I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule about 3 weeks out. New patient paperwork was available online to streamline my check in. I saw Dr. Bartholomew. She was very friendly & thorough. When she found something that was just a little off, she was very reassuring that it was probably nothing but did encourage me to make an appointment with a specialist (and her office offered to make the appointment on my behalf). They have the latest equipment available and use it well. I choose to have the standard dilation instead of the retinal mapping (wasn't covered by my vision plan), but it's definitely a great option to avoid being in sunglasses for hours :) Very, very impressed! Im not sure which is the issue but I must've waited 5 minutes just to have a screen pop up for her. Also, every year I purchase a year supply of contacts. Every year im able to pick out a free pair of sunglasses, which is fantastic! And Im usually sent home with my brand of contact lenses solution that I use. This year, I didn't get offered either. I had to ask about the sunglasses. And by then I also felt like I inconvenienced them, so I didn't even bother to ask for clear care that I use. This place is top notch…read more I have been coming here for years. They never disappoint. Scheduling is easy, they have plenty of frames to choose from without being overwhelmed. They are even willing to see if they can get a frame that you may be interested in if they do not carry them - just ask. Most importantly, they will tell you the truth if a frame doesn't fit your face - match well with your facial features. I do not have vision insurance and realize that other places may be cheaper. However, you only have one pair of eyes. You should always invest with proper eye care when possible. Big chains tend to have revolving doors; staff changes, doctors change (not typically due to retirement) and most times, poor customer service. Advanced Optics is a place where you will always be treated with kind, dependable, and knowledgeable people and the products they sell are top quality. Advance Optics excel in overall customer service. One of my 1st pair of glasses I purchased here, I just recently had them put my new script in even though I did purchase a new pair of glasses.
