I get completely lost at any michaels. :) I love their shelf of items outside the store. Loses a star for low checkout.

I love small businesses and all but this place is horrible! I ordered my husband a Father's Day/…read moreAnniversary gift here May 11th . I texted to see how things were going may 24th no answer. I went to the store on May 29th and it looked almost done . At this point I was excited to get it and give it to my husband. I went back to the store June 12th to see what was going on, since I didn't get a phone call or text on the status of the coin holder and it wasn't open . I was ok that's fine I'll come back, I went back to the store. Every day for a week in the store was never opened. Eventually, I found them on Facebook and added them sent them a message asking what was going on. I kept getting the runaround on when to pick up and when it was going to be ready every day was a new excuse on why they couldn't meet up or give me the coin holder . Eventually on Monday May23rd I received the product. It definitely looked like it was just got thrown together with no care in the world. When I first approach this company to make my husbands coin holder, I gave them a reference photo of what I wanted. The only thing that looks remotely like the photo I gave them is the shape everything else looks horrible .when I received the coin holder I could tell it just got burned or glue because it smelled really bad . Before meeting that day he said he already had it done a couple days prior to meeting up, so I was questioning why it would smell like he just now finished it. I'm not sure if he just didn't care about the project or what it was but I was very disappointed especially since this was supposed to be a Father's Day gift/anniversary gift. The communication with this company was absolutely horrible. It definitely was not worth $360. I was highly disappointed because I was looking forward to it and thought it was gonna look absolutely beautiful. I am highly disappointed the owner could tell I was disappointed, because he even said himself "Oh, you don't even like it." if I was him and I knew a client didn't like something I would feel bad and try to get a refund or make a new one. But no, he acted like he didn't care that. I didn't like the product at all, also at this point I was so over him . I just hope this review gifts another person a spotlight on how this company operates . The communication is horrible, The product is horrible, the quality is terrible.

The employee at the counter was super sweet as well. Thank you so much! We love our projects and had a great time!

I held my sons 7th birthday party at Paint-it Pottery a couple of weeks ago. The party went okay to…read moresay the least and the children had a good time. Unfortunately, that is not why I'm writing this review. We let the kids parents know that their children's projects were ready to be picked up when I was notified by Paint-it Pottery, expecting them to be able to pick up their children's projects that they were so excited to recieve. They were told, "No." Apparently in the contract that was haphazardly given to sign while trying to manage 10 six and seven year olds (fellow parents understand this struggle) it states that only the parent that organized the party can pick up all projects and distribute across the North Country. Multiple issues, one, as I'm an individual in the Army who is currently out of state, it poses an issue for me it pick them up 900 miles away. When this issue was addressed, it was simply stated, "we're all military here." I would expect that a statement of understanding. Instead, it was given as one of neglect. Second. They stated that I paid the money for this coordination to take place, and again, I would think this is more to the point that the individual children and parents should be able to pick up their projects. I paid hundreds of dollars for a service only for laziness to be shown in its stead. Third, it's summertime, it would be one thing if it was still the school year where all the children joined together on the daily. But now, we have to coordinate with 10 different families for their eager children to collect their projects. And lastly. I had parents who went in with their child to collect these projects and were told no. It's one thing to tell an adult that but to deny a child to their face of something that is probably a mere few feet away is pitiful. All in all, this establishment stuck to their guns in denying a simple task to children, saying it was their policy from the start. I would highly encourage this policy to be revised. Fair warning to other parents who are looking for a location to hold their children ls birthday parties.
