I recently moved away from Lehigh Valley and I am truly going to miss this place. Granted, going to…read morethe optometrist isn't fun...but Dr. Fedoriw is the best and most thorough optometrist I've ever been to. I started going to Dr. Fedoriw about 3 years ago. I wasn't satisfied with the optometrist I'd been going to so I searched my insurance providers list of specialists and found Dr. Fedoriw. On my first appointment, he found some depth perception issues that no one else found and I've had appointments every 6 months for well over a decade. I have a pretty strong prescription and used to suffer from frequent migraines (1-2 per week). Dr. Fedoriw performed tests I'd never had before and found the cause when no one else could. That thoroughness is not without a cost though. When you go, prepare to be there for a while. He's an older gentlemen and he's a slow mover...but he's the best optometrist I've ever had.

I have been going to Dr. Fedoriw for about 7.5 years. My vision dramatically declined over a 2-3…read moreyear period in my teens as a result of Keratoconus. I was referred to Dr. Fedoriw after my diagnosis by a specialist. Only after a couple of visits with Dr. Fedoriw, I went from living with terrible vision (specialists told me I was legally blind) to be able to see 20/20. Because of the work of Dr. Fedoriw and his staff, I was able to obtain perfect vision prior to going off to college. I was able to graduate with honors and receive a great job offer in Northern Virginia. I've been living in Northern Virginia for about 3 years now but still make the trip up to Allentown to see Dr. Fedoriw for my annual check up. Dr. Fedoriw and his staff's expertise, patience, and commitment to giving his patients the best possible vision is second to none.

I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule about 3 weeks out. New patient paperwork was available online to streamline my check in. I saw Dr. Bartholomew. She was very friendly & thorough. When she found something that was just a little off, she was very reassuring that it was probably nothing but did encourage me to make an appointment with a specialist (and her office offered to make the appointment on my behalf). They have the latest equipment available and use it well. I choose to have the standard dilation instead of the retinal mapping (wasn't covered by my vision plan), but it's definitely a great option to avoid being in sunglasses for hours :) Very, very impressed! I'm glad that my luck of the draw worked out so well.
