The one-on-one attention, the ability to communicate clearly about what I want, and the overall quality of service have been a completely different experience. I do feel for the employees at this salon because many of them seem to be working very hard. However, from my personal experience, the service often felt rushed. There were times when staff members were juggling multiple responsibilities, including working the front desk while providing services, which made the experience feel less personalized. Unfortunately, I also had an experience where my cuticles were cut too aggressively during a nail service, and that was one of the moments that pushed me to start looking for a nail tech who could consistently provide the level of care and detail I was looking for. This review is not intended to hurt anyone's business. It's simply my honest experience as a paying customer. I always paid full price and tipped, and I expected quality work in return. Unfortunately, the nail sets I received did not meet my expectations, and in one case, I ended up removing them myself because I was unhappy with the results. If you're looking for a quick pedicure, your experience may be completely different from mine. But if you're looking for detailed nail work, I would encourage you to read reviews carefully and do your research before booking anywhere. At the end of the day, everyone has different standards and experiences. This was mine. I don't regret sharing it because I believe customers deserve to know what others have experienced before spending their hard-earned money. I walked in right before closing time and they were 100% customer service oriented and immediately came up with a plan to fix my nails. Shawn was incredibly gracious and helpful. Cynthia explained how she could correct the problem and did a fantastic job helping me choose a good color. She has an expert eye and offered helpful information. I let them know what I wanted done to my hands & feet, and they gave me a price. The lady who did my nails was friendly, and offered me drinks. When I was done getting my nails & feet done and went to the front to pay, they charged me $15 more than what they originally quoted me for the exact same service on my hands . I guess they wanted to compensate themselves for the drinks, but tried to say it was because of the shape & type of nails I got? (I asked for short, square acrylic nails because I'm a new mom) It was odd, but I didn't argue it. While the nail bar and service are welcoming and amiable, they might want to spend more time perfecting their craft. I was charged extra just to have my acrylic nails shaped, which is absolutely ridiculous. If I'm paying for a full set of acrylic nails, shaping the nails should already be part of the service--not an additional charge. I've never been to a salon where I was charged extra simply to shape the nails I was already getting done. On top of that, the quality was not worth what I paid. The underside of the nails on one hand was left extremely chunky and uneven, which made the finished set look poorly done. Between the unexpected upcharge and the quality of the work, I left feeling like I had been taken advantage of. Also they don't use tub plastic liners, I know it's not required, but from a client POV it reassures me it's clean and less probability of contamination.
