Of course, nothing is MSRP and there's a discount for cash definitely to dodge transaction fees and the IRS. I came during the winter and my glasses immediately fogged up when opening the door. Gaming Universe Corp is a fantastic, dedicated spot for tabletop and trading card game enthusiasts,…read moreconveniently located just outside Tangram mall. This shop truly caters to every kind of TCG player, carrying a full range of games from mainstream titles like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering to popular anime-based games like One Piece and Gundam. The store itself is on the smaller and narrower side, so it can feel a bit cramped when there are a few people at the counter, but it's packed with value. They sell cards and packs at straightforward MSRP prices and have a solid selection available in binders and display cases. What really sets it apart is the community space in the back, which has tables for opening packs or playing matches. They're also an official tournament venue, which adds to its credibility as a local hub for serious players and casual collectors alike. For anyone in the area looking for cards, packs, or just a place to play, Gaming Universe Corp is a reliable and welcoming destination.

This place sells all types of video games - there's a whole aisle of them, if not more. I saw old game boy colors, figurines (saw some from the final fantasy VII Remake!) , and even wireless guitars from guitar hero. This store helped buy off old Yu Gi oh cards for me, and bought most of my cards (all except the Unlimited edition ones, which they informed me didn't cost much) from me for 30-40% of the original price. I mentioned I was cleaning out some old toys that we had at home, and they mentioned that they could buy them off me if they were of some value. Overall, John was really helpful and patient in explaining in layman's terms the process buying and selling things whether online or in person, which I totally appreciate.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell this isn't some random hype-driven shop -- it's a real collector's spot. The display cases are loaded with Pokémon, sports cards, sealed product, and graded slabs that stare at you through the glass like, "You know you want me." Whether you're chasing modern heat, investing long-term, or just trying to relive your childhood one holo at a time, they've got something for you. The vibe is what really sets this place apart. The staff actually talks to you like a fellow collector, not just a transaction. They're patient with questions, transparent about pricing, and don't give off that gatekeeper energy you sometimes find in card shops. If you're new to the hobby, you won't feel intimidated. If you're experienced, you'll appreciate the knowledge. They'll celebrate your big pulls with you -- and respectfully mourn when your "guaranteed fire" box builds character instead. Pricing felt fair for the current market (which, let's be honest, can be a rollercoaster), and inventory seems to move often. Translation: you'll tell yourself you're "just stopping by to look" more than once. Flushing has plenty of great small businesses, and this one absolutely deserves the support. Just don't blame them when you leave smiling, holding a new slab... and checking your bank app on the way home.
