I had the catfish and yes it stacks up against all. JP at the front was so friendly that definitely set the tone. During our meal I wanted some ranch dressing. First time here. Tried to get the half chicken but they were all out so my second choice was the bison lettuce wrap. With Cole slaw. The Cole slaw was amazing fresh made great dressing. Although I included a gratuity there were no waiters working so other than delivering our food, we had to get anything we wanted ourselves. a terrible experience, I will never visit any mias Or carrabas restaurant again. the cashier treated my son and I like children, rushing him, snapping her fingers repeatedly at me to hurry (with no line at all, zero people), pointing both her fingers at my face repeatedly after being asked to stop politely and repeatedly, being frustrated my son didn't know what "everything" meant after rushing to pick something. I could go on, I really could, this is only the major points of this short interaction, but I'm still embarrassed that I had to leave my own birthday dinner, I let my boy eat with my parents. I left without ordering immediately and sat through the meal in the parking lot to avoid the embarrassment I felt for leaving, I only left so that I wouldn't snap at the girl in front of my family members And make them feel uncomfortable as the employee made me feel. my son didn't deserve to spoken to like he was stupid, and I certainly don't normally EVER tolerate someone snapping and pointing fingers In My face for something as trivial as trying to decide what to eat for dinner. I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't Johnny Rockets on steroids. I guess I was expecting a sit-down-get-waited-on kind of place that offered more farm-to-market food. The food was good but expensive for what it was. Not somewhere that I would want to go back frequently nor would I want to go on date night. Husband and I had a buffalo burger wrap, it was good however the onions kept making a repeat appearance all night long. Nice they offer sweet potato fries. My husband had a chocolate malt that he has been searching for without luck till this place offered it. Friend had the fried chicken which looked outstanding, huge portion and another had hamburger. Food is always wonderful and the portions are huge! The customer service is always great! The ambiance is also very nice. It's perfect for a family but spread out enough for a nice date night/lunch. This has quickly become one of our favorites. We have tried several different menu items, and they are all fabulous! The jalapeño cream gravy is not spicy hot to the point that it detracts from the food. Chicken fried chicken is amazing! Great burgers and patty melts. Honestly the food was decent but overpriced, and after this experience with Jorge the manager in charge, I ban referring or ever returning to this establishment. I have a son, who is allergic to shrimp, and before my son took his first bite we asked one of the food runners to verify if the chicken fried steak is fried in the same oil as the shrimp. We watched this sweet runner named Tyler go up to the horrible manager Jorge with our own eyes as we sat right behind the food station and saw Tyler ask, and the manager said no, it's not fried in the same oil. Meanwhile my son gets half way through his chicken fried steak and starts getting symptoms- upset stomach, itchy throat, lip swelling! I told him drink water stop eating. Planning to take him home to get Benadryl but was still waiting over 35 min for our Togo order that we were told would be brought to the table but instead was sitting on the go order stand for at least 20 min. My other son even went to the counter to check if food was ready 20 min in, and they said it's not and would bring it to the table. Poorly trained staff. When I asked the manager why he told Tyler no if he knew the fries was the only thing fried in separate oil, he said miscommunication! Ok at this point I'm trying not to go full blown Karen here, but this is a safety issue! This is not miscommunication! This is an act of negligence! It was so frustrating! He disappeared for a good 5-10 min then came back with an incident report and asked me what else I want from him! I'm like to own up to your negligence! This is not ok! He continued to not understand the severity of his behavior! I'm a nurse, so if a patient asked me if a medication I'm about to give them is in the same drug class as a medication they're allergic to and I tell them no and give it knowing it is in the same drug class, the patient has a reaction, then guess what there goes my license! What if another customer comes here and specifically asks about how they prepare their food because of an allergy, and they tell them it is safe when it's not and serves it anyway! This is not okay! I have to stand up for what is right! I hope the right people see this and do something to make this right before someone else gets hurt! read more

Swing and miss... Worst meal I've had in some time. My wife and both ordered the kickin (fried) chicken sandwich. I assumed it would be at least as good as Popeye's, Kentucky Fried, Willies Ice House etc.... Nope, not even close. I'd equate it to what I'd expect from Dairy Queen (never eat there/might be better). A super thin previously frozen pre-breaded patty that's 80% fried crust. Add the bun and you might be able to see that thin line of white stuff in the middle of your sandwich and can assume it to be chicken... Came with a side of previously frozen fries. Add one drink and a water and $35 later you'll be full of regret. read more
