I am however annoyed at my recent shopping experience…read morehere.....i had about 30.00 worth of items in my cart--one checkout person was open and three other ladies where just hanging around the desk area....nobody gets in a hurry. My husband was attempting to purchase a man's razor that wasn't marked. They had several different varieties on the shelf all banged up and open boxed and he just happened to be impressed with one that wasn't priced. When we put it with the other items the bar code didn't scan and the checkout lady turned to her supervisor said it wouldn't scan and make a pointing motion to where a tag had apparently fell off as you can still see the adhesive residue. i wanted to just pay for what I had and let them sort this out to keep the line moving but that lady said oh i can suspend this transaction..(thanks asshole!) So she suspended my transaction with the push of one key and ripped off my receipt and handed to her fucking manager so I got pushed aside with that lady to another register...she was on that computer looking up shit for at least 10-15 mintues wtih no success and stated she would have to call another store to find the pricce...SERIOUSLY....????? She never even walked her ample ass to the display to see if she could locate a sticker or bar code---I suggested she find a similar product and use that but she just couldn't do that because it would mess up her precious inventory...seems like they already have a problem. I am not a woman with great patience....so I told the husband he didn't need that damn razor and made the lady take my money for my few other items that I obviously wanted or I would have just left it all and went elsewhere but I did want my little travel cover for my kindle and the dog leash and collar for my dog...so I let her take another 10 mintues to review my entire receipt and finally take my money... Next time I'm skipping this store and experience....

I loved their section of party favors such a huge selection and lots of options for birthdays, anniversaries, general parties. The frozen section here is gold! I called the Cranberry Twp location to ask if they buy gift cards. I was greeted on the phone by a…read morepleasant woman who informed me yes they did. I told her which gift cards I had and she told me upfront what they would be willing to pay out for those in cash. Before hanging up, I questioned about closing time and she said yes its 6pm but you'd want to come before that because it takes some time to look up the balances. I let her know I'd be in well before 6pm and was heading there shortly. Upon arrival I was buzzed into the store since it is locked at all times and greeted by the same women from on the phone, I believe her name is Linda. She was friendly and told me to have a seat when I let her know I was the one who had just called and inquired about the gift cards. She saw me rubbing glue off the back of one the gift cards and said something to the effect of, "oh yeah, lots of places won't accept them if you scratch the PIN to be visible" ...which I was unaware of but it didn't seem to be an issue as she still proceeded. She told me after everything she'd need my driver's license and phone number to complete the transaction. She looked up the value on the first card online and it went through without a hitch. The second card was an older gift card and didn't have a PIN. She said she was unable to look it up online. I asked to see the back of the card because sometimes they mention if it has no PIN listed what you should use instead. As I was reading it I came upon a section that said you can call this phone number to get your balance if there's no PIN and she said yes I saw that I will try calling. I went outside to get my driver's license while she did that. Upon returning into the store, she hung up the phone and said "yeah I can't get the balance for this one, when I call its taking me to a line for management for that business." I thought it was strange being that I had only been outside for maybe 30 seconds getting my license and she was able to get that info that quickly. I agreed and got the money for the first gift card. When I got into my car, I immediately called the number on the back of the 2nd card and got a message saying "welcome to the gift card hotline, to receive the balance of your gift card, please press 1" followed by "enter your 16 digit card number followed by the # sign" ....I did so and got the balance right away saying all the money was there that I thought. All in all, I'm not sure if I'd return to this store unless I was strapped for cash and needed it right away. My reasons for my rating are this: I'm giving one star for Linda being very polite and pleasant both on the phone and upon me entering the store. I'm giving a second star for her being upfront and letting me know over the phone how much I would receive for both cards. I'm giving a 3rd star for the overall condition of the establishment. However, I'm deducting a star for not explaining the documents or process that needed to be followed when selling gift cards. Even though I called prior to coming in, I wasn't told I'd need to bring in a driver's license (which I luckily had) nor that I should not scratch the PIN or numbers to be revealed on the back of the cards. I'm also deducting a star for her not really putting in much effort to try and get the balance on the second card. I'm not sure what phone number she called but I was able to get the balance and it was very straight forward when I called. It almost felt like she was just brushing it off to be honest, and I'm not sure if its because the back numbers had been scratched to be revealed? Maybe she thought I was trying to pull a fast one on them and didn't want to take a chance, I don't know? To recap: She was friendly and pleasant. And I knew what I would be getting upfront which was nice. But I feel the ball was dropped on the rest of it. I will probably go elsewhere next time unless its an emergency.

Perhaps the win of the day was the Ralph Lauren business dress that I found in my petite size for only $19.99! It doesn't get any better than that, folks.

Next day home depo sent me a email saying they would be here Saturday to deliver and Install. We got the pedestal so we was figuring they ment they was coming to install it. I got a message they would be here 11 to 3:00 pm. Got a notification saying I'm the next stop. I tracked the truck he made 6 stops. Fours hours later got another email saying need to reschedule. Two hours later got notification saying delivery completed. I called customer service she said install was not included. My receipt say install free. I wanted to return it she said I can't, I have to send back ups. I ordered from home depo not ups. They do not stand behind their word. Says all returns to home depo. Not my problem they had it dropped shipped. We spend sooo much money at there location. Never again. We've been shopping there 26 years. We will never walk back into that place. Lowe's is our go to.
