So many fun memories from every Florida Panthers game. Having an ice cold beer at the Funky Buddha bar or hanging out in the Jameson Crossbar during intermissions. Bought a few Panther jerseys over the years but on eBay to save a few bucks - the store at the arena is high retail prices. Plenty of lower level seats rows 15 - 25 bought on Seat Geek for under $75 including fees. We always try to get tickets just above the glass edge for optimum views. Had fun at every game and caught a FL Panthers shirt thrown from the ice. I love the close scoring tight one point games instead of a blow out making them much more exciting. read more

Watching Florida Panthers at the Amerant Arena is an awesome experience. We do not have season tickets although the best method to grab cheap tickets is to wait for season ticket holders to place their tickets on Seat Geek the night before the game. Lower level seats at the sides of the goal can be snagged for $65.00 + fees. If you are on a budget and dont want to pay $30.00 for parking at the arena, simply pre-game in the parking lot across the street for free have a couple beers and walk over. The beers in the arena will burn a hole through your wallet at $18.00 each plus tip. My wife and I attend four games per year and have a blast while never breaking a sweat. read more

The team was founded in 1993 and is now owned by Vincent Viola, who's clearly passionate about the franchise. They play at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise a great venue with an exciting atmosphere. The Panthers are very active in the community, supporting youth programs, education, and health initiatives. From their first Stanley Cup Finals as a very young teams appearance in 1996 to finally winning it last year, the team has shown amazing growth. This season, they've got a strong mix of experienced tuff guys and young talent definitely an exciting team to watch. If you're in South Florida, I highly recommend catching a game. Action packed and a lot of fun! Be ready to hoot and hollar for our Florida Panthers! The night we went the game went into overtime and they won. So that in itself was exciting. Especially because we had out of town guests that had never experienced a hockey game. Parking can be far. So if you have someone that has challenges walking far, pay the extra to park closer. What a fun game! We stopped here to see the Islanders play on our way down to the Keys, and it was great to see all of the fans from New York. We like to see hockey in different cities, and FLA puts on a good game. It looks like there are not any bad seats here. I grew up going to hockey games at the old Miami Arena. I always thought they were so much fun no matter where we sat. We recently won two tickets right on the glass behind the goal and it was probably one of the best experiences ever. Being that close to the action is awesome! Although the team didn't win I felt that the whole organization put on a great show. From the music to the interactive games they play with fans during breaks I feel like everyone had a great time. Lots of people were smiling and in great moods. It was just a vibe of good energy. My husband has never been a big hockey fan but even he said that we needed to buy tickets for next season. 3/12/2018 - I was invited to watch the Panthers after my friend Lindsay Y. won tickets through Yelp. What a fun night. The tickets were awesome. The venue is beautiful. We were in the 100 section, pretty close to the action. The seats are very comfortable. Bring a jacket of course as it is for us Floridians....freezing. Stanley, the Panthers mascot was near us just banging that drum and getting the crowd hyped up. "Let's go PANTHERS, Let's go"!!! There are plenty of places to grab a snack or grab a drink. My favorite was the place called Sugar with tons of candy you can buy by the pound. It can be a bit on the pricier side. Unfortunately, the Panthers did not beat the Canadians this time but it was a very enjoyable game! What a great fan experience. My friend had a purse that did not fir the requirements to take in so she had to check it in outside. She was not happy about that. So keep that in mind when you go. Been a ticket holder for more than 20 years. The year after we won the Stanley Cup I was trying to arrange for my payments with the representative that handles my account . I lost job in March , and then had some major complications with things with my health . I spent 2 months in hospital. Many days after that trying to get back to somewhat of a healthy person. My representative was great trying to get management to bend after having been a season ticket holder for many years . They made up some kind of payment plan that I had to put a deposit down and paid in total by October. I promised to pay all in October. I had some monies coming in October but did not know when it was coming . They sold my seats . I guess loyalty is only needed when you're not such a great team . We enjoys going to the Hockey games. It's great fun and a wonderful night out. The stadium is clean and the food is great. We really enjoy the Panther games. The Panthers were honoring Stoneman Douglas this evening. Banners were lit up everywhere saying MSD Strong. The names of the victims also were lit on the ice. It was quite an emotional time. One of the players, Roberto Luango,who lives in Parkland gave a wonderful speech. The 50/50 raised almost $100,000 and profits were going to MSD. The last few minutes of the game were very exciting as the Panthers were behind,then scored two goals which allowed them to win the game. read more

