If there's one thing I love more than golf, it's golf course food. So naturally after our round, we headed straight to the restaurant for lunch. There's no servers, so you'll order at the register and they'll give you a buzzer to call you when your food is ready. I ordered a turkey burger and fries, which honestly was not very good. It felt like the turkey patty was from frozen and cooked to order, but that patty was like a thicker air hockey puck. I had a bite of my friend's burger and that was much better. The fries were tasty, solid fries for sure. I split my order with my SO and she got the chicken Caesar wrap, which the half I ate had mostly croutons and not much chicken. I think the ratio here could use work, but another suggestion would be to grill/toast the wrap. We also got an order of Korean fries, and that I don't think I'd get again unless they add some kinda protein to it. While I wasn't super impressed by the food, at least it's reasonably priced. I think $13-17 for most of the sandwiches and burgers is reasonable given the area.

Good place to grab a bit to eat "at the turn". There are good options and the prices are very reasonable. In addition, the partial view of the course and driving range are nice and calming.

Chicken Cobb salad and pastrami sandwich with fries

So we ordered pastrami sandwich and chicken Cobb salad. The sandwich was good but the salad lacked dressing and was missing one important ingredient- boiled egg!!! and they never bothered to make any more or tell us about it. Considering how long our food took, they could've boiled one egg or asked us if we wanted something else instead. Halfway through our game we stopped to get a cold drink and the place was closed. Nothing in the carts board says anything about the restaurant hours (they only had deals on food posted so it makes you think that food and drinks are available). Besides it was only around 330pm.

Nice place and nice view, menu items are good and they have daily specials and also father day special. Highly recommended

Eggs benedict with bacon

Great ambiance. Food I had eggs benedict with a side of bacon (no beer for me). The flavors were all there, bacon perfectly cooked, and this also had Canadian bacon. Everyone had very large portions for their order (even salad seemed like a large size, even for a half order). Ambiance The location is great and you can watch folks golfing in the distance. A good place to go to after hiking/walking around the shoreline trail. This place is popular and the wait is only really long since there's so many people that come here on the weekends when they are doing various activities from canoeing, hiking, biking etc. Def the go-to place post-activity with a nice outdoor seating. The bathrooms are clean as well. Service They gave free coffee for our party since we had a very large group (like 20+ people).

Ask the Community - Michael's at Shoreline Restaurant

Its been a decade since i started going to shoreline, everytime i took a peek inside, there was either empty big room or empty tables, now i just see here on yelp saying you serve lunch? I am utterly confused, is this a restaurant?

9/18/26 Friday 12:15PM Pacific Standard Time…read more Online reservations for 12:30 indoor seating party of four - we were greeted and seated by a smiling young lady into a nice booth. Our server Ellie appeared, waters were delivered and she took our drink order. Our drinks were delivered and our food order was taken. Seamless, and quick, even with some questions from the ladies. Mind you, it was lunch time on Castro Street, pedestrians only, so very trendy. Busy. NOISE LEVEL LOUD. You may remove hearing aids. DOUBLE SMASH BURGER $19.50 garlic dijonnaise / American cheese / red onion / dill pickles and that was it. Top bun was room temperature, and the bottom bun was only warm from the cooked meat. Had a nice grilled cheese burger aroma, tasting like any other greasy, juicy, salty, cheese burger, nothing different or special. Accompanying fries were mildly seasoned, and I found no need to add salt. It was good, would order it again, but I don't feel it's worth the price. From the $13.00 special price menu: FISH & CHIPS $13.00 - what there was of the small portion of fish was seasoned well, as were the chips (fries). The Brit (the Duchess) in the party, gave her approval. The realm settled into contentment. COKE - $3.95 - glass with ice and straw was just enough to get me through my meal. GINGER LIME SODA - $7.00 - the Duchess was not happy with her order stating it was too sour, lacking any sweetness. She would never, ever order again and especially not at this price. The other couple in our party ordered Eureka burgers (American Swiss / grilled red onion / lettuce / house pickles / tomato / special sauce) substituting cheddar cheese for the Swiss. These burgers did come with bite size lettuce, a slice of tomato and pickle chips and fries. A side of onion rings completed their meal. I stole the woman's pickle chips and the flavor was great, just perfect . . . yum. Accompanied by two IPA beers. The cloudy lagers seemed to fill the bill. These burgers appeared to be just normal, greasy, juicy, salty regular cheese burgers. Nothing to take your breath away. SERVICE: Great! Ellie was attentive without hovering. It was a busy lunchtime hour, but they seem to have enough staff to handle the lunch rush. Ellie handled our table expertly with some patience I might add, so 5 stars to her. 2nd time here and I probably won't return. Pricing and noise level are a concern. Their acoustics are not made to handle the volume of chatter and music. PARKING: Entrance to public parking on Villa St., half block from Eureka's, located on the corner of Villa and Castro.

