I absolutely love everything about Outrageous Bagels! I've been coming here with my family for nearly 30 years, and now I'm bringing my daughter and continuing the tradition. Yesterday, we enjoyed an incredible lox sandwich on an Asiago bagel that was bursting with flavor and loaded with fresh ingredients: lettuce, sweet peppers, capers, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Every bite was delicious! It came with a side of potato salad, a pickle spear, and toasted bagel chips. We also enjoyed a wonderful cappuccino topped with whipped cream and cinnamon, such a treat! Of course, we couldn't leave without taking home a bag of their toasted bagel chips. I love that they're baked, not fried! Beyond the amazing food, what makes this place so special is how fresh everything tastes and how warm, welcoming, and family-oriented the service is. There's something wonderful about returning to a place you've loved for decades and continuing to make new memories with the next generation. Outrageous Bagels has been part of our family tradition for 30 years, and I look forward to many more! We were looking forward to having breakfast here, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, yet we felt rushed to place our order before we had a chance to properly review the menu. We ordered a regular American coffee and a cappuccino. At one point, I asked my husband if he preferred a mocha, and the employee immediately changed the order. I had to correct her twice and explain that we wanted a regular coffee, not a mocha. Despite that, we were served the mocha anyway. She made remarks as if I did not know what Mocha was, saying it was more delicious. For the cappuccino, I requested two Splendas. The employee responded that two was too much and said she would only add one, leaving me to add the second if needed. I found that unnecessary since customers should be able to decide how they like their coffee. We also ordered two Asiago bagels, one with cream cheese and one with the nova spread. The employee repeatedly explained that the spread did not include slices of nova, even though we understood what we were ordering. The bagels arrived untoasted, and we were never asked how we wanted them prepared. The nova spread contained several dark, veiny pieces of fish that were unappetizing and appeared to be of poor quality. I speak both English and Spanish, and communication might have been easier in Spanish, but the employee insisted on speaking English, which led to several misunderstandings throughout the ordering process. With so many good bagel shops in the area, I don't see myself returning. Sorry, but this was not a pleasant experience. read more

I have had a bagel and lox sandwich from Skokie IL to Georgia and Miami and this was the best lox sandwich I have ever had. Lox, lettuce, cukes, sprouts, tomatoes, cream cheese, sweet peppers and red onions. Served with bagel chips, a pickle and potato salad. The sandwich had all the savory notes of a great sandwich. Lox was fresh and bagel, crunchy and chewy. My husband ordered an egg, bacon, cheese on a plain bagel. Was exactly that. The place is in a strip mall and they make all their baked items there. Today we had a hankering for REAL bagels, etc so a quick yelping in the area and here we are. It did not disappoint. It's FAMILY owned and run, so I had a nice long chat with the super friendly owners running it themselves. I also noticed them happily chatting up other folks. It's all good vibes here! They have been at it for 30 years?! It shows: When you know your business well, it's golden. They make their own bagels here. A nice little comfortable patio and it's all good. Longtime local staple and it is obvious why. I ordered off menu and they were happy to accommodate. Homemade bagels and fresh cooked omelettes among other things like bagel sandwiches, bubble tea and smoothies. They've clearly got something for everybody. On this particular visit, I wanted nova, onion and eggs, and they happily put together a nova and onion omelette for me. Along with the garlic bagel that made for a perfect Saturday morning meal. Service was outstanding and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The shop has comfortable seating, but we sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful spring day. Admittedly, I miss the New York bagels. I used to enjoy when I lived there but here in Miami we have the next best thing right here in Kendall. read more

Hey friends! I was in town for work & I Yelped best breakfast near me. Outrageous Bagels came highly recommended! I ordered a French Toast bagel as well as a Bacon, Egg & cheese on an everything bagel. The bacon, egg and cheese was amazingggggg! Toasted perfectly, bacon was crispy and extra cheesy just how I like it. The French Bagel was delicious! Went this past Saturday with a friend and we had high hopes. I ordered the open faced Nova Sandwich, portion was huge. Taste was good. But what made me take off stars was the cleanliness. RUDE! I ordered from Uber Eats. The employee calls me in a heavy Spanish accent that I can't understand. I keep repeating this, which she understands, but she keeps repeating the same thing. She finally states it in a way that I can understand and I tell her the substitution is fine then she weirdly goes in to tell me that they don't bake 24/7 etc. I asked why she was being sarcastic and then she tells me that I'm being sarcastic lol. Great first trip to this local place! Service was great, my order was taken quickly, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They have tables for Eden, but I noticed most people order to go. This place might make ok breakfast sandwiches but when you're called "outrageous bagel company" selling bagels like this is embarrassing. They literally taste like nothing. Paying for butter or cream cheese is almost pointless as there's barely enough to see. Speaking of which, strawberry cream cheese is just dyed pink regular cream cheese, no flavor....and they don't even use real butter. $10 for two tasteless bagels with almost no toppings? C'mon. This is another really good breakfast place in Miami. Located in Kendall, we came here on a Sunday morning around 9:30. I kept it simple since I wanted to see how good the bagels were so I got my favorite, a sesame seed bagel with butter. The bagel was excellent. I also ordered a blueberry muffin which was also excellent. It was moist, warm, and it didn't cheap out on the blueberries. I also had a cafe con leche, which was very tasty, which was a surprise since it's not a Cuban place. I would certainly return here for breakfast. My family and I have been going to Outrageous Bagel for about 20 years. We discovered it when my husband and I were newly married and were living in Kendall. We fell in love with it back then, but lives got busy and we moved much further south, making our trips less frequent for the last 10 years or so. Still, we managed to get there at least 5-6 times a year. Two years ago my daughter got braces and one of the foods on the do not eat list is bagels. She lamented over not being able to eat Outragerous Bagels for two years, but we promised her that the very first weekend after having her braces removed we would bring her back. Earlier this month the braces came off and that Sunday our first stop was here at Outrageous Bagels and once again it was delicious. My daughter was so happy to be able to eat her favorite egg bagel sandwich! My favorites are the Pumpkin Seed, the Sunflower, and the Sun-Dried Tomato bagels. And some honey butter or honey almond butter and WOW!!!! The bagels here are always fresh and delicious and so many different flavors. I have been recommending them for the 20 years we have been going and I absolutely still recommend them any chance I get. read more
