I worked for Motorola as a Sr Quality Engineer for 17 years & recently moved on. In the…read moreQuality field, I wore many hats as I played many roles which included statistical analysis, writing training materials & technical manuals, process improvement, coordinating global teams & presenting to all levels of management. I already had multiple years of experience with front end tools to perform & communicate these functions. As I researched current positions related to my field, I saw a new trend emerging within the leading edge corporations who were seeking skilled technical help with a communications portfolio in Adobe Creative Suite tools, especially Photoshop, Dreamweaver & In Design. I researched all local schools who offered Adobe Web Design / Graphic Arts classes to choose an education program best suited for my next career step. I quickly eliminated the local Jr Colleges as the necessary Web Development enhancement to my career path, because their curriculum to achieve this goal took two to two & one half years along with the distraction of many other unnecessary classes. This is my 3rd time through school to upgrade my skill set. Meanwhile, I analyzed that Computer Training Source (CTS) would provide a comparable computer training education in one year. I am now in my ninth month at CTS and I am not disappointed with my choice. As an adult student, who knew virtually nothing concerning Adobe Creative Suite, Web Design & Electronic Graphic Arts & who is graphically challenged, I wake up excited to attend CTS classes and then in my commute home, I am amazed how much I learned in class that day as I know it will advance me to my career purpose and goal. I love CTS's accelerated Web Design education strategy as I am taking multiple classes in parallel to each other. This offers me the advantage of seeing & understanding how all the Creative Suite Tools work & fit together. I prefer this approach to the Jr College computer training path which moves the student sequentially through the CS tools semester after semester. In addition, CTS offers free retakes on all their classes which reinforces & solidifies the CS tools & techniques & concepts in my memory. Besides, the 2nd time around, I have a better instinct of what questions to ask to fill in the gaps in my thinking. The CTS instructors are passionate, dedicated and knowledgeable; who have many years of experience working in their specific fields of expertise. The teachers help fuel my interest to grow in my motivation to understand and build professional websites. When I need special attention, the staff are cooperative & flexible to work with me as they assist me to move forward in my career education path. I am absolutely satisfied that I chose CTS above all other Computer Training education options available to me. I hope to see you sitting beside me in a CTS class in the near future.

Accuracy is key, because to misquote someone or get a fact wrong damages the reputation of the publication. I quickly found that I could rely on Paula Kamen and her team for speedy delivery and accuracy every time. Since moving to a new position as director of editorial services for an international accounting and financial services firm, I have recommended Transcription Pros to several of my colleagues in the firm's marketing department. Everyone is pleased with the work, whether it's transcription of a quick interview with one expert, or a more complicated project such as a Webinar or roundtable discussion with multiple voices on complex financial topics. Highly recommend!

Overall it worked, you get results and you don't have to go broke doing it. You wont find a better class. I really appreciated how he broke down difficult topics and used real life examples to help support and instill the knowledge. I was extremely nervous coming into this course and then onto the actual exam, but John was superb at preparing us for what to expect and what is needed from a studying standpoint to pass the exam. And he was even there rooting for us after the course and giving me the nudge I needed to get signed up for the exam :) The materials PMA provided to supplement the in-session training were also extremely helpful. I felt I had everything I needed and more for my studying. Overall, I would highly recommend PMA and would encourage anyone interested to go out of their way to make sure they get John Dokos as their instructor. I don't know that I would have understood some of the more challenging topics if I had a different instructor. Thank you John and PMA for the superb experience!

The structure of the course made a huge difference in how I approached studying, and John D did an excellent job breaking down complex concepts in a way that actually stuck. The biggest value for me was the practice exams and informal quizzes. They were key in helping me recognize patterns, build confidence, and feel fully prepared going into the exam. By the time test day came around, I felt ready. I also really appreciated the cohort experience. Being part of a group that was equally committed and supportive made the process more motivating and a lot less overwhelming. Highly recommend Project Management Academy--and especially John D--if you're serious about passing your PMP. -- Dawn G.
