Dog gone it! Another rock on the windshield! Affordable Windshields to the rescue! I was nice enough to let me husband borrow my Tesla for a trip to Seattle and sure enough, a rock hit the windshield for the second time and pitted it good this time. OMG. How much will a Tesla windshield replacement cost? Luckily, I was able to get into Affordable quickly and they were able to fill the crack and send me on my way easily with the windshield repaired PERFECTLY. Can't even see where it was. This happenned last month but I just wrote it now because I hate to give a bad review to a small locally owned business and people I thought .can be trusted but what shall I do ? I have to pay big chunk of money for the mistake they did when they said they fixed the rock chip in my windshield. I am still Mad specially after I have it looked and they confirmed it to me that the chip was not filled thats why the air went in the windshield and cracked it completely. Money is hard to earn this time of recession and I have to pay this expense thatt should have beeen prevented if the job was done right. read more

took my scion in there to get a windshield didn't like the way the they put in seal ,told him wasn't happy, said it wont leak , two weeks later was leaking.. mark spot ,for him to fix ,went to to pick up notice paint chip and and rubber seal around windshield look worst then before (put in some cheap seal) ,rubber sealent all over , one week later leak in same spot called him took back to get fixed said he took out windshield n resealed it... like he did time before nope (nope he did not take out ) filled with rubber sealent looks like crap,,, wanted me to leave it so he could do right lol , told him this is the third time if u cant do right the first two times y should I leave it again .. I would not take my car are tell anyone to take their car the for repair don't no recommend this place ,, pay a few bucks more n get it done right by someone else read more

I wish I could give Affordable Windshields & More negative stars! I was told on the phone they do not do mobile windshield replacements and I said I would go elsewhere. Dale, presumptively the owner, called me back immediately. He said the reason they don't do mobile replacement is because with a passenger side airbag the car cannot be driven for several hours. The vehicle is in a body shop for crash repairs, it won't be driven for a couple weeks. Then he said bylaws (whatever that is) prevent mobile windshield replacement. I said the body shop owner actually suggested it. He said if I ask the body shop owner he would not allow his own car to have mobile windshield replacement. Then he proceeded to say he doesn't work for the body shop and wanted to schedule an appointment to do exactly what he said he could not. Understand I do not have the vehicle in my possession to be able to schedule a time for the work AND he already said "bylaws" prevent him from doing the work. So I asked him why he called me back and he just danced around that and wanted to schedule an appointment. I called Safelite Auto Glass, which has done both windshield repairs and replacements for me in the past and even on the same vehicle. Turns out the body shop had already scheduled Satelite to do the mobile windshield replacement at their shop. It would be nice to patronize local businesses, but why would you with this kind of crap? Dale argued with me and treated me like I was an idiot and unreasonable. I have lived in a rural area and had a local business come to my home many times to do repairs and replacements, at least two windshield replacements on two different vehicles. I don't know what this guy's problem is or what "bylaws" he is talking about. read more