This review is for the great fan experience the team provides and their excellent customer service. The Florida Panthers are one of the only sporting events left in South Florida where you can take your family to a game without breaking the bank. Yes, seats right next to the glass might be very expensive but there are plenty of reasonable ticket options. On the plaza before the games, there are tons of games for the kids to play. They can even play hockey in a little rink. Just make sure they are wearing sneakers. During the game, there are plenty of fan participation activities, t-shirt giveaways, and fun mascots. We did have an incident last year where we bought my two boys and their friends an "experience" with the players It did not work out on the night it was supposed to and we were very upset. This could have left a very sour taste in our mouths had it not been for Delwin in Group Sales. I have to commend Delwin who made everything up to us. He truly went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Superb customer service! We are eagerly awaiting next season! read more

I was in town for business and was very fortunate to be able to squeeze in a hockey double header (the Devils and Sabres both visited the BB&T on back-to-back nights). I've been to NHL games in six different cities and visited three different minor league hockey venues this season and I can honestly say that the Panthers offer an exciting product on the ice that is every bit as good as the teams up north. Barky, Huby, Trocheck, Bjugstad, Malgin, Eks, D-Mac an the rest of the Red&Blue are a well-rounded, highly skilled squad, and the Luongo/Reimer duo is as good of a tandem as you'll get in goal. Oh, and Haley will most like be chuckin' knuckles and having some poor opposing player spittin' chiclets before the end of the match. Watching NHL games always takes me back to the days of my youth, when hockey legends roamed the earth and filled my backyard, PVC-pipe goal afternoons with dreams of hockey greatness. It's time to share those unforgettable moments with a new generation. Floridians need to get out en masse and support this team. The BB&T is a great hockey arena, and offers a top-notch hockey experience. There's no excuse for the thousands of empty seats even as the Cats are in the midst of a serious playoff push. First, the parking for the stadium is 20 dollars. You have the option of parking across the street at the mall for free. It was my first time attending the panthers game, we won! Go panthers! Beer, they serve coors light and yuengling. There weren't many vegetarian or vegan options, I ended up getting a pretzel. What a great night! The outside weather was perfect upstairs waiting for the doors to open. Going through the metal detectors was a piece of cake as there was no lines. The scanning of my ticket worked perfect and I was inside headed for my seat. I made a pit stop along the way to use the bathrooms which were very clean and then discovered that being that it was a Thursday night, some draft beers were only $5.00. Big bargain for a sports event. I was seated in section 124 and it was right above where the Zamboni comes out. Great seats but then honestly, anything in the lower bowl is a good seat. The arena was not packed and I felt bad for the people sitting so far up high with so many empty seats below. Wish there was some kind of accomodation that if seat holders don't show up by the end of the 1st period, then seats are open to all to move down. THAT IS ME JUST DREAMING! The Panthers did their best on the ice and the snow/ice scoopers on the ice in their cute Santa outfits were entertaining and I can't wait to go to another game. Ok, so hockey is not a big deal in South Florida. I get it, we care more about being outside in the beautiful sunshine and have less opportunities to skate on ice. That being said, the Florida Panthers games are sooooo much fun!!! They are super family oriented, affordable, with lots of family friendly activities on breaks and before the game. I had the opportunity to go the Stoneman Douglas fundraiser Thursday night, 2/22/18. (Thanks Yelp!!!) They went all out; raised $96,000 for the 50/50 raffle, about 10 full size blood mobiles working nonstop all day, huge banner for everyone to sign that will be hung at Douglas, and they sold MSD patches that are exactly what they wear on their uniforms; all proceeds going to the victims fund. They also removed all ads from the rink and replaced with MSDStrong for the whole