I'll start off by saying that everyone at Datwyler's office is very kind and I had a pleasant experience during my consultation. With that being said, I reached out to them later down the line after my consultation to move forward with getting a plan in motion for me. I called and was told that they would give my notes to Dr. Datwyler and someone would get back to me. I called back 3 times within a 2 week period waiting for a response and each time was told that they were waiting for Dr. Datwyler to review the notes and would get back to me. Never received a call back. I understand that my dental situation is complex, but I feel like I was not a priority for them. If they aren't interested in taking me on as a patient, I would respect them if they told me that, so I could move on and find another place to work with. It is frustrating to have your time wasted and still going on week 3, not receive a call back.

My original orthodontist was no longer in business, so I checked Yelp to find a good orthodontist nearby -- and Lucas Orthodontics had great reviews. Making an appointment was easy, and the staff were welcoming and professional. The technician who helped me was friendly and efficient, and the whole process went very smoothly. After taking photos of my teeth, they scheduled my follow-up appointment to pick up the new retainer for the following week. Overall, a great experience from start to finish. I'm glad I found this office and would definitely recommend them to anyone needing orthodontic care or a new retainer.

I was grateful they could accommodate me and get me seen quickly to fit me and order a replacement. In about 10 days, I had it and thankfully could move on without worrying about my teeth shifting. The office is pretty small but I appreciated the swift service and being able to get my new retainer despite not being a current ortho patient there. I've been seeing Dr. Walls now for a few years-he explains procedures well, is pretty gentle, and always has time for questions. And I have a lot of questions! Recently, I had a dental issue and he was able to get me in quickly, diagnose the issue, refer to an oral surgeon, and he contacted the surgeon to let him know I'd be contacting him to set up an appointment-thank you Dr. Walls! After the surgeon visit, i have a plan going forward for my implant with Dr. Walls so I feel good about it. His hygienists are always very good-they give good tips and are gentle.
