He saw my charts probably just then, realized that I had a steroid shot so he probably could not do surgery, so said I need to wait 6 weeks and go back to my doctor that gave me the shot originally. Or else I can see another doctor at his practice! If it is a medical reason he cannot see me for 6 weeks after my shot, then I should not be able to see anyone else either! If it's not a medical reason why he cannot see me, then what changed in 10 days? I asked the front desk why am I being told literally 2 minutes before my appointment that he doesn't want to see me. He had complete disregard for my time, and shows his character on how he treats people. I would avoid these doctors that have the God syndrome that they can treat people anyway they like because they are above everyone else.

I informed this person that they are approximately 250 miles away and from 2002-2003. I asked for a referral that may see me (since I needed help then) without needing past records. They gave me three - I called them all and took the first appointment available, however this Doc (a.k.a. quack) thought me a waste of time and was zero help. So, with the understanding that if I wanted to visit posmc I needed to get medical records. So I went to work... almost five weeks worth of work to get the records to me. Did I forget to mention that I needed to see someone five weeks ago and have been in pain and limited use of limb? I call today to schedule an appointment. No mention of needing medical records, so I asked if something had changed. Quite rude as if I had interrupted her day; 'Sir, unless you are on Medicare/Medicaid we do not require records'. Wow, what a surprise! Just to verify we were on the same page I explained what I had gone through and want to make sure there are no further hiccups so I can get needed medical care. We schedule the appointment, she takes my info and then asks for only the group # and ID #. Explain no problem, I have it just not with me. She says she will book it and I can call back with those two pieces of info and we will be good to go. I get it and call back 5 minutes later and another ("very friendly") lady answers and says I also need the exact name of plan printed on the card (which I didn't have with me), the zip code listed on the card AND the exact co-pay. I asked if this was necessary at this point as I didn't have the info and have never been asked for that much info in the past... EVER! She of course says "yes, we need it now unless you want to be sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes when you get here". Again, Dr. Lund... sorry this has to go on your listing, but maybe it will help influence some change internally for your company. --- FYI... my background is in sales/client service, business ownership and my wife also has extensive background in medical facility operations; just so you know I know how it is supposed to go :).

Was I fired because I hurt Sorin's ego, or was it because my sister wrote a bad review of HER experience? I have been a patient of NTINH for over a decade, and in the approximately 50-80 appointments, I was late by 5 minutes one time, and missed 1 appointment due to Apple's "wonderful" update that turns off the alarm sound if you move your phone. I paid the no-show fee without complaint as it was my fault. Second, I received a "certified mail/registered return receipt" that was absolutely not sent by either, I received it by plain, regular first class mail. Lying seems to be second nature to NTINH. I recently started Botox to treat my migraines. It has been, administratively, a nightmare. There was no pamphlet to explain what to expect or how it works. No one ever provided me with the paper aftercare instructions; I had to pick them up myself at the 6-week follow-up. Each time I scheduled an appointment, I was called before my appointment and told that I needed to move my appointment as Paige wasn't available on those days. Both times, the length of time between the call and my new appointment was too short for me to request an update to my time off, and I then had to involve my manager, making everything twice as complicated. Physically, my second Botox appointment was with Sorin (who was very condescending), and it was so much more painful than Ms Wolfe. The front desk staff, particularly in the Plano location, seem not to have evolved beyond high school mean girls. Elaine Timm is one of the meanest doctors I have ever dealt with. That sounds juvenile but holy God was she awful. Every time I went I dreaded going, and ended up with a stress migraine/headache. She withheld useful pain management information for over a year for some unknown reason. The only useful thing she did was suggest Ajovy/Aimovig, otherwise I stayed at status quo for the entire time I was with her. Frankly, the one star is because I have to and because Dr El-Hag was quite kind.

At one visit, she said she wouldn't be able to address both me and my mom -- even though my mom was newly diagnosed with dementia and I was there to help guide her while still supporting her autonomy. It was an unnecessarily dismissive interaction during a vulnerable time. Practice / Administration The administrative issues were constant. Before every appointment, the office claimed they didn't have my mom's referral, despite her physician sending it repeatedly through email, fax, and the EHR. No other provider has had this problem. An important test was scheduled months in advance, yet the office canceled it without notifying us -- even though a valid referral was active through April 2027 (confirmed by a different person in the office). The follow‑up appointment was also canceled without notice for the same reason. Managing dementia is already overwhelming. The repeated mistakes, poor communication, and lack of preparation made everything harder. We've transferred her care elsewhere.
