Definitely a townie hangout. (I'm fine with townie hangouts; some people aren't.) The food and the service are okay. You can tell the food is actually, you know, MADE THERE and not just prepackaged and reheated in the microwave, which is good. But the food itself is just okay. The waitresses are friendly but not very attentive. My husband and sons enjoy it here, but to be honest all the taxidermy freaks me out. Hasn't the owner proven his manhood enough already? read more

This place is pretty wild decor wise. The French toast is amazing along with their choice of maple syrup. But! Id bet the inmates at the worcester house get fed better scrambled eggs Bacon and toast. I'd go back, but I would probably try an omlet next time. Do love the rustic scene! read more

I lovfe this place. I am a pretty regular customer and the girls are all great. The breakfast is tasty, the pastrami sandwiches rock my world, my coffee cup is always full and the coconut creme pie is awesome. Michael's makes my Monday mornings glorious. read more

If you enjoy eating with dead animals around you, this is the place. I was looking for a breakfast place not a hunting lodge. I couldn't enjoy my food due to excessive animal decorations. My steak was overcooked and the whole meal lacked flavor. Service was o.k. Staff was friendly. read more

if you are in any way involved with PETA, are anti-2nd Amendment, or have a pet bear at home, this is not the place for you to consume food. You won't be able to get the fork in your mouth through the tears streaming down your face (see pictures). Other than that, the food is good. Breakfast menu is worth the trip, even if it's a bit overpriced for pancakes and eggs. read more

Great home-cooking stick-to-your ribs fare. Plus the three best words ever: "Breakfast all day"!

My boyfriend and I love this place! I always order their homemade hash, and my bf always seems to drift toward the homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. Fantastic every time! HIGHLY recommend! read more

This is my go to diner for breakfast. Large menu. Good food. Friendly staff. Decent prices. Always a good choice.

It's seat yourself...busy when we went but got a seat within 10 minutes. Service wasn't that great. My bf got one thing he ordered 15 minutes before I got my food. Then he got his second food item another 5 minutes after that. The Belgian waffle was super soggy. The atmosphere is fun but I found that to be the best part. read more

We went here to see the taxidermy and get some breakfast and we were not disappointed! The taxidermy is not for the faint hearted, though, including the photos. I had the build-your-own breakfast burrito, which was fine (next time I would skip the kielbasa and get sausage or bacon instead), and my husband had a delicious omelet with big chunks of ham (not deli meat). He also had the homemade apple raisin cinnamon toast, which was fantastic. Portions were large, and relatively reasonably priced. It is seat yourself, which meant we were sort of hovering on Sat AM at 10:30, but there were plenty of seats at the counter too. Waitresses seem to catch tables as they come in, so service could be hit or miss (it was perfectly fine for us, in and out in 30 min). We'll definitely go back! read more

Good stuff. Feels like the place was plucked out of Maine and dropped into Lancaster.. This is a good thing. Kielbasa is fantastic and they have some pretty creative omelets! Haven't been disappointed! read more

We are visiting from Nevada and our daughter suggested this place for breakfast. The diner was nicely decorated and that's where it ended. Our waitress was less than pleasant to say the least. When asked about if they had chicken fried steak she replied no in a snide tone. Then she added that they had chicken fried chicken but we're out. We ordered our breakfast and half of it was delivered but we were told "your pancakes and toast are coming right up". That couldn't have been further from the truth. Another lady dropped off pancakes for my granddaughter in a dead run. No toast. We had to flag down our waitress and ask for syrup, her reply "oh she didn't get you syrup"? To which my granddaughter replied "no". After what seemed to be several minutes we had to flag same waitress down and ask "can we please have some syrup?" To which she replied "I asked her and she said no". When she came back with the syrup we inquired about our missing toast. When the toast did arrive my eggs were dead cold. When I sent it all back and requested that ALL of my food arrive hot the waitress had that deer in the headlights look acting like I'm a butthead expecting hot food. I would highly recommend blowing by this place and eating anywhere but here. Super snotty waitresses and even worse food. Really disappointed wish I could get my money back. read more

This place is a pretty exceptional diner. And it really is nothing more than a diner, but the atmosphere certainly aspires (using that loosely) to be something else. A taxidermists wet dream, this place is an odd assortment of hometown feel and museum of preserved death. But the stuffed animals don't take away from solid breakfast fare in all it's diner-esque greasy glory! read more

