I stayed calm and kept driving into town.. and watched for the last 45 minutes of my Seattle-Walla Walla trip as the crack grew, and grew, and grew. Economy Glass was easy for this tourist to find, so I drove there first thing. The employees were really nice and tried very hard to find a replacement for my newish Subaru windshield. Nothing was in stock for about a 100 mile radius, so they tried to fix my crack with some sort of epoxy or (?) They only charged me $80, and while the epoxy didn't end up working (the crack still grew a bit) I was happy with the service and the attempt to fix it, and I felt like this was a trustworthy business. The people were SO nice. Hopefully I won't need another windshield repair or replacement on my next visit to Walla Walla, but if I do, I'll return to Economy Glass!

When I called Economy Glass, Lewis gave me a reasonable quote, he had a replacement in stock, and my new windshield was installed in less than 24 hours after I first called him. I initially took it to a Toyota dealership that blew out the drain pipes that are on both sides of the roof. That worked for a couple of months but began leaking in January. When I returned to the Toyota dealership they determined that the skylight was the issue & quoted $1659.94 to replace the sunroof glass saying that the rubber seal on the sunroof was failing. I have never used the sunroof & when I looked at the rubber seal it looked brand new! I then went to the Windshield Doctor and met Dillan LeGrand. I explained the issue & he spent the next few hours sealing the drains while I waited. He charged a $100.00 fee for time and materials. He said to wait until it rained to insure the roof did not leak. After several weeks & no rain I decided to go through the car wash over the weekend. Not a drop of water leaked through the roof!! Yesterday I went to the shop & was thrilled to pay his fee. Dillan provided a solution to the problem, was courteous, creative and I highly recommend Dillan & his abilities! The Toyota dealership saw a silver haired senior woman, driving a Lexus & went "ChaChing"!! BS on that. Thank you Dillan LeGrand!

They also were very transparent in its progress with an open line of text communication for updates and estimates on its completion. In addition to fixing my car, it was completely cleaned inside and out, hasn't been this clean since I bought it! They walked me through everything, and assured that if there were any issues with parts of the car that were repaired, they'd fix it for no cost. Also, they say if you leave a review on Google, you can receive a complimentary car wash in the future, but I decided to leave one on Yelp too! Obviously nobody ever wants to have their car in the shop, but it's nice knowing the Tri-Cities has a place where you'll receive great customer service if you do need a repair.
