Brought my new suit to this place for a rush order, because I needed it for an event the afternoon…read moreof the next day. They told me the suit will be ready at 12, so I picked it up at 12 and hurried home to change, that was when I found out the suit is not finished. I contacted them, and they apologized and agreed to finish the suit. After I got the suit back the second time, I guess the suit is finished, but the quality is absolutely terrible, and they would not give me partial refund for not finishing the suit on time (which was the sole reason I paid 500 dollars for this, if I didn't need it the next day, I wouldn't pay that much for sure). This place cannot deliver their promise and the quality of service is not acceptable, especially for this crazy price.

I had an incredible experience with Peter Shonoda and Rosa at Alts for my red birthday party…read moredress! Peter is a true Master Tailor and Fitter with an incredible eye for structure, and Rosa--whose seamstress excellence brought everything to life--executed the alterations to perfection. Right from the start, Peter's vibe was so fun, warm, approachable, and understanding. It was a very easy, comfortable conversation, and he knew exactly what I was going for. In addition to a hem that was the exact length I wanted, they beautifully adjusted the boning and soft corset on my dress so it fit like a glove. Best of all, Peter suggested adding an internal waiststay--an elastic band inside that anchors the dress at the waist. That single recommendation, something I didn't even know I needed or hadn't even thought of before coming in, was a total game-changer. It allowed me to dance and move completely carefree all night without pulling up my dress once. I received non-stop compliments from both friends and strangers all evening. Thank you, Peter and Rosa, for helping to make me feel so celebrated and carefree throughout the night!

Time pressed against me like a weight--twenty minutes until the shutters would fall, twenty minutes…read morebefore another small corner of the world would surrender to evening's inexorable march. I carried with me a wound in fabric, a tear that had opened like an accusation across the shoulder of my jacket, mocking the day's careful preparations. But there are places in this city, tucked between the grand gestures of commerce and ambition, where miracles still unfold in ordinary rooms. Here, among the gentle hum of ancient machines and the patient whisper of thread through cloth, transformation happens not in hours but in moments--ten minutes to restore what seemed irreparably lost. The hands that worked were neither hurried nor hesitant. They moved with the certainty that comes only from years of small salvations, from countless mornings when pressed uniforms waited like promises kept. This was craft in its purest form: unadorned, essential, profound in its simplicity. Year after year, I have brought my uniforms here--those daily armors we don before facing the world's scrutiny. And year after year, they have been returned to me not merely cleaned but somehow renewed, carrying with them the integrity of work honestly done, fairly priced, neighborhood-proud. In an age of disposable everything, here stands a testament to the enduring: quality that needs no advertisement, service that speaks only through satisfied silence, and the quiet dignity of those who understand that mending is, perhaps, the most hopeful of all human acts.
