They have EVERYTHING! I bought some resin in Walmart but they only had like one mold so I thought I was going to have to order it. Went to Michael's the next day and found so many molds - and exactly what I was looking for. I also found everything you need to make candles, which will definitely be my next project! I was at Michael's around 12pm today, and while I was checking out there was this young man working and he was quite rude. He looked like he absolutely despised working there, he didn't even ask me how I was doing or offered any help. Is this the type of person you would want promoting your business? It just disappointed me to see how horrible the Gen-Z is towards Gen-X. read more

DO NOT GO HERE TO FRAME ANYTHING!!! I went to the store to frame a couple of pictures on a Saturday during the day. Went to the framing department, pushed their little call button, and waited. After a long wait a young employee came and asked if I was picking up. I said no ordering, come to find out they did not have anyone from the framing department working that day. I drove from Warrenton to do this and ended up having to drive to O'fallon to actually get it done. I then decided I would order a frame online instead so I could pick it up and do it myself. I go there on a Monday at 6:30pm and you guessed it, no one from the framing department is there. No button to push this time, so I walked to the front of the store, and asked for help. The manager walked back there with me but said that the framing department is unstaffed again. I asked to just pick up my frame then, well, she couldn't find it. I asked for the district manger. She said his name was Michael (yeah who could have guessed), and said I had to call the customer service line to get to him. I called that number and someone who couldn't even spell my name (sounded like from overseas), tried to figure out what I was saying, and then said that I had to call a different number for framing. After some back and forth I was told I would get a call from the District Manger. Needless to say, I have no frame. I have already paid for it. And I have heard nothing. read more

This store has hired racist management. One store manager by the name is Terrie, totally ignored me when I was standing in line and she was working the register (when working the register aren't you supposed to be aware of customers standing in line). She immediately offered to help the lady behind me. When I called the store she said "sorry, I didn't see you." When I asked to speak with another manager the other manager by the name of Candy, said "she apologized and said she didn't see you." And that was my resolution. (Neither one asked my name). If she was truly sorry, she would have apologized to me when I was in the store, but no, she continued to ignore me. I would not recommend shopping at this store. read more

I was shopping in this store and the manager is probably the rudest and most idiotic person I've ever met as a customer anywhere. She has zero social skills and tormented me as I think she wanted me to hit her. I was shopping and it was a little before 5pm. A friend of mine came to join me and she came right up on me. Like very closely uncomfortable like, and just stood there. Saying absolutely nothing. Just standing were if you stretched your arm it would touch the person. It was uncomfortable and I asked her what can I help you with and she began to speak one worded answers and patronizing me. Example: I said "what's up? Is there a problem?" And she says... "I don't know, is there?" I say... "uh okay... what are you doing?" She says... "I don't know, what are you doing?" I say "I'm shopping" (this girl is still so close to me) she says... "weird" and at this point I'm like I don't know what to do. My hands are full and she could have offered me a cart. Then she says something about they are closed. I said I wasn't aware that Michael's closed at 5pm. She said "weird" again. Then walked away when I told her to leave me alone and what in the hell is she doing. Then a young man comes up and just stands in the isle looking at me. I said what is the problem here? He hardly said anything but he said she wasn't wanting work that snow day. I was like "uhh sorry" I told him what happened. He didn't even work there. Come to find out, that kid was her bf. But I don't know what he was supposed to do. I didn't know what to do at this point. I wanted to buy all the stuff I was holding but I felt very uncomfortable. I got to the front and they just stared at me. I said... "I don't know what your problem is and you need some serious training lady." She comes right up to me... in my bubble and stands there. I mean if I did something wrong then say so. Call the police or something. This person was harassing me. I felt so bad and I was at the registers and she says we close at 5pm. I said... "like don't you make a announcement or something so everyone knows when they walk in the store?..." she said... "We don't do that here" uhhh okay you. I couldn't take it any more and I dropped everything in my arms and left. It wasn't even 5pm by the time I got to my house. This person should be fired. I'd be happy to take her job, for her judgment and rude awkward management skills are below satisfactory. If that guy is her by, he probably wants to off himself daily. This Karen's cousin Sharon. Which is just a horrible. I have a friend who described the same kind of encounter with this same manager. I wasn't surprised but it's getting around Wentzville that this person is not right in the head and should be replaced. I can't more explain how awful this lady is. Let me know if you have had the same issues. I'm adamantly going to review until there's no where else to review about this entire situation and this was a very bad experience. Just over a mile from my house I end up visiting this location quite a bit, especially around the holidays. It is always organized and clean. I know the store pretty well, but still sometimes have problems finding stuff. The staff is so friendly and always willing to help. Also- They have great coupons. You can get a good deal just by downloading the app and using coupons! read more

I called the store ahead of time because the Joann near me doesn't carry this item, otherwise I would've bought it there, and the Michael's near me were out of the item I was looking for and I wanted to make sure this store location had it before making a 30+ min drive out of my way and waisting my time. First when I called the store I was hung up on, and had to call them back. I asked them if they had the item and if they could put it on hold for me and to see if they take competitor coupons. The person who helped me said they accepted competitor coupons and that she would put the item on hold for me. I drive out there later that afternoon, the item isn't on hold and when I go to check out after getting the item myself (the person I talked to didn't even offer to get it for me and I have an injured ankle the reason I asked them to put it on hold for me so it would be ready at the front of the store) they tell me they don't take competitor coupons and haven't for apparently a year now. The person who was checking me out was rude, wasn't helpful at all, and wouldn't accept the coupon even though the person on the phone said they would. Don't shop here at this location! read more
