believe a car next me to paid $200+ here today and didn't even get his lights checked at the very least! Lol go to any other location this place should be shut down.