game. Before the game began, they had touching speeches and moments of silence for the 17 victims. This was a super special night, especially since my husband and I are alumni from Douglas. The Panthers really care about our community and it shows. Also, the arena is spotless, easy to park, and tons of food/drinks options. Extra bonus - the bathrooms are actually clean! When you go, definitely bring a hat/sweater/scarf - pretty cool by the ice. It's located in an area that is hard to get to your forced to drive their and then your hit with a 35$ parking bill. I never was a big hockey fan until this past year. I wish I went to games sooner, because I love the Panthers now! Going to the games are so much fun at the BB&T Center. It's a beautiful place, and isn't that far from me at all. There's a lot to do here and you can bring all ages. Before the games, there's a bounce house usually outside for the kids and fun things to participate in. I definitely suggest bringing a jacket. It gets pretty cold inside during the games. I enjoy coming here for date nights. It's conveniently located right near Sawgrass and the Oasis. So there's lots of restaurants nearby if you want to grab a bite to eat prior. At the stadium, there's drinks and food provided also if you get hungry. The staff are friendly and very helpful if you can't find your seats or have any questions. Some tricks are you are allowed to bring in one unopened bottle of water per person, you can sign up on the lower lever to be a designated driver and get a free voucher for a water or soda. Always do a loop through the bottom level, generally theirs companies set up for promotions and freebies. There really is not a bad seat in the house. Club level is always good. We had such great seats with an awesome view. Section 108 seats 5 and 6 (thank you Yelp Elite!) Nothing but good vibes. General parking is $20, so if you do not want to invest in general parking then you can park right across the street at Sawgrass mall and walk on over. I'd also advise to eat before going to the BB&T Center as the food at the arena tends to be a bit pricey and overpriced for what it is. Besides that, nothing but good vibes all around. A friend of mine made the BOVA Panther Ice Dancers team this year, so I was given some free tix to attend the game on New Year's Eve. Wanting to come to a game anyhow, the fiancee and I were psyched to score the tix and have the chance to watch our girl in action. I love the energy that comes from attending professional sports games, but I have to say that the Panther Arena always blows my mind. :) The fans that go to games are really into it, which helps us newbies get into it with just as much spirit. :) The team itself is pretty good, from what we saw and inquired with other fans. The night we went, the rival team was Montreal, and the fans were ready for the rumble! We ended up losing by 1 point, but they were puck for puck all 3 periods. Its a nice arena, nothing too memorable. The location is near lots of shops and restaurants. If I remember correctly, there's an outlet mall nearby to kill time if you get there too early. Its in the middle of no where, so you will need to rent a car. We flew down to see our Ducks play the Panthers, and the next day drove to Tampa (which is a long drive, btw, so fill up your gas tank, and take money for the toll roads) so we chose to stay overnight Crowne Plaza. The hotel was located about 2 blocks from the arena and freeway close. Its a nicer arena than the St Pete's Times in Tampa. It sort of reminds me of the Honda Center, which shouldn't be a surprise since both teams came into the NHL the same season. Its now off my bucket list. read more

Grew up on the Kings, then followed the Sharks in the S.F. bay, and since I've been here I've been itching to get my hockey fix taken care of. Whether you're an existing fan of the game or not, you'll be sure to have a good time at a Panther game. The Panthers are a competitive and well coached team. The arena is great in how the seats are configured, they're set pretty vertical, so no many how many rows up you are; you're not far from the ice. We took advantage of one of their many existing ticket promotions. Get this. With the price of admission ($17), we got free parking, a coke, pizza, pretzel, AND a $5.00 gas card! No joke. I wish they played in Miami at the American Airlines Arena, but the free parking and gas card almost makes up for that. Next time I'll splurge and get some tickets near the glass.
