I was told that the 'gold' bracelets were made of brass and Russian gold plated. This lends a more vintage-y look to the gold which I thought was unique. The sales lady was extremely helpful and did not try to up-sell me on anything. She showed me all the pieces I wanted to take a closer look at and didn't show an iota of annoyance. The staff don't really seem to want to be here, which seems to be the case at both locations. It's a dollar store, so you can't expect anything fancy. I get plastic ware, ziploc bags and garbage bags here mostly. If you're traveling, they also have soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. It's nice to buy the dollar toothbrushes so you can throw them away on the way home. One strange thing I noticed is that the carts are really low here. I am not tall, and the cart was so low it was awkward for me to push with my purse on my arm.
