I bought a bag from this store a month ago. I've never bought this brand before. After bringing it home I decided it was too large. I went to return it this past Saturday. The woman at the counter advised me it was two days past the 30 day return policy. She said I could do an even exchange or get a store credit. I asked if she was the manager she said yes. I told her I was unaware of the 30 day policy when I made my purchase and asked if she could refund my money. She said "Like I told you I can do two things for you, an even exchange or store credit". I felt this was rude. This was my first experience with this company and it was unpleasant. Now I'm stuck with a gift card for a company I do not wish to do business with again. I will stick with Coach where they are friendly and helpful. read more

I walked in with a friend today to check out the selection for a new everyday bag for myself. We walked past two sales associates who said hello and turned away. The store wasn't crowded, we wandered around and looked at a few bags. The prices were okay but I didn't see any additional discount, so we started walking out of the store. Two new shoppers had just walked in and one of the sales associates that had that greeted us handed them coupons for 50% off valid for that day. We weren't given any coupons when we walked in or when we were walking toward the door to leave. I'm not sure why, but we left and went on to the Coach store. If there is a discount available for the day, it should be offered to everyone in the store, not just a select few. I like the Livermore Outlets Michael Kors location better. read more

Hello everyone, first of all loved the presentation of the store but this is just for those morning shoppers like myself. They use a portable chip reader to ring me up for my purchase . The first time didn't work and had to ring me up again. I immediately got a notification on which they rang me up twice for the same amount. They told me that one would get processed and one would pending would disappear in 3-5 business days. But poof there went all my money for the day. I called my bank and settled my dispute and woke up today and they still rang me up twice. They mentioned to me at the store that this happens for the first transactions of the day. Please if you go be careful on the portable phone card reader because then you'll be running around in circles trying to fix the claim. read more

This place is cool, and I was able to find a nice trendy trench coat for less than $100 score!!!! Honestly, the style of handbags, wallets,and accessories don't look too different from what they sell at the Regular MK stores and department stores. Then again, all MK handbags look the same to me except each seasons they make the handbags and prints in different colors. read more

Went in looking for a men's wallet. Walked into the store and there were about 5 customers looking at things. There was 1 male and 2 female employees towards the front of the store just kind of standing there "trying to look busy". They weren't helping anyone at all. The didn't greet me when I walked in OR when I walked by them. I even made eye contact with the male employee. I walked to the back of the store, turned around, made my way back to the front and now the 3 employees were gathered together talking. I stopped at them and had to "excuse" myself into their conversation because they didn't stop talking on my account. I asked for what I was looking for. 1 female quickly said no. The male quickly walked away since she answered. The other female proceeded to tell me that there were some "unisex" wallets. She showed me a few women wallets that belong in a purse and not a man's pocket. I thanked her and started to leave the store. They all went back to doing....well, NOTHING! Greet a customer? Ask if they're looking for anything in particular? I made my way to Coach and was greeted, helped, and bought the Father's Day gift I was looking for. read more

I did not shop here but my wife did. She said the shop would not take return. What policy is that? I look through the front and the back of the receipt. The only thing I saw was return within 30 days with receipt. And the product must be returned to the factory store. All conditions are met and the store does not take return. Don't shop st Michael Kors factory store. They don't honor their return policy and do not take brand new unused goods back. read more

Excellent customer service!! This is ALWAYS good...sometimes more than the product. The staff were extremely friendly here...very helpful and not pushy at all! They were also very patient as I took very long to decide on a bag....and I was very happy with my purchase. So, I was pretty sad when my bag broke. I didn't think there was anything I could do about this, since it was past the return date, but I thought I'd try my luck and stop by the store. And boy, was I happy I did! They were so nice, helpful and accommodating! They exchanged my broken bag for a new one (of equal value)!! I was so happy. I will definitely come back, again and again. read more

