Turns out they know a lot of folks that my fiends and I know. We are one big family. I explained the situation and told them that my friends were great people and wanted to do the right thing. Sadly, the inspection revealed some surprises that were more than I wanted to take on. My friends swung by and were treated with first class service. With the truck on the lift, several of the hidden issues revealed themselves. Thankfully, they have a great 2nd option. For starters I found this place on Yelp. I was looking for a place that worked with high end cars and had good reviews. Well I realize now how he gets his reviews, he asks for them. While his customers are still in the honey moon phase when they just get their car back. Little do they know that all these guys do is put lip stick on a pig. It's been over a year now since my "repairs" have been done and my car is literally falling apart. The fender flares he painted are chipping the rims he customized also. The grill accents are coming off.. I literally brought this guy a list of things that needed to be touched up and after he got paid he just let my car sit there. I came back and confronted and told him he did absolutely nothing and he brushed me off. He ordered the wrong emblem for my truck (twice) and instead of ordering the correct one he had one of his fresh off the boat, probably not certified employees, hack at my car and slap some 3m tape on it and literally MADE it fit. He said he ordered replacement parts, like a new fender that I needed fixed but all he did was repair the old one so he can bleed both the insurance company and my wallet. He did this for the front grille and apparently some of the front bumper covers because I just came home and saw a piece sitting on the floor.. The back of the piece had the silicone they used to stick it on instead of ordering the new one. Take my word for it. These guys are seemingly professional but in reality a bunch of crooks. One said I had to remove the insects before the cleaning. Miami Detailing cleaned it super thoroughly, it is even nicer than when I bought it used at the dealership.
