The shop moved in 2024 and is now 3 stores in one, featuring quilting, wool, and needlework. It's a lovely, colorful, creative space! The needlework focus is mostly cross stitch plus a small section of painted canvases upstairs. There are countless finished models on display, and the chart selection features many traditional, primitive and sampler designs. The shop offers a wide selection of thread lines and hand-dyed linens. The wool section is excellent and includes a good selection of small kits. There are many separate rooms and displays, and you can linger and enjoy them at your own pace. I was happy to purchase the Hobby House Landing sampler, which is an antique sampler adaptation.

She never expected to find a store with such great selection of wool felts and wool pieces. The store was huge and very sewing craft focused, with embroidery, quilting, and wool felting materials. It's pretty a niche hobby shop because it exclusively caters to these kinds of projects (as opposed to knitting, crocheting, etc). It has everything you could think of for the types of sewing hobbies that the store caters to, however. Highly recommend a visit for anyone into sewing crafts! Everyone working there has their own crafting specialty and is very knowledgeable about it.

I can't say this is my type of shopping destination, but this is a great store for arts, crafts, Penn Yan and Keuka Lake memorabilia, and a Vera Bradley dealer. The store is clean, well-stocked, and staffed by a very friendly staff. I actually found a number of items to get for the wife, and my relatives all found a couple of things they really liked. They also had a really cool discount area where a lot of items were dirt cheap, with a decent selection of products. Overall, actually enjoyed shopping here. If you're in the area, especially on vacation, stop in and look around, you're sure to find something very kitschy for your house. Of course this is the place to go if you need some Vera. Or drop in if you're walking through downtown PY, you'll enjoy it.
