He was very helpful in understanding what I was unhappy with in my last set of contacts and is currently working with me to find the right contact lenses for me. August 2018: I just took my 80+ yr-old father in for an eye exam and glasses. He was way overdue. We found service to be fast, professional and friendly. The store needs a little TLC (the exam chair's pleather was completely peeled off), and yes, as another Yelper mentioned, the doctor smokes and he does reek of it and strong cologne doesn't mask it. While we were there, several other people came in and were helped in a friendly and professional manner. We would go back if needed.

Overall the service for my exam was fine but when it came down to buying glasses the sales tactics were obvious and horrible. When I started to question the costs I was given diff excuses trying to justify why my glasses were sooo expensive, even when having vision insurance. They told me that buying the same glasses with my insurance would cost me more based on the funny math used for the lens and bundling pricing. Highly recommend taking your prescription to another company or online to save you a lot of money! Sad!

The main reason for the lower rating is simply because of the customer service provided by one of the members from the from desk staff. There were slight indiscriminate indiscretions noted from interacting with her that left me feeling an overwhelming sense of feeling like I received inferior service. The young lady ignored me twice as I stood directly in front of her asking simple questions to assess how I needed to move forward with potentially purchasing frames, in which prompted another worker to ask if I received an answer from her. The building was empty by the way and on a day where I'm sure people were missing and canceling appointments. Basically just a complete lack of empathy and the only solution they offered was for me to wait 2 hours for another appointment. I get I was late but your store is dead and it was 2 min past the grace period and I called to let you know. Really was just looking for any kind of accommodation or help but no the 10 min grace period is the ultimate and infallible law of the land even in the most understandable of circumstances. Looking forward to finding a new optometrist for the foreseeable future EDIT finding a new optometrist is a headache but still faster and easier then trying to get an appointment with these clowns (44 min phone call just to make the wrong appointment)
