To the right is their bar area with more tables and booths on the left side. 4 stars alone based on having the best homefries in the area. Served hot with great flavor plus great chocolate milk. The Italian scramble subbed hot sausage was large and excellent. Greens were good. Veggie omelet was also large and very good. Worth a ride for breakfast or lunch. Prices were reasonable.

Struggled with rating and review and want to try again during the week or on Saturday rather than on a Sunday. We placed our order and most of our party ordered sandwiches rather than a breakfast entree only to find out 40 minutes after our order was taken the chef was no longer going to offer lunch on Sundays. This should have been indicated by wait staff at a minimum and not 40 minutes after our order was taken. Menu that was given did not indicate that breakfast was only option on a Sunday. Additionally, they were out of several of the breakfast items so now our choices were limited. Had we known sooner we could have left and gone to several other restaurants for lunch. To top it off they ran out of creamer and we were given a carton from kitchen of half and half only to have wait staff grab container. Additionally, silverware that was wrapped in napkin was dirty and there was an added secret ingredient of a long strand of dark hair on syrup dispenser mind you none of us have long dark hair. I ordered an omelette which was OK and nothing special with home fries that had so much pepper I could not eat it. The toast was good but did not go there for bread. Just very disappointed after all the glowing comments on facebook

We are quite familiar with the area and had friends up the road we visited for years but had never been to the diner. Right on Route 12 at the flashing light is Woodgate center and the diner is on the corner. Was very busy when we arrived about 11am. Warm and welcoming with an old woodsy cabin feel and a fireplace roaring that we were able to sit close to. Greeted right away and despite the number of cars a table for two and a few seats were open at the counter. We sat at the table. When we received our menus I was surprised at the reasonably priced breakfast items especially since eggs were high due to a not long past bird Flu. We ordered and in a reasonable time as the crowd seems to be leaving we got our food. I went with a breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon, cheddar Cheese, and egg which came on a light fluffy homemade soft roll. The home fries were perfectly cooked as I had added onions and they were carmelized with some crispy to the potatoes. Note many places toss raw onion in which is a big no for me so I was very happy. My dining partner had an omelette with toast and corned beef hash. Corned beef hash was nice and crispy in the outside and omelette was very filling. With a soda and a chocolate milk we were stuffed. Staff was very efficient and friendly. We noticed on the menu they serve dinners and apparently are well known for their prime rib so we will have to return.

We actually enjoyed our breakfast. We had the SunRise Sampler. I was able to switch out the hash browns for the HomeFries. Presentation was good. Both our eggs were made precisely to order. The home fries were tender and taste good. They could've used a bit of onions and peppers to boost the flavor a bit, but we enjoyed them anyway. We had wheat toast with our meal. We liked that they served nice hearty slices of wheat bread. The accompanying breakfast meats were cooked well. The Cinnamon Warm Apples were a nice touch, but they were disappointing upon taste. They were probably canned and could've been sweeter and more of a cinnamon taste. I do understand some people can't have added sugar so as a quick fix - I added some table sugar for sweetness. The apples also could use some added cinnamon or even better- Apple Pie Spice. (Hint-Hint). Service was timely and servers were very friendly and pleasant. I definitely would return to Raspberries for breakfast and lunch in the near future to try their other meals.

The ceiling tiles were out of place and each wall was a different color. No one greeted us at the door for a few minutes. Once finally sat, the lady asked us the general questions. There was no " hi how are you ". She seemed like she just hated everything about her job. Once we got our order taken, we were able to give a look around. Floors were disgusting and tables sticky. The food was undercooked and had no taste whatsoever. The music blasting from the kitchen was very distracting. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt since it was a mom and pop location...we will not be back.

Well, today's the day. I looked on Google to see what time they opened. It said they open at 8:30 on Tuesdays. That's wrong, they open at 7:30 like every other day. So, we totally could have went there earlier but 8:30 was still great for us. This venue is absolutely cute! I love all the tables for outside dining in the front. It was a little muggy out this morning so we opted to sit inside. Walking inside, I love how charming this place is! I can tell this used to be a bar in it's previous life. The way they remodeled it to change it to what it is now is just beautiful! I love the breakfast bar area. I really wanted to sit there but my daughter wanted a booth. Adeline greeted us with her beautiful smile after we sat. She got drinks started while we looked over the menu. The menu is quite broad and they have a little of everything. For breakfast I ordered the rise and shine. Your traditional breakfast of eggs, toast, home fries and toast. My daughter got the crab cakes and eggs. While we waited for breakfast, we enjoyed coffee and orange juice. The coffee wasn't the hottest but it was still good with the vanilla creamer. Breakfast came out on huge plates. Everything looked so good, especially the home fries. I'm a sucker for potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and runny in the middle, the toast was buttery, the home fries had a nice light char on them and soft in the middle. I did get a side of sausage gravy for my home fries but it didn't tickle my fancy, The potatoes were good without it. I did get to try some of my daughter's crab cake. It was very tasty! I initially was going to get the crab cakes but I got a couple bites of my daughter's so win win on having a little of everything. I also got a ham breakfast melt to go for my husband. It was so good I went back and ordered another one for my sons. Both sammys were demolished. I think it's a must go come to the Pancake House while you're visiting Slyvan Beach. The venue is darling. The staff is super sweet. And they push out good food! You can't get any better than that. I look forward to eating here the next time we are visiting.

Next I want to let you know to arrive exceptionally hungry. Portions are insanely huge and I don't know anyone who could possibly eat as much as they bring out. The Dutch Babies were a rare treat, the pancakes gigantic and hearty, and the three-egg omelet was massive. No one at our table was able to finish everything, and we hadn't even had dinner the night before. Service was great in spite of the busyness of the place and our coffee was refilled every time our cups were nearly empty. A great place to try when you're in the Buffalo area.