Great down-home, comfort food. Rather weird decor (what with all the stuffed dead animals) but I guess it is consistent with the general theme. I felt like I was eating in Wisconsin. Service was terrific the first visit, indifferent the second -- we will be going back and hoping for a repeat of the first great experience. read more

We love it here. The vibe and decor tend to ward off the liberals and other hoplophobics, which is nice. The staff, the food, everything is so well done. Do NOT skip the homemade corned beef hash; it alone is worth a drive. Same goes for the homemade apple cinnamon French toast. read more

We were a party of seven. The service was good up until after the order was placed. Meals came out one at a time 5-6 minute apart. So everyone was served and eating at different times. Our waitress was not very friendly at all. When the check came there were a bunch of prices written over the items ordered so we had no idea what each person owed. When I mentioned it to our server she did not offer to help us figure it out. The food was just ok. , home fries were burnt and English muffin was cold. When my daughter went to pay her portion the woman sitting at the counter with her back to the diners was very rude to her. Then when my son went to pay the balance she said to him "I really am a nice person". She cashed both of my children out and no where was there a spot on the receipts to write in a tip and she charged them both without asking if they wanted to leave a tip. We did not have cash to leave one as we paid with cards. Our waitress was rude and not attentive to us at all. And to make it worse the restaurant was no very busy while we were there. There were empty tables. We won't be returning here again . read more

"Get stuffed" surrounded by hunting trophies in this authentic country diner. We took the family for brunch between soccer games at nearby Lancaster fields. Fantastic Irish eggs Benedict with homemade corned beef hash. Kids had Nutella stuffed French toast. read more

Michael's Bridge Diner - Diners Near Me - Lancaster, Massachusetts

My sister is from the local area and she suggest we meet here, 3 children and 5 adults. The service was all smiles , we were seated quickly menus and coffee on its way. Our server Karen, I believe her name was was such a sweetheart. She brought my nephew a highchair without asking. The food was out of this world!!!! and so cheap You must try the home made hash yummm, heard the chef makes it every day. Everything was fresh and HOTT!! One thing I absolutely loved about this place was the clean bathroom it was practically sparkling. I deeply appreciate a clean bathroom, as someone who eat out 2-3 times a week a dirty bathroom can just kill a place for me. Not this place so clean! JUST GO! read more

Good food served quickly. Some unusual items, but mostly familiar standards. Decor is hunting lodge and New England diner.

Food is always great, service not so much!! Had breakfast/lunch with my son today and was completely ignored! They slammed our food on the table and walked away never checked back in or anything no syrup no nothing we sat with our dirty dishes for about 15/20 minutes before I had to go up and ask for a box . Being in the service industry I'm completely understanding if it's busy it's one thing not having great service but for 3 serves and few tables completely unacceptable read more

Absolutely adore this place, I come here pretty much every weekend! The sign doesn't lie, definitely #1 for breakfast in my book! I've never come here for lunch but that's probably because my eyes never get past the breakfast menu, with a huge list of specials you could come here every day, get something different and still be amazed every time. Besides the food being delicious, that's a given, the atmosphere of this place is so cozy you'll never want to leave. Granted, if you can get past the hustle bustle of the breakfast rush, you will enjoy every minute you're here. read more

First time here....decor is a little over the top. I don't mind a few taxidermy animals but not a slaughter house. Food is average and a little overpriced compared to other area establishments (over easy, dinky's) you can tell that some waitresses put more effort in than others. Ours was ok, didn't go out of her way to be extra friendly but wasn't horrible. Got the steak and cheese omelet which was average. Would have rated this a 3 but the homemade corned beef hash bumped it up to a 4. Probably won't return though because over easy is superior. read more

I'm obsessed with this place. I come here every time I'm over my boyfriend's house since he lives down the street. Their breakfast sandwiches on a bulkie roll are heavenly, we always get the same thing every time. Only thing I didn't like was the strawberry French Toast because they didn't use fresh strawberries, only the syrupy kind. Service is great and the waitresses are super sweet. read more

I frequent this place often during the week. The food is good and the waitstaff does a good job attending to the beverage. The omelets are great! read more

