Lower level seats at the sides of the goal can be snagged for $65.00 + fees. If you are on a budget and dont want to pay $30.00 for parking at the arena, simply pre-game in the parking lot across the street for free have a couple beers and walk over. The beers in the arena will burn a hole through your wallet at $18.00 each plus tip. My wife and I attend four games per year and have a blast while never breaking a sweat.

I never had season tickets to the games but always accept last minute free tickets from friends. The pre-paid parking passes are like gold and almost as costly. The Hard Rock Stadium is a cool name but most of my experiences here were during the Joe Robbie Stadium banner. Fun times at the games where I only will splurge on a $20.00 can of domestic beer with an oversized salted pretzel. the atmosphere during the games are exhilarating whether up in the nosebleed section or down on the lower level fifty yard line. Their first season was the year I graduated from High School 1966! I've attended games at both the original stadium and the Hard Rock Stadium. It's hard for me to be a fan of any other Professional Football Team because my Father was a Dolphin's fan and my Uncle is still a huge fan. I might add that my daughter follows in their footsteps. I've consistently attended camp before they closed off the near parking garage for students; before the practice bubble; before the covered VIP bleachers; waaaay before Stephen Ross; toward the end of the Don Shula era On my most recent visit, I felt inclined to express how different the experience has become. Long gone are the days of a welcoming training camp; when I used to park right next to the practice fields. This event used to be open admission. Granted, we don't have to pay for tickets, but it's more of a hassle now. The practice bubble. Oh God, the practice bubble. A light sun shower started to come down & the team went inside for a "5min cooling break." A cooling break?! Give me a break! I get that the NFLPA is much more active nowadays & may perhaps have something to do with it. But damn. The pansification of football extends to the training camp experience. Two-a-day practices used to be open to the public. The media is now covering from the stands. Blocking spectators from their views. What the hell is that about?! They used to be confined to the one maybe two towers on field. Where are these fools coming from? Ugh. Despite all this, I will still come out & support my team when I can. But damn. I can't really say the changes have been for the better when it comes to the training camp experience.

I know, it's not Heat, Dolphins, Marlins, or even Panthers. It's the Florida Launch, South Florida's own professional lacrosse team. Playing eight home games a season at FAU in Boca, tickets can be well below twenty dollars a piece. Not familiar with lacrosse? In many ways it is the oldest and newest sport around. Lacrosse was played by Native American Iroquois in the Northeastern United States. At the same time it is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States right now, especially in youth athletics. It seems that every new person I meet has their kid in lacrosse! I think you have to actually watch a lacrosse game to appreciate it. The kids love it because they get to pass the ball with big sticks. It has elements of soccer and hockey. It is fast and physical, usually with more scoring than hockey and baseball. The Launch, started by Casey Powell, one of the best lacrosse players ever, had their inaugural season in 2014. The crowds have definitely increased this year, although I can't say they are filling half of lower bowl at the FAU stadium. It is a fun family event for the kids and anyone who lives or is interested in the game. I am always impressed that the the players always take lots of time to sign autographs after the games. Sometimes they can be there for an hour signing the kids' balls, hats, shirts, and even sticks! It certainly makes the kids even more enthusiastic about coming to the games and gives the whole experience a true hometown, warm, "feel good" experience. Perhaps some of our other professional sports teams could learn from that! The Launch has done a better job of marketing this year with ticket packages and youth clinics. Believe it or not you can check out their games and other MLL games on ESPN! If you like what you see, you may want to come and check out a game in person. There are two more games left for the season...and then there is always next year!

During that time, I attended Game 2 of the 2005 Eastern Conference semifinals versus the Washington Wizards; a 108-102 Heat victory led by Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem. I bought a "Wade County" T-shirt and it was one of my favorite T-shirts. The Heat would later go on to win their first NBA championship the following year (2006). At that time, little did I know Miami would deliver the most heartbreaking loss of my NBA fandom seven to eight years later in Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals. That was the Ray Allen three and the Heat surviving, 103-100 in OT, against the San Antonio Spurs. You see, I was a diehard Tim Duncan-era Spurs fan. But, as Tim said himself after the Spurs won the 2014 title, winning in 2014 made 2013 okay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cHiM4WFpV4 Props to D-Wade, Pat Riley, Erik Spoelstra, and the Heat for winning those three titles in 2006, 2012, and 2013. Shout-out to Chris Bosh, out of Georgia Tech (my alma mater), as well. As much as the Heat were the Spurs' nemesis in 2013-2014, I did think it was impressive how they successfully constructed a roster to complement the Big Three and go to the NBA Finals all four years (2011-2014) of that era. Also, shout-out to Bam Adebayo, who scored 83 points earlier this year (2026), breaking Kobe Bryant's 81 for second-most points scored in a game. Bam played high school ball in my hometown: High Point, North Carolina.

Overall, Loan Depot Park is a very nice facility. Lots of detail went into the park and I really enjoyed my times when catching a Marlins game. Not in the most convenient location as mainly a residential area, but parking is easy with a $20 flat rate with the park entrance right as you exit the garage. Total benefit with low attendance as you get to pay a reasonable price for great seats. Best of all, it's an ease to walk about the stadium and enjoy the many outlets serving drinks and food as well as merchandise. Plenty of areas to catch the game from any and all angles which is awesome! We dined at the bullpen bar and grills which fills up quickly with limited seating but offers great views near left field to catch the game while you dine and drink. Basic bar food is available but we got the Parrilla grill platter which overall was disappointing with chewy steak served which can probably give someone a jaw cramp! Overall, very nice facility to attend and take in a good Marlins game when you get the chance
