I absolutely love everything about Outrageous Bagels! I've been coming here with my family for…read morenearly 30 years, and now I'm bringing my daughter and continuing the tradition. Yesterday, we enjoyed an incredible lox sandwich on an Asiago bagel that was bursting with flavor and loaded with fresh ingredients: lettuce, sweet peppers, capers, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Every bite was delicious! It came with a side of potato salad, a pickle spear, and toasted bagel chips. We also enjoyed a wonderful cappuccino topped with whipped cream and cinnamon, such a treat! Of course, we couldn't leave without taking home a bag of their toasted bagel chips. I love that they're baked, not fried! Beyond the amazing food, what makes this place so special is how fresh everything tastes and how warm, welcoming, and family-oriented the service is. There's something wonderful about returning to a place you've loved for decades and continuing to make new memories with the next generation. Outrageous Bagels has been part of our family tradition for 30 years, and I look forward to many more! If you're looking for fresh, flavorful food and that genuine, family-friendly atmosphere, this is the place. Everything truly lives up to its name, outrageously delicious!

We were looking forward to having breakfast here, but unfortunately our experience was…read moredisappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet we felt rushed to place our order before we had a chance to properly review the menu. We ordered a regular American coffee and a cappuccino. At one point, I asked my husband if he preferred a mocha, and the employee immediately changed the order. I had to correct her twice and explain that we wanted a regular coffee, not a mocha. Despite that, we were served the mocha anyway. She made remarks as if I did not know what Mocha was, saying it was more delicious. For the cappuccino, I requested two Splendas. The employee responded that two was too much and said she would only add one, leaving me to add the second if needed. I found that unnecessary since customers should be able to decide how they like their coffee. We also ordered two Asiago bagels, one with cream cheese and one with the nova spread. The employee repeatedly explained that the spread did not include slices of nova, even though we understood what we were ordering. The bagels arrived untoasted, and we were never asked how we wanted them prepared. The nova spread contained several dark, veiny pieces of fish that were unappetizing and appeared to be of poor quality. I speak both English and Spanish, and communication might have been easier in Spanish, but the employee insisted on speaking English, which led to several misunderstandings throughout the ordering process. With so many good bagel shops in the area, I don't see myself returning. Sorry, but this was not a pleasant experience.

It's been a while since I've gone to a restaurant and the service and food quality was so amazing that it literally made me stop in my tracks but here we are! I started with a hot mocha latte. I am a coffee snob and this drink was made to perfection! Absolutely delicious and I didn't want the cup to end! It was the perfect balance of smoothness and warmth and it was sweetened perfectly! For breakfast, I decided to get the mushroom toast and it was amazing! I was skeptical about the ricotta addition but it was spread on the toast like butter, very plentiful and tasty! That along with the other ingredients used made it taste exceptional! Perfect price point too! I was more than satisfied! Last but not least the service by host staff and waiters was top tier. Very attentive and lots of smiles! They genuinely seemed happy to have me and treated me like a guest in their home. I genuinely can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu! Thank you for an amazing experience!

Especially being a special need parent it's something that crosses my mind a lot, "what will my son have". The little small touches from art work, book selection and seating was special. Music was a vibe as I remember walking in hearing Bob Marley "Three Little Birds" and then Stevie Wonder "Ribbon in the Sky." Yup! Already hooked lol the guy at the register (I wanna say he's the owner) was so kind. Gave great suggestions. I specifically got the chocolate chip muffin because he said he has one everyday lol I haven't tried it but I don't doubt it's good! My husband got a strawberry shortcake donut which was delish! In which they let me know it's from another business but I forgot the name, however, really good donut. For our drinks, I got an iced pumpkin latte and my husband got a honey maple latte. Both were perfect. Generous amount and perfect sweetness! So there's a really cute library in the back that catches my attention. I immediately go there as we wait for our order and picked out a book that I immediately start to read. As I'm reading, the owner (wife of the guy I believe I met at the counter) says I can keep the book! Excuse me what?! I was so happy lol what a gem of a coffee shop. I'll be back to enjoy their other menu items as they also have warm breakfast items etc. Lastly, they also own Local Pie which is right next to it and it's also delish! Didn't even know it until I asked because the guy at the counter (so sorry I don't know his name) had a shirt on that said Local Pie. Anyway, go to both! You won't regret it.

Hello everybody and hard to believe that I have been coming to this traditional Jewish Deli for…read moreyears now and never written a review but here goes as I can tell you that they really deserve it. Lots of Lox Deli in my opinion is a jewel located in the South Dade area of Miami, nestled in the Pinecrest / Palmetto Bay area. Truth be told there are not many traditional Jewish deli's left in South Dade so we are very lucky to have them. This is a family owned business that has been turning out great New York style sandwiches and deli items for many years. You all know how much I love local businesses and we really need to support great local businesses as much as possible. One particular item they have on the menu which is not found in many places is their deli style Tongue Sandwich. Yes I know it sounds weird but it is absolutely delicious and very hard to find. Most of their food items such as their soups and slaws are for the most part home made on premises which means they are always fresh. The service and atmosphere as you can imagine is true to form, a little noisy with everyone talking and enjoying their food and the servers really do a great job of getting things going for you as quickly as possible. On this occasion, I ordered the vegetable soup and the hot pastrami sandwich, piled high with awesome pastrami. As expected, it was excellent and very fresh. Outside of the menu, make sure to checkout the specials on the white board on the main wall, as they always have some items that are not on the menu on that board. Parking should not be a problem as they are located in a strip mall on US1 and their tends to be plenty available; however, they do get busy on weekends and lunch time so plan accordingly. Overall, Lots of Lox really does an amazing job and I if you like traditional deli style food I am sure you will too. Wishing you all a great deli experience! Enjoy and Bon Appétit mes amis!

I only wish that I hadn't gotten spinach on my Benedict. I think that made it soggy. The restaurant has a diner feel and it's pretty comfortable. If you love bagels, love quality nova, love a great platter, love those pickles and cole slaw (best…read morein town!), fresh roasted coffee and love great service in a comfy setting, then Roasters N' Toaster is the only deli for you in South Florida. I've been coming to the Roasters original Pinecrest location for 26 years. And for most of those Ivan has been working Sunday mornings! Their bagels are always on point, which I usually request to be scooped and toasted (my technique is cream cheese first, then whitefish salad inside the scoop) and come in all the good flavors, but none of the not a bagel flavors. Their nova comes in multiple grades (regular and Acme(tm)) which is sliced by Florida's top professional "nova slayer" in such a way that it is just better than the best you'll have anywhere else. Their whitefish salad is the most classic and perfectly prepared I have had anywhere. The original Roasters is the only NY Deli in Miami that always lives up to the name.

Inside the restaurant was a little cramped but it did give old school New York deli/diner vibes which I really liked. We had a bacon egg and cheese bagel and I'm not sure the name of the other bagel we had. Everything was really really good. The portions are kind of big so also good to share. We purchased blueberry pancakes to go and those pancakes were humongous. Love this place but especially love the bagels.
