FINALLY, we received the last piece of the kitchen remodel puzzle! 4.5 month project that I was…read moretold would take approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Lol. At first we thought this company was awesome, than once we received the order we found that the corner cabinet wasn't put together properly and the trim for over the cabinets were missing. Called Reico and was told we would have to wait for another 6 to 8 weeks for them to be able to get another one out to us, along with the trim (they forgot to put on the initial order) First thought, if they know it takes that long, someone should be doing some sort of inspection before they send out to a customer. Where is the quality control? Mind you, we can't use water in our kitchen till the back splash is installed, which can't be installed till the corner cabinet is installed. 6.5 weeks go by and yeah, corner cabinet is received BUT no trim! Asked the Driver about the missing piece and was told there was no order for a piece of trim on his paperwork. So another phone call and low and behold, someone broke it before it left the warehouse. So guess what, another 6 weeks before we could receive that piece. 6 weeks come and go and finally we got a phone call that it would be delivered by Friday, no surprise we got a Text on Saturday apologizing for the delay, apparently it was delivered to the wrong address!!! Bottom line, I love my new kitchen, my husband did an awesome job, but I could never recommend Reico to anyone in the future. Any company that doesn't take the time to assure the best quality before it leaves the building does not deserve to be in business. And their idea of customer service is to tell you to basically suck it up. The other major issue I have with this company is that they want you to pay in full BEFORE you receive and have the opportunity to inspect. I guess they figure with their track record of quality control they would always be waiting for a final payment. The good news is, while waiting all this time for the cabinets, I got my house painted, wahoo!!

That being said we had so many issues with the cabinets that were delivered. About 30% of what we ordered was messed up. Dings, scratches and gashes in a large amount of them. We even had some issues with the replacement pieces we were sent being scratched or wrong item entirely. We are happy with our end result and the staff have been easy to work with, but I can not recommend them if you are trying to keep to any kind of schedule. Over all the price was good. Quality of cabinets were split. Green Forest Cabinets were good and we are pleased with them, but the more expensive Merillatt cabinets are really bad (do not get these!)

All showcase quality IMO. Thus, we've plenty of recent experience with KBS outfit and feel confident in making the highest recommendation. In summary - KBS is not too big nor too small, not too expensive but not cheap, so they were just right for us - average homeowners who seek the very best value. In this regard, KBS was just right. Some highlights........ 1) The crew is experienced and cohesive. They've been together for a good long time. They work well together and we never observed inefficiency. They just work hard all day long. 2) I never had to worry about workers in our home. Honest, polite, professional, kind, and responsive are words I'd use to describe them. 3) Communications were timely and valuable. My advice is to take notes of every communication for reference. In one case we forgot it was our responsibility to acquire an appliance. Uh oh, it was our fault and a written record would have been useful to refer to. Yikes! 4) The budget estimates were honored. there was no bait and switch. Prices were transparent to us. 5) We enjoyed reviewing recommended selections of cabinets, floor, hardware, appliances, sinks etc. Today, we feel somewhat knowledgeable with KBS as our tutors. 6) Cleanup and construction debris was timely. Thanks! 7) The crew was OK with our two dogs. I think our doggies missed them when the jobs were done. Final note: The sign of a great contractor is NOT that nothing goes wrong. Rather it is how the contractor responds when something does go wrong. In this regard, KBS took care of problems I was not even aware of, and when I was, they swarmed to make it right ASAP. For example, a quartz kitchen countertop cracked. Surprised. The piece was faulty. The crack was not due to poor installation. We only had to make one call to Dan who took care of it. Easy peasy. No hassles or haggles about responsibility or cost. Perfect. I've a few more impressive examples. So the more work we observed, the more confident we became in KBS. In my life "trust" is earned and hard to achieve in the contracting world. So, it is with pleasure to say KBS was trusted. We'd hire them again whenever we have a future need. Simply excellent!

This was a big project and from the moment we met with Dan, we knew we wanted to work with him. He helped us redesign our first floor (including kitchen and bathroom), meeting with us multiple times to come up with a design that worked for our needs. He helped us figure out what materials and design elements worked for our home, really going above and beyond to help us make a lot of decisions. His experience meant that he was able to take our vision of what we wanted our home to be and turn it into reality. The actual project itself could not have gone better. The crew was phenomenal. Their attention to detail and quality of work was exquisite. We did not run into a single issue for this entire project and the final result massively exceeded our expectations. AND it finished ahead of schedule! We HIGHLY recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio. Dan and his crew were wonderful to work with and the quality of their work is exceptional.

