Or else I can see another doctor at his practice! If it is a medical reason he cannot see me for 6 weeks after my shot, then I should not be able to see anyone else either! If it's not a medical reason why he cannot see me, then what changed in 10 days? I asked the front desk why am I being told literally 2 minutes before my appointment that he doesn't want to see me. He had complete disregard for my time, and shows his character on how he treats people. I informed this person that they are approximately 250 miles away and from 2002-2003. I asked for a referral that may see me (since I needed help then) without needing past records. They gave me three - I called them all and took the first appointment available, however this Doc (a.k.a. quack) thought me a waste of time and was zero help. So, with the understanding that if I wanted to visit posmc I needed to get medical records. So I went to work... almost five weeks worth of work to get the records to me. Did I forget to mention that I needed to see someone five weeks ago and have been in pain and limited use of limb? I call today to schedule an appointment. No mention of needing medical records, so I asked if something had changed. Quite rude as if I had interrupted her day; 'Sir, unless you are on Medicare/Medicaid we do not require records'. Wow, what a surprise! Just to verify we were on the same page I explained what I had gone through and want to make sure there are no further hiccups so I can get needed medical care. We schedule the appointment, she takes my info and then asks for only the group # and ID #. Explain no problem, I have it just not with me. She says she will book it and I can call back with those two pieces of info and we will be good to go. I get it and call back 5 minutes later and another ("very friendly") lady answers and says I also need the exact name of plan printed on the card (which I didn't have with me), the zip code listed on the card AND the exact co-pay. I asked if this was necessary at this point as I didn't have the info and have never been asked for that much info in the past... EVER! She of course says "yes, we need it now unless you want to be sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes when you get here". Was I fired because I hurt Sorin's ego, or was it because my sister wrote a bad review of HER experience? I have been a patient of NTINH for over a decade, and in the approximately 50-80 appointments, I was late by 5 minutes one time, and missed 1 appointment due to Apple's "wonderful" update that turns off the alarm sound if you move your phone. I paid the no-show fee without complaint as it was my fault. Second, I received a "certified mail/registered return receipt" that was absolutely not sent by either, I received it by plain, regular first class mail. Lying seems to be second nature to NTINH. I recently started Botox to treat my migraines. It has been, administratively, a nightmare. There was no pamphlet to explain what to expect or how it works. No one ever provided me with the paper aftercare instructions; I had to pick them up myself at the 6-week follow-up. Each time I scheduled an appointment, I was called before my appointment and told that I needed to move my appointment as Paige wasn't available on those days. Both times, the length of time between the call and my new appointment was too short for me to request an update to my time off, and I then had to involve my manager, making everything twice as complicated. Physically, my second Botox appointment was with Sorin (who was very condescending), and it was so much more painful than Ms Wolfe. The front desk staff, particularly in the Plano location, seem not to have evolved beyond high school mean girls. Elaine Timm is one of the meanest doctors I have ever dealt with. That sounds juvenile but holy God was she awful. Every time I went I dreaded going, and ended up with a stress migraine/headache. She withheld useful pain management information for over a year for some unknown reason. The only useful thing she did was suggest Ajovy/Aimovig, otherwise I stayed at status quo for the entire time I was with her. I called back to their main number and explained everything that happened, and they sounded highly confused. They put me on hold twice and explained that they don't know why they would transfer my care when I didn't request it. They said that my original appointment was still good and to come on in. I asked her to double verify this since I would be driving up there in rush-hour and pouring down rain, and I didn't want to arrive only to be told that the appointment actually was canceled and the doctor wasn't even there. She said that the appointment is confirmed, and I can head on up. Well, as soon as I park the car, I get a call from Ciara Clayton else saying that the appointment is canceled and the doctor is not even there! I told them absolutely not, I had already parked the car and was coming up. I get up there, and the first thing the Ciara does is tell me to take my tone down. I was using my normal voice! You could already tell she did not care whatsoever about what happened. In fact, she had the audacity to tell me that the first woman I spoke to told them that I was lying and told them something completely different! When I told her, let's get her on the phone and see who's telling the truth, she told me that was an aggressive stance and they're not going to do that. No one ever called me back to say that the appointment would be canceled, and they sent me multiple appointment confirmation reminders the day leading up to my appointment. Of course, she told me that they transferred my care to some unknown doctor without my consent and that Dr. Rehmani was not even in the office at the time! This is exactly what I told the first woman to make sure of before I drove in pouring down rain in rush-hour to get to their office just to find out that the doctor wasn't even there and the appointment was actually canceled. These people do not care about you or your healthcare. They have attitude, and you can see that they're already checked out as soon as you start talking. Look at all the other reviews about the front desk staff, and tell me I'm wrong. I'm reporting him to the medical board as well. This is so unprofessional, so outrageous, so incompetent, and patients should not be treated like this ever. I blew $400 just on bloodwork alone, and now I don't even have a doctor to review them with me.