Love this place. Fantastic cocktail and innovative food. Great ambience. What more can one ask?…read more I got the hot spring spritz to start. Refreshing. And Pinot noir complemented my dishes well. All was very good , portion they say is to share but I don't think so, excepted like us , that we were 4 for people at the table and we share the food ordering a little extra. Prices are in the higher range. Service need to improve, some of the drink was club soda and Diet Coke, they bring in a glass when you ask for refill, then you get the surprise in the bill that they charge for each drink because are in a 6oz or less per bottle.....and the server didn't explained that, and cost $6 per bottle. Also Was very slaw and didn't follow our table during the time that we were there, just the busser to pick up the dirty plate and bring the drinks refill. The atmosphere was nice modern and big patio area. Sorry I didn't take pictures to all dishes. ( in this location use to be a Faz restaurant) I will back to try some other dishes.

Unfortunately, we left regretting that decision. From the start, the experience felt unwelcoming when we were seated with our 3-year-old daughter. There was no single overtly disrespectful moment, but the overall tone and repeated small interactions made us feel like we were being judged for having a child with us. At one point, when our daughter accidentally dropped her fork while playing, the reaction we received came across as frustration, which added to that feeling. We understand not every restaurant is designed for young children, but Broma presents itself as a place for friends and family. Instead, we felt like we had to constantly manage and overcorrect normal toddler behavior, which created stress and took away from what should have been a special occasion. Because of that, we didn't feel comfortable raising concerns during the meal when the server checked in--we were more focused on getting through the experience without drawing additional attention. We were also offered an off-menu item without any mention of price. The menu we were given did not list the smash burger, so when I ordered a double, I had no context for the cost. The final price was a surprise, and we would have made a different decision with that information upfront. The food itself did not match the price point. The "smash burger" was not prepared in the style typically expected, and overall the meal felt underwhelming for the cost. Lastly, the billing was confusing. The paper receipt listed "gratuity," while the digital receipt labeled the same charge as a "service charge," making it unclear whether an additional tip was expected. That lack of clarity does not align with the level of transparency expected at this price point. We don't mind paying for a great experience, especially for meaningful occasions, but this visit did not meet that standard and ultimately left us regretting our choice to celebrate here.

For the price there should have been 4 or 5. Fried chicken with mashed potatoes, sautéed kale. This was delicious, we don't often order fried chicken but this was cooked just right. My sister had the goat cheese salad as her main, it was very good with little balls of fried goat cheese. Drinks: Good wine selection, I had my usual glass of Savee Sea Sauvignon Blanc. Dessert: We split an amazing dessert, the Sticky Toffee pudding Sundae which is caramel and vanilla gelato with a toffee sauce, whipped cream, pecans-- so good! next time I"m getting one for myself.

The German Spicy Mustard was perfect as well as a sweet tomato Chutney. I had the Ribs and Mac & Cheese. The Mac a Cheese had a mild spicy flavor that you don't expect in a Mac & Cheese. It was a perfect blend of Spicy and sweet. Best I've ever had bar none. Hubby had the Truffle Gnocchi. Thought it was really good. The cream sauce was surprisingly light not gut bomb heavy. The Gnocchi was light with perfect texture. Overall great dish. The one failure to the dinner was the Fish n Chips. The fish was extremely fishy in flavor which is not what Fish n Chips is supposed to be. My brother-in-law was the one eating it he stated the fish wasn't fresh must have been frozen. He loves fish n chips but marked this one at the bottom of the list. Be kind to one another

Today, I was in the mood for something more than a salad (much as I wanted to preset what I had the first time coming here, I made a concerted effort to order something else...), thus I chose the Forager Flatbread. It took less time to make this time (roughly about five minutes after ordering), and when it came out, I marveled at how it looked like a work of art! Just beautiful! Each piece of herbed formage blanc flatbread had a nice, crunchy bottom (but not blackened) and a slightly tanginess, with a a good amount of "hen-of-the-wood" mushrooms, sweet roasted garlic and a bed of arugula. My, oh, my! My first bite was a multi-level extravaganza! The crunch of the bread, followed by the aroma of the herbs and arugula, then the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the roasted garlic, the earthiness of the mushrooms - all came together as just a wonderful work of culinary art! This being my first time eating today, my saliva glands just fired off at first bite, causing a bit of intense pain from too much saliva shooting out. But, seriously, this was a very delicious entree, that I enjoyed from start to finish! Bravo for this second joyous experience!