This is not for the galroy store. (Livermore) last day for family & friends 20% off I was $4.00 away from spending $250 still I the cashier wouldn't give me the discount. When I went to the store to exchange a pair of pants I was told without a receipt they will not exchange or refund any items. I showed my bank statement which had the item from the previous week showing I was there. Spoke with manager ROBERT COUNEJO who was No help whatsoever! I'm in the customer service industry myself and I know there are ways around policy's. So I will spread the unfortunate disservice I received from this establishment. Ok! As soon as I entered the store no one greet me (it's ok) and as I was looking for wallets still no one assist me. There's too many sales lady but all they do was talking and stare at me like as if I can afford!!! They were only helping those customer whose carrying Prada bag etc. DISCRIMINATION!!!I Not a happy tourist. The VERY FIRST TIME writing a Yelp review. I am writing because I would like to let you all know about my bad shopping experience in this outlet shop located in Gilroy Premium Outlets,. All the staff needed to be re-trained. It happened on 8/12 last Saturday in the afternoon. My parents purchased 4 handbags in total but I requested for two transactions. The first transaction I was helping my parents to ask if they can provide one or more extra paper bags since we bought those bags as gifts, so it would look much nicer if we can put in other paper bags separately when we give it to our friends. However, cashier staff said there is limited amount of paper bags for each customer. So they only give me one more extra (small one). That is fine. But when I asked for gift boxes, they said there is no gift boxes. So, we got no choice. We need to give our bags to our friends with only white paper wrapping the bags, which made the bags look very cheap. After the 2nd transaction was done (only one handbag), since the staff think they already gave one more bag for me in previous purchase, they ONLY wrap the bag in WHITE tissue paper. The fact is we are not only buying one or two handbags and ask for more paper bags for our own use, we explained our purpose of having more paper bags. The staff are not nice at all, just keep saying "we can not give more since we have our limits on the paper bags." Come on...or can you please try to do something? (like helping me to wrap the handbags nicer with ribbons). And what if 4 handbags were purchased by 4 customers, they need to give out 4 paper bags anyways. Or, is was even better if they said more paper bags were available for purchase. And one of the 4 handbags were final clearance. We were told that was the VERY LAST ONE in store. I asked staff checked for me since we want to purchase one more, or simply just want to compare if there is a better one. However, once i finished the first purchase, i saw one of the staff bought out the another one. Did they really check or it was just a trick for them to sell faster for final clearance. Actually, last year i have bad shopping experience already in the same store, but this year I still want to give it a chance. Last year I wasted an hour in the store...I was told by the staff that I can buy extra 2 bags to get additional discount. I already made one handbag purchase, but when I was leaving, one of the staff on the floor said "no worries, you can choose two more and our cashier can adjust the discount for you". Then I spent another hour to choose two more handbags. But when i checked out, the cashier said "Sorry, NO MORE DISCOUNT since one of the bag was a previous purchase. First, I only purchased the bag an hour ago. And,Second, I was told by one of your staff that it will be ok to make adjustment. I was trying to give you more money but you don't want it. Fine! And I end up RETURN that one bag. And I walked out the store. From now on, I will NEVER shop in that store again, never never. I know i should not put too much expectation in an MK outlet store but the customer service there even worst than a discounted store. Other brands like Coach and Kate Spate, their customer service and communications of staff are WAY MUCH better than MK. read more

Went into the store looking for a gift for my mom not knowing what she really liked or what I should get her. The employees greeted me as soon as I walked in and were very friendly. A couple girls showed me many bags that were popular and some bags they thought my mom would like after telling them what the bags she has look like. I went in this store around the holidays last year looking for something to buy my girlfriend. There were a few other people in the store and the staff still managed to make me feel like a criminal with their judge mental stares. That's talent. I walked around the store looking at each item trying to decide what to buy. I guess thats out of the ordinary because a lady who seemed like she was a manager asked "Are you just going to walk around the whole store?". Visited your outlet store at Five Oakes Sevierville TN Oct 29th I must say that Danny was a wonderful person to do business with, pleasant, smiling and very courteous, however I did not realize that if I decided to do a return it would be for store credit or exchange. I went back and purchased a second one on the 31st then had second thought about its style but after reading return policy guess it will still be mine, but I will not have any doubt next time I shop. We visited the store yesterday (6/15/13) and were greeted immediately upon entering the store by a young gentleman that seemed to be posted at the door because he never moved. We are both 40-something, successful Hispanic professionals and my girlfriend already had a very nice Michael Kors hanging off her shoulder. Not one person ever approached us to see if we needed assistance. Not one person ever offered to help when we were reaching for a bag on the top shelf. I looked around and saw several young ladies standing around chit chatting and one other feverishly trying to make a sale to a woman of a lighter persuasion. There was definitely a vibe of discrimination and assumption of class or income. We both work in management and training, me in biotechnology and her in law enforcement, and were both shocked at this environment. After leaving the store we both agreed that seriously retraining/restructuring is needed if this was happening in this day an age. This is a predominantly ethnic shopping center. One would think that sale is a sale, and good customer service should be held in high regard regardless of ethnicity. Never again. read more
