Great location and great Hobby Lobby I love when you walk in the doors there's tons of signs so you can see exactly what's on sale. As soon as you walk in there, there's a ton of displays before you get into the main building, which is also lovely The store is well organized. I only wish that they had such as other large department source so you could see where things are. I like that they are closed on Sunday to allow time for family and worship. I think that's very kind to do that for their employees. Hobby Lobby is the biggest craft and home store that I'm aware of in the area. I'm not a super crafter or decorator but I like to pop in and see what they have from time to time. This location is always clean, items are where they should be and I can typically find an employee for assistance when I need it. They change out their seasonal sections quickly and have a lot of unique selections for decorating and baking which I am interested in. My last few visits I was able to pick up some cool seasonal baking items. I was also shopping for a plain photo album that you load pictures directly into but selection was limited. It's mainly scrapbooks here. They run sales frequently and it's typically 1/2 off... so if I come in and an item I want it not on sale, I'll come back the next week or two and it will usually be on sale. I never pay full price here if I can avoid it. read more

Love Hobby Lobby! I stopped in for some early Christmas things and left with some great deals. You can't beat their ornament and garland selections. So many to choose from! Last year I started a small tree for the kitchen with only food related glass ornaments, and they have some great options here for that. They're usually on top of whatever season/holiday is coming up and has a great selection for whatever you'd want. Selection is decent, certain fabrics can be picked over though and it can be pretty expensive to get enough fabric for certain projects without sale/coupons. Have had so-so experiences with staff, as I was checking out the associate was talking about how she was supposed to be on a break and seemed very frustrated. Still not a bad store for craft supplies especially if you can get coupons, but staff (specifically check out staff) is definitely not the most friendly at times. read more

This the second time I've tried to get a frame project completed at this particular hobby lobby and both times the service was less than spectacular. I was made to wait for no particular reason and I got no feedback when I asked questions. it was more important to the employees to do other work like stocking, cleaning, and organizing instead of engaging customers. I really like this place, I have been in to buy decorations, wrapping paper, gift boxes and all kinds of things. They have some really great coupons as well. I don't go many places without a coupon, its kind of like leaving money on the table. I seriously get lost in Hobby Lobby because of the amount of art, decorations, art supplies, paper, scrap booking supplies, silk flowers and pretty much anything else you can think of. Hobby Lobby used to be my favorite hobby store. The canvas and paint are generally cheaper than anywhere else, but that's really where the perks end. The frames are way more expensive than other stores and the sales/coupons aren't really that great and can be incredibly misleading. Good luck trying to find help. Customer service is lacking and if I need help I usually spend a good 45 minutes just wandering around looking for someone on the floor who isn't setting up a display. Also, dear God, how often do you need to set up displays?! Counter service is great. I haven't seen anyone at the register with a frown on their face. The store is clean and there are a lot of cool (though insanely overpriced) nick-knacks. Eh, not the best. Not the worst. read more

When I walked around an associate hanging things in an isle, I had to move her cart, she didn't even make an effort to move it out of my way or say one word to me. Not even an "excuse me". We were at the store to pick up our farming job. We rang the bell 3 times and waited 10 minutes but no one came to help us. We looked into the back room and were scolded by a clerk named Larry. He rudely told us to wait and not go back there while he was with another customer. He finally came by, found our frame job and said he had to carry it to the check out, giving us the distinct impression we were thief risks. His customer service and manners were terrible. We will not be back and we will recommend the same to all of our colleagues. Apparently, Larry is the store manager. So much for hiring quality!!!!! read more

I LOVE the variety of craft items and seasonal decorations, but I am sure they have the highest percentage of rude employees of any store I have ever shopped in. Two girls moving Christmas clearance bumped into me three times. Never said excuse me or even acknowledged my existance. I would say nothing, but I experience rudeness or indifference on just about every visit. I would not come here if they did not have such an amazing inventory. read more

My wife and I could get lost in this place, we love it. It is hard to decide what we want the most. The employees the St. Peters location are the most helpful that we have ever dealt with. I walked around for 10 min trying to find someone to help me. I tryed to stop an employee but she didn't pay attention. That's fine Micheals is better anyways. Worst experience . I love Hobby Lobby. I just bought some bathroom decor, and it was all 50% off, which was a regular sale. I spent well under what I would have at a home improvement store, and for something nice. I love the christian music that is played, and that they are not concerned about money and give their employees Sundays off. read more

The best part of this store is the lighting. It's a hassle even getting to the store if you are coming from the east and don't even try during rush hour. The last visit my husband made was to purchase some additional frames that I had already bought at the new store on Hwy K earlier that week (SAME WEEK! ). The girl ringing them up didn't give the sale price. When my husband questioned her about it, she deferred to the militant manager on duty. Who never left her post at the front of the store and proceeded to lecture spouse about the sale price in a loud voice for every other customer to hear. I guess she was on a power trip, you know because being a manager on duty at Hobby Lobby can go to ones head. Thankfully I no longer have to go to this store, one much closer to home and one near job. read more