As far as breakfast food goes this place has it all! The service is okay but nothing to rave about. Our waitress was sweet but forgot my toast a few times and I had to ask for her to bring it! (It was about 25 minutes) the reason I gave three stars is based on decor and cleanliness! They have large amounts of people coming in and out so I'm sure it difficult to keep up with! You have to seat yourself and if there's not a table you just stand there and wait for one to open which would be fine except (this is where the decor comes into play) there are hundreds of photos of animals being killed and bloody and the so called men that shot them!!! DISTURBING!!! Honestly I think they could take them down and leave there other million redneck themed sayings up and that would suffice! Also there are other dead animals strewn throughout the place also a bit strange! I guess if you're use to the backwoods/redneck type setting it's fine! Our food was pretty good so this is not a representation of they're selection of food just based solely on what they think is okay for display! read more

The food here is good and the place is very clean. I have been there a few times now and I have not been disappointed by the food but I have yet to really find someting amazing either. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Early in the morning I have noticed that it can get very loud and crowded. read more

Sadly, I was not impressed. Based on reviews, went in with high hopes. But it was nothing special unless you're into taxidermy. Belgian waffle was fine. Omelette was fine. Bacon tasted a little off. Sausage got a big thumbs up! The toast however was literally dripping with oleo. Every time I picked it up I needed a napkin. Service was confusing. The servers were VERY nice but would occasionally disappear, at least before we ordered. However, let me restate, the servers were very sweet and attentive when in the area. Overall, it was a mediocre breakfast surrounded by stuffed dead animals. And who doesn't love that? read more

Basic diner food. Weird atmosphere with all the dead and stuffed animals all over the place. The hash is really tasty but, the pancakes are the stars here. Place is crazy busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait read more

My mom and I went here to eat for the first time in a LONG time and it was AMAZING! Great food, relatively inexpensive, and the decor was really cool! There's nothing like walking into a restaurant and seeing an 10 foot bear! 5 stars! read more

If you enjoy looking at dead animals that the owner has shot and stuffed this would be your ideal location for breakfast. The service was poor. Server did not check in on us and we had to flag down another server to get refills. It is unappealing to look at dead animals and think that you're going to eat meat. read more

Great pancakes! The eggs Irish are superb and the sausage gravy over biscuits a delicious treat! Favorite diner in the state!

I have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed the food. The omelets are good and stuffed full of your choice of ingredients. Servers are always nice but it definitely gets crazy on the weekends. And as for the decor, it gives you something interesting to look at while you are waiting for your food. read more

Please try the biscuits and gravy! They are the best I've had in the area. Not too spicy and definitely not bland. If it's a holiday weekend, you'll want to get there wicked early. The place fills up fast and the line is out the door. read more

Good service ...decent breakfast....not the best but pretty close...taxidermy animals everywhere...overwhelm decor....

Food is great but over priced. Typically establishments that do well keep their prices low but this place struggles with that concept. Waitresses are always busy so you must keep on them for coffee and such more often than not. Get here early, it gets busy.. BUSY! Decor is great, good for keeping kids interested and the staff is usually pleasant. All the negatives aside this is really a decent place to eat.. read more

The food is alright but the atmosphere is extrenely disturbing. The place is full of dead animals shot and killed by the owner only to be stuffed and displayed at the restaurant. I had to look for a table away from the dead animals to sit and eat my food. I noticed that it has made other people in the restaurant very uncomfortable. I hope the owner stops killing animals just for the sake of display. read more

I used to be a big fan of this place but as of recent their breakfast always makes me sick within minutes of leaving this place. Not sure why. read more

Walked in. Seat your self restaurant.most the tables where not cleaned off from the last people. Found a table that didn't have trash on it and sat down. There where only two menues for a four person table, and no more where available. Order. Food is not bad. It's quality is average. The waitress never came and check on us. We had to flag someone down like I was landing a plane every time one of us needed a refill. We got done eating and waited 30 mins. No check and no service. Flagged someone down again, and the brought me the check and took my debet card. 30 mins again. They didn't bring my card back. I got up and walked over. I had to stand in everyone's way in order for someone to talk to me. Keep on in mind This places was not busy... took my card off of a bar it was sitting on. They ran my card and then just left my card sitting on the bar.... the food is average. No customer service and no basic restaurant educate. Your better off going anywhere else. read more

Most amazing breakfast. Eggs benedict is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!
