If it hasn't been on that show, not sure why it hasn't. I actually didn't know that there is three floors, so I will have to come back again and check out the other floors. I literally just strolled through the first floor, ha. It was pretty cold in the store on this winter day. So, not sure if the heat works too well. The store clerk was very helpful and attentive. The prices are very expensive. I have no idea what this stuff is worth because I don't but a lot of antiques. It is certainly fun to look at this crazy collection of stuff though.

The space is rather small and very cramped. With it being like this the items are all packed in and sometimes hard to sift through. There is a bit of organization to the chaos, but in actuality it is just a bit chaotic altogether. I walked in and wanted to go through the men's section and maybe look to see what else they have to offer in terms of knickknacks, but it was just all piled up on itself that it kind of gave me anxiety to go through the stuff. The employee, maybe volunteer, that was working at the time had a flat affect and made for a bit of a weird interaction. When I walked in I had said hello and attempted some idle chit chat, but it was as if I was bothering her, or maybe she just didn't even care that I was there. Whatever it was that kind of added to my anxiety at that point. I sifted a bit, and then just kind of made my way to the door.

Walking Carson Street you wouldn't think to look twice while passing it. It honestly looks like it could be somebody's house. Much like some of the places that dot the street. The only reason we knew to enter here was that the door was open to the store. When you walk in you are greeted by an employee (possibly the owner). Very helpful she was, she also informed us that there is more merchandise to look at on the upper level and backroom. When she said upper level we assumed the four or five steps it took to get up to the platform from the main floor. Nope, we were wrong. The upstairs of the place had stuff in it. Remember back when I mentioned this looked like someone's house. Well, when you walk up to the platform area it's really the dining room. The backroom, really a kitchen. Upstairs, bedrooms with closets. Really odd, but also really unique for a set up for a store. Each room of the "house" was stocked with items you would find in that particular room. Napkins, pot holders and what not in the kitchen and so forth. As for the merchandise in here. Definitely one of a kind type of items. Photographs of various Pittsburgh landmarks, bracelets galore and just everything you could imagine an artist creating is for sale in here. Once I move into a bigger place I can guarantee you I will be coming here for some prints to hang on my wall. They even have some awesome items that make you think, "Why didn't I think of that before?" I also imagine if Pintrest was a store, this would be what it was based on. I examined some of the items and then thought to myself, 'remember this, you are going to try and do this yourself at home.' Prices vary, but you have to remember you are paying for the artist here. I assume most the revenue from the prices goes back to the artist that generated the abundance of items in here.

There is plenty of space in each room, not crowded at all. They had a good variety from clothing to jewelry, housewares, toys, and a little bit in between. I wouldn't say they had a large quantity of product, but the fact that they weren't crammed with inventory made it easier to navigate around. The prices seemed more than fair on a lot of the items I browsed.
