It is a historical day with the opening of a brand new sports arena! The inside is finished but unfortunately the outside still needs work as well as the parking lot. The inside is really mind blowing and absolutely love the colors. The Nu Club has a unique glass tunnel to see the players come out. On top of it are you have the west club and access to seats. The stadium is insanely large and like a labyrinth the first time! Very excited for what's to come!!

The roads and pathways to the stadium are still not finished but the parking garage and VIP parking are open. The construction teams, equipment and cranes that are building the Hotel and Entertainment district will be around for quite some time. The park is right next to MIA but you hardly notice the air traffic inside the stadium. Nu Stadium probably holds the record as the closest stadium to a major airport.

You can purchase to parking beforehand for a little discount or pay when you park at the garage. It's so easy to walk over to the stadium and there are several security lines and it moves fairly quickly. The team store right outside of the arena has a lot of cute options. There are also stores inside the stadium. Getting in and scanning your ticket is quick and easy. Once inside, you're welcomed by the fresh a/c. I love that the stadium is closed so you're not sweating the whole time. There's a ton of food options from baseball park classics, all the way to some Miami classics like pan con bistec and tacos. There's also really cute photo ops across the venue so it's very aesthetic. Highly recommend getting there with time so that parking is easier and you have time to walk around and explore the venue.

Miami Marlins Park which is at the LoanDepot Park…read more I finally got to go to a Marlins game and it was so much fun! I've been to this venue for a concert before and liked it much better for the Miami Marlins game. This venue is pretty big and I don't love parking at the garages. We usually opt for parking at one of the residential areas for a bit cheaper and to beat some of the traffic closer to the arena. The venue itself is beautiful and made baseball one of my favorite sports to watch. We were playing the LA Dodgers and there were so many Dodger fans but Miami showed out! We won the game for the Japanese Heritage night. I loved that they had a ticket package that came with special jerseys to commemorate the evening. I got to visit friends in different sections and each seat gave a pretty fun view of the game. There was a lot of levels, from the promenade that has a lot of food options, to the kids zone. It's such a fun area to watch baseball, eat good, or just have fun!

Shocked that this is a top #25 D1 school's volleyball venue. Our experience watching two top 25…read moreschools playing last Friday night was disappointing. My high school gym is larger than this Knight Sports Complex facility and I don't have to go out of the building to use the restroom! This gym is small, cramped and overwhelmingly loud (think rock concert) with the canned music blaring pretty consistently. Our ears were ringing when we left and we were angry we didn't bring our earplugs with us. There was no bag check, we could have. Bleachers on one side, plastic seats on the far side. Open seating. Because UM does not sell tickets, the line formed outside the building over 2 hours before match start. Doors opened one hour before. Security went down the line and stamped hands while people were waiting, probably counting how many were in line. The problem was that there were a lot of line cutters who then called security over to stamp their hands. Consequently, you end up farther back in line. There were more people in line than the facility held, so the overflow was diverted to a field where the match was projected. It seems like a pretty inefficient and ineffective system to me from a fans perspective. We drove over four hours to watch this match and I would have just stayed home vs. watching it projected in a field next door. Paid parking is available but you have to set up an account to register to pay. Do this ahead of time although the system did not recognize the location I typed in and the phone number went unanswered. This took me almost 30 minutes to reconcile the issue so I would not be towed. Just go see D1 volleyball elsewhere. There are much better experiences around.

As for the concession stands, the food options were limited and what was offered wasn't too great, Edie silly for the stadium like pricing. Hoping we pivot to another venue for next year.