In July/August, we experienced a ceiling leak that caused significant damage throughout our home, impacting two bathrooms, the playroom, entryway hallway, and laundry room. After water mitigation and demolition were completed, we were left needing extensive repairs and full remodels of the affected areas. This was our first time dealing with a major home issue, and navigating insurance, contractors, and conflicting opinions felt overwhelming and stressful. I spoke with several contractors and received multiple estimates, but Alan stood out immediately. He was the first to respond and the first to give clear, straightforward, and honest answers. Beyond that, Alan is genuinely such a fun and easygoing person to work with, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. He has a great eye for design and prioritizes top-notch materials while still being realistic and respectful of budget. He guided us through the design process, helped with material selection, and made thoughtful recommendations every step of the way. Marlon and Emmanuel are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. They treated our home with care and always took the time to explain what they were doing, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Fast forward to today, we finally have our home back -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not having functional bathrooms and access to certain rooms for months took a toll on our family and our mental health. Click Construction stepped in during a very difficult time and helped restore not just our home, but our peace of mind. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I've attached before-and-after photos so you can see the incredible transformation for yourself. I highly recommend Click Construction to anyone looking for quality work, honesty, and a team that truly cares.

They somehow turned what is typically a very stressful process into a smooth and collaborative one. We interviewed nine contractors before choosing Talon for a full gut renovation of our home. Talon stood out immediately as the most professional and detail-oriented team we met. We first connected with Darren in 2023, and his depth of knowledge was apparent from the beginning. He pointed out practical design considerations and code requirements that other contractors had missed. We went back and forth on the scope for over a year, and he was consistently patient, responsive, and generous with his time. He never rushed us and always made himself available to answer questions. We started construction in August 2025-- The construction crew had an excellent work ethic. They arrived early and worked hard - something even our neighbors commented on. They took pride in their work and paid close attention to details. The workmanship was just excellent. The work site was consistently clean and organized. They did a great job at handling unexpected situations and communicating that to me. Eddie took the time to explain everything thoroughly before moving forward. Even when we made scope changes, they were flexible and incorporated those changes without making it feel stressful or complicated. And probably the thing that impressed me the most was that they ran the whole project with integrity. They uncovered an improperly vented dryer which was a fire hazard and promptly brought it up to code. There were other moments like this throughout the project- too many to fully capture here - that consistently reinforced how much they value doing things the right way. I have to mention Eddie who was incredible throughout the entire process. He was calm, responsive and communicated clearly. He seriously made the entire project enjoyable. They were fair and transparent when it came to pricing and change orders. But more than anything, what I appreciated the most was their integrity, professionalism and genuinely caring about doing a good job. Everyone- Ed, Paul, Darren, Eddie and the construction crew were top notch. We honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend Talon and would definitely work with them again!

As mom and dad always stressed, I always get at least three estimates/bids. The visit and estimates - I contacted all three flooring companies within a two-day period, mid-last-week. All got back within one or two days, but Melvin actually responded and came out same day. All three had good service on the estimate, offering suggestions here and there and so although I gave the edge to Melvin I was waiting on prices. Early the next week I received the three estimates and two were within $200 of each other, the third was $2,200 higher with no difference in materials or anything else on the detailed estimate. All three did a great job of detailing the work to be done and that made it easy to choose... to choose Melvin. The job - Melvin started the work last Friday, with two of his two-man teams working all day. Saturday and Monday one team worked all day. Tuesday and today they finished up. One team includes his brother, Milton, who did some fine craftsmanship work (see pics). Every day, the floor specialists were very special, great attitudes, polite, protected everywhere with plastic, moved my furniture gently, etc. They were perfect, it's not easy to get a skilled craftsman who also cares about the customer and customer service with a great, personable attitude. The job included four rooms and stairs: 1. Replace 26-year old vinyl floor in kitchen with faux-marble luxury vinyl. 2. Refinish oak hardwood in living room, family room, hallway and pine stairs - one coat of stain and two coats of oil-based polyurethane (Melvin explained during the estimate that although oil-based requires drying overnight/longer time, my 72-year-old hardwood floors deserve/need oil-based because water-based in not as gentle on brittle wood). Paint the stair risers white. The results - the clean-up was meticulously done and they refused to accept payment until after I assured them everything was perfect. Best part of it was I could tell they really cared about making me happy. See the pics. The darkish color on the stairs is just a photo/lighting anomaly as is the red color on the floors in the family room. THANK YOU, Melvin, for running such an amazing small flooring business. I will be calling when we get to the bedroom floor refinishing. Thanks to everyone on your teams for a job really well done!
