Home Depot is a home-improvement store chain that has thousands of retail stores across North America. This particular store is located in Chippewa Township. I do not usually shop at this particular Home Depot, but I was in the area, so I stopped in. I felt most interested in seeing the selection of kitchen cabinets, countertops, and tile flooring. I spent many minutes in the kitchen section, and two nearby employees spoke zero words to me, not even to say hello, let alone to ask if I needed assistance. I thought that the styles of cabinets were OK. I found a couple of countertop materials and colors that I liked. Next, I had trouble with finding the tile flooring, because it was not next to the flooring sign, but I did find its aisle, and I chose a particular brand and color that I like. This Home Depot always has great service. They have Poeple to direct you where to go. And takes care of their veterans with preferred parking. If you need help with a project they have experience personal to give you great advice. I highly recommend this Home Depot. read more

Another Store that I don't spend much money on these days after around this time last year I was pricing out a tool and decided to wait until the Christmas Special and get a bargain price not knowing that they raised the price $40 more and said it'sa "Christmas Special" Now am I Theo Lucius one that going crazy here? 200 employees roaming around. 2 who will help. Your best bet for help is to ask a fridge guy who's sitting down. Recently, I went in to exchange a propane tank. The guy in the lot said to go to customer service. 4 people working that counter, 1 actually working. One of the 3 watchers saw me holding the tank and began to berate me for bringing the tank inside. I go here cause it's close or if I know exactly what I need and where it's located. read more

We tried to buy a dishwasher from this Home Depot and have it installed - mistake! The dishwasher was special ordered, and we had to wait for an installation date. The dishwasher came defective and we had to refuse it a the time of the installation. The store and the manufacturer never called us to reschedule within the promised 72 hours, and when we called four days later to try to schedule a new install time the store stated they would call us back and then they never did. We are going to get our money back and then go to Lowes. Save yourself some time and hassle, just go to Lowes in the first place. read more

Words can not express how un happy we are we put money on roofing Materials. There was delay in picking up the Materials they transferred money back into an account and we're holding it do we place the order for the new materials in early September I drove to the store to check on everything to make sure everything was OK as far as the finances. On September 20 my contractor called and said he was going to be coming on the 25th to start my job. On the 21st I got a letter telling me that they were refunding me the balance off my account . The check was being mailed to me and it would take 21 days to receive. After waiting 25 days I called and received information saying that no the check would take 4 to 6 weeks. After 5 1/2 weeks I was angry posted something on Facebook they called me the next day Do you see why I haven't gotten the check yet they would call me back within the next 24 hours. Received no call back I called back again how to explain the situation to yet another person who said they would look into it and they would figure it out. And at six weeks four days I called againThe gentleman that Talk to Made a call Told me that because today was Saturday I would have to wait till Monday that they were closed on the weekends. On Monday I called back they said they would call and find out what was going on. While I was at work with no phone on me they did call me back left a message at 4:08 telling me if I called them back before 430 they would be able to re-verify my phone number and address because they mailed the check to the wrong address. So I drove to the store the next day I did not want them to mail me another check they said there was no way they could do it any other way they called corporate talk to corporate they said that they would overnight a check to me and I would have it by today they promised this. It did not come today. Something I don't understand to begin with because they had my phone number they had my address all was in the computer. For one thing the money was not left over from the completed job. They should not have refunded the money because I was just in the week before to make sure everything was OK he noted to my account what the job was yet to be done and I didn't even call Before they refunded the money. It is now November 7th in southwest Ohio average temperature right now is just about 40 all of next week is going to be in the 30s and below I have a leaky roof. End it looks like I'm going to have one till spring. Very unhappy with home depo. They are aware that my husband is a wounded warrior. And we live on a low income places to go a lot to get all that money together. read more

I have had to go to this store 4 times in as many days since just purchasing a home in the area. The paint department has been helpful and attentive, but sadly, the young lady at the Customer Service desk was rude, impatient and only slightly managed to veil her contempt when I asked her to check a price at Lowes on a vacuum cleaner. And yes, Lowes had it for $30 less and yes, I intended to purchase it at The Home Depot but after this short exchange, I walked out and made my purchase at Lowes instead. If you can't be pleasant, you have NO business being behind the "Service" desk. read more

I normally buy lots of supplies at the Home Depot in Bainbridge, Ohio and I'm a diy'er. Years ago they were great but I went into the store this morning and it was a chaotic mess with dirty and dark aisles with employees talking in groups with themselves instead of helping customers. I went to go buy some treated deck boards and as soon as I arrived they basically closed the entire lumber department for restocking which should be done at night after the store is closed. The pandemic is no excuse. Sorry. This is the closest yard and I had 3 gaping holes in my backyard deck and is unsafe that I'm fixing. Nobody came up and greeted me and asked if I needed help. So when, I asked for help I was ignored because they seemed to be more busy in restocking shelves than helping customers. Besides that, when you crowd aisles with stuff including metal ladders and other junk, you make it a safety hazard!!! This is not a good way to treat your customers especially when I dump $1,000's of dollars there almost every year!!! Home Depot? You got an F today. SO I went to Carter Lumber in Burton, Ohio. 100% better. They were far better with their customers and took my order fast. I Got my order in. loaded the truck and back to the site in the same amount of time I waited for help at Home Depot. Carter Lumber got an A++ Why can't Home Depot learn from this and improve the service? It's easy. read more

We always get help when we need it here. We usually have to ask for help, but I prefer asking rather than being pestered by employees the whole time. I purchased flooring on-line. It was easily tracked from my computer and I was texted when it came in. I picked up and the service was excellent. I had 15 boxes of flooring that needed loaded in my truck and Joe from the Chippewa store loaded all 15 of them in my truck. He was very polite and friendly. I will gladly go back to the Chippewa Store again with such good people working there. I am not sure Joe's last name but he was working around 11 AM on Friday 10-31-14.
