After a long drive from Canton, Ohio I found this location adjacent to Crocker Park. This area and the people shopping reminded me of an area in Orange County, California that I use to live in. Great Shopping, well dressed shoppers and exclusive findings. Well, that's what I experienced when I walked in Eye Candy and my mouth started drooling as the merchandise was sweet. Now the store isn't that spacious, but trust me you will instantly see glasses that you have never seen. To start I was warmly welcomed by two well dressed ladies, both wearing amazing glasses that just made their aesthetic pop. Then I saw whom I believed was a physician leaving with awesome glasses that gave character and pizzazz. I scoped out the pair of Cartier glasses that had my interest but decided to purchase a pair of Erker frames. Finally , I have another pair of frames for one of my outfits but, this time a pair that truly fits my face and pupillary distance. Thank you so much Francine for your human kindness and your professionalism. Now, here's what made this establishment exceptional. After being measured, I walked out with my single vision frames completed in approximately 15 minutes. I've never had that happen to me and in today's environment most optical location have eliminated their lab. So, if you want temptation, go here. If you want service, go here. After…read moreshopping at both Lenscrafter and Pearle Vision and not finding frames that I really liked and that were in the price range I was looking for, I decided to give Park a try. The experience is much different, with the large chains, they have you go around the shop and pick out frames and then they kind of help guide you through your choices. Park takes a different approach where they sit you down and bring you frames that fit what you are looking for. While the chains have really nice displays, Park has a huge selection and they do a fantastic job of helping you. I had picked out a set of frames that I liked, but when I went back the next day with my prescription, they suggested some other frames and I found a pair that were even better and were a bit less expensive. The other thing that really impressed me was once I had frames selected they were very good about explaining the lenses options and the pricing. Rather then trying to upsell me to more expensive options, they helped me pick out just what I wanted. I have gone back three times now in the last year and each time it is "obviously my fault":. The first time I went back, I was wearing them wrong down on my nose. The second time I went back, I was wearing them with faulty posture. The third time I went back I was given a new eye exam and told that I needed prism readers. The third time cost $105 for the exam. I am the guy who is wearing the glasses and I know what the problem is with this prescription. It's simply faulty and has been from the get-go. So much for carriage trade opticians. I'm definitely going back to the Cleveland Clinic for my eye exam.

Since I moved to the area, I have been looking for just this kind of eyewear boutique to give individualized attention to make the process of getting glasses more enjoyable. I do not mind paying for excellent customer service and quality of product. The Susan Ross,O.D. was excellent and patient and didn't make me feel nervous/bad at not being able to read the lines. I've had experiences where I have been afraid to speak. Johnny Michnay made frame selection a FUN venture and helped to make me feel confident about the final choice. It is rare where a sales person is able to draw out your particular tastes to make you feel good about the selection as opposed to someone pushing frames on you to get "something" or that you're trying the sales person's patience. The frames I chose were being sent from their PA store, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get the desired frames and lenses and picked them up in less than a week. Johnny custom altered the frames as needed to comfortably fit me. Quite frankly, it's the first time I've ever felt like the frames were a part of me and not an annoying accessory. Overall, the whole experience was like shopping with a friend and an expert as opposed to shopping from a store that was trying to take my $ and sell me the highest price item. I would gladly go back again when the time comes. And as long as I'm in the area, they will have me as a customer.

The staff was extremely nice and I actually enjoyed that the practice had some updated equipment that I hadn't seen. They have a vast variety of glasses frames on display, so you shouldn't have a problem finding something you like. They do offer a nice selection of Oakley frames if you want to be fancy. Prescription sunglasses are available as well. Their website is great! You can check your account statements and prescriptions, and schedule appointments too. You can also order your contacts through the website and it lists all the prices so you can comparison shop if you wish. You can setup email and text appointment reminders which I find very helpful.
