Miami Valley Gaming SEVERELY DROPPED THE BALL for New Years Eve party. Not sure who makes their staffing decisions, but the lack of bartenders ruined our experience! We, along with every patron trying to get a beverage on New Years Eve stood in crazy LONG lines what seemed like at least half our time. This was due to 1 or maybe 2 bartenders trying to serve 100's of patrons out to celebrate the New Year. 100% could have had at least 2 more bartenders at the center bar a 1 more in smoking section. The "1" bartender in the smoking section did her best, but was overwhelmed just as the center bar. Very poorly planned knowing that the casino would be packed!!! The DJ/dance area was done well. Sidenote: There were more employees working at Waffle House down the street than there were Bartenders at the Casino. Silver lining the long lines kept us from playing slots, and losing more money. read more

This place used to be so much fun. My wife and I went at least once a week for a good while. We would take $200 each and would usually end up having hours of fun. We never won big, but we had fun. We got free games and bonuses all the time. Once again never major payouts, but fun. We were certainly down, but didn't care because we were having a good time. Jump to the beginning of 2025, and it became a whole different story. We never win anything!! No bonuses, no free games, and definitely no money. On vacation from Hawaii, we stopped at the outdoor mall down the road from this casino. We were driving without intention and came across Miami Valley. Upon entering , you are immediately asked for your ID. They have free soda fountains throughout the casino. The bathrooms are clean, and the casino floor is clean. There is only one thing missing. They do not have table games. They only have smock machines. The majority are 1c machines. My husband and I were in here no more than twenty minutes. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place. Maybe call the locals in a bad community. But if you're looking for a gaming experience, you will not find it here. However, you do have unlimited refills of fountain drinks. And in between users, I saw the seats and machines being sprayed down and wiped. I felt very safe here. Bar was not open, and neither are drink stations or buffet (would anyone eat at a buffet right now?) Didn't try to order a drink from the machines, so can't speak to that. The bar staff was so very disrespectful to us. They talked to us rudely when trying to order drinks because we ordered for our party. We were told to come back multiple times and when we did we were informed we were cut off after 2 drinks in the span of 4 hours. The manager then rudely spoke down to us stating their staff was right and he trusted them and we needed to go play games before coming back and checking in if we could have drinks again. There is a huge selection of different slot machines, and some tables, with minimums rotating depending on the night. The restaurants here aren't anything impressive unfortunately. I recently came for a concert that took place in their event center. The event center set up was ok. It was very distracting to have TV screens playing on either side of the stage during the whole concert advertising upcoming events. The sound was decent, but at times suddenly became a bit off. K99.1 FM frequently does Country Concert for a Cause here and I would for sure come again, because it offers the opportunity to not only see several great country acts for $10, but also do some good. Normally a machine would have a sign on it if it had any maintenance upcoming. 0 out of 7 in the row had and sign etc. Understandably if it was box change out time no problem but not the case. I was outraged I asked to speak to a higher up and the head guy which I've talked to several times when I've won jackpots came out rude as could be. Tony and I was in the area playing tourist and enjoying the lovely Saturday and waiting for the flea market next door to open up. We had a little time to kill so, we opted to "TRY OUR LUCK" or I should say "MY LUCK" because he doesn't gamble at all. But, I always have him get a players club card so I can have the perks along with mine!!! I was strolling through the many slot machines, trying to find a favorite or two of mine but all the games were unfamiliar to me. For a brand new casino that just opened up, I think it's a dump. It's very open and nice, but the gaming is horrible. There are no table games, no video poker, the slots look generic, and alcohol way too expensive. I know that the slots are not rigged, but I felt like it wouldn't give me a chance to win or build up. Took a quick, "what else is there to do in the middle of the winter" Sunday afternoon trip down to this Casino, mostly to see if there was that much difference here compared to other area "hot spots." Well, no, not really, pretty much the same thing here as the Dayton Racino, it's just a ton of slot machines and, of course, horse racing, and (bonus!!) plenty of awesome people-watching opportunities...!! Parking's good, don't bother with the valet. Nicely designed entry, with easy to find customer service desk. We were spotted $10 when we registered as first-timers, which looks to be less than they used to offer, but it is what it is... To my VERY untrained gambling eye, the slots seem pretty standard, but I think the card system seems a bit less "user friendly" than Dayton or Columbus. There is a much larger, more comfortable area to view the horses (compared to the Dayton location), if that's your thing. Not sure why, but there were several children in the race viewing area, which I found odd... There's the usual, strategically located soft drink and coffee stations, usually found near the well-kept restrooms, and a gift shop and smoker's "lounge." Restaurants are nothing to write home about, but that's probably not why you're here. We just missed the $15.99 breakfast/brunch buffet, and went instead with a more reasonably priced "fast food" option. The Mr. had a fish and chips combo and I had the Asian salad; ok, nothing special. There's also a pricey Steak House and a coffee shop. We ate first, played the slots for a while, lost our $10, and headed home. El cheapo deluxe!! Not a bad place, really a three star experience more than the four I gave it, but... The reviews here were just toooooooooo funny!! How can you deduct stars from a casino when you lose money??!? Blaming the "tight" machines for your rotten luck?!? C'mon!!!!!!!! People wear masks when they enter, but remove them while playing. No one was monitoring this or taking any action.
