She's an experienced nurse and doesn't hesitate to share the good and bad side to mold us in this career. She teaches so much more than the text book and thats what makes her so unique. She also teaches us in a way that makes it easy to understand the material. I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice

Their holistic approach equips you with the know how as well enabling you with the professional compasion to provide exemplary patient care. Their program gave me the credentials needed to land a great job at a physical rehabilitation hospital even though I lacked clinical experience. The program also gave me a complete foundation to build toward an RN-BSN. I would highly recommend the program at Career Training Center of Chicago. It's afforadble - with flexible payment options. It's a concise, concentrated program that will get you quickly into the medical field. It's in depth, high quality, and comprehensive which will put you a cut above other CNAs. And it provides a great foundation to build from if you wish to pursue nursing or other allied health fields. They easily earn 5 stars.

The Aquarius Institute has been in business since 1996. Starting off in Chicago, Aquarius Institute began providing career training for job skills to individuals to meet the requirements of the ever changing technology related jobs. After a few years, Aquarius Institute moved into the City of Des Plaines in the year 2001. At the address of 911 East Touhy Avenue, Des Plaines, Aquarius Institute continued its business at this location until the year 2011. (Copies of the City of Des Plaines Business licenses from year 2001 to 2011 are enclosed for review.) Aquarius Institute at first started its business in providing Computer Information Systems training. Among Computer Information Systems training, we also provided training in the latest high demand software and hardware. We continued to provide I.T. training up until the year 2005. Aquarius Institute realized less job potential for the local individuals due to outsourcing of I.T. jobs to foreign countries (such as India, China, etc.) Therefore, in the year of 2005, Aquarius Institute took a tangent and started to provide more service related skills training in the Allied Medical Health Care field. The gentleman in charge, Paul, is a very nice man and can help you put together a plan over the course of several months that will add some very helpful certifications/knowledge areas to your resume. He's also a great instructor. I had him for SQL, and he was awesome. Some of the instructors are absolutely fantastic. They have both the subject knowledge in addition to real life experience. Some other instructors...not so great. I was unfortunate enough to have a particular instructor for 2 classes. He was horrible. His English was really bad. For example, the word "glove" was written on his slide as "glows"...and he totally believed that was the correct word. He also taught the class from the perspective that we were all on the level of recent college grads, and knew nothing. He'd tell us how to dress for work, and show us videos on how you have to behave in an office. Looking around, I'd guess the average age of the class was around 45. If these people don't know how to dress or behave in an office, perhaps there's a good reason why they are unemployed. I, however, do know all of these things and don't need to have my time wasted with it. Another down side is that the class schedules do tend to fluctuate, probably to accommodate students and teachers alike. For most unemployed people it's not a big deal, but I am a caretaker and work part-time, so it was very hard for me to rearrange schedules at the last minute. Sometimes I simply could not attend class due to last minute changes.
