They don't have nail techs that can do very much. Requested an easy ombré and they had maybe 3 nail techs there and couldn't do so. So I had to leave to go to somewhere with more experienced techs. read more

Update #2: Due to three broken nails, I called inquiring a resolution. A kind lady answered the phone and insisted that I come in. So, I did. I was greeted by the same kind lady as well as a man. The man was quite helpful in locating the colors that needed to be replaced. The whole atmosphere of the facility felt lighter and the employees seemed in high spirits. In fact, things were going so well that I was considering giving Lavender Nail & Spa a second chance. However, as the three nails were essentially finished, one of the employees brought me their cellphone stating that the owner wished to speak to me. At first, I declined. Then, the call was transferred to speaker phone. The owner asked why I was in her salon and I replied that I was having my broken nails fixed. She then stated that she was going to call the police if I did not leave because I posted "slander" (in which she can sue me for) and by me being there I was "harassing" her... I simply paid, posted the review attached, and called today. There have been absolutely no other forms of communication. This interaction speaks for itself. However, with that said, everyone today was an utter joy and I am so disheartened that the owner felt the need to threaten me despite no wrongdoing on my part. *Note: There are cameras located inside of the salon. read more

I wanted to like this place based on all the positive reviews, but I ended up with the worst mani-pedi of my life. They spent maybe 30 seconds to remove cuticles and didn't buff or file the nails. The whole time they were rushing to finish even though no customers were waiting. Then they applied old nail polish with an uneven top coat. A friend of mine moved way out to Aledo and several us went out there for the weekend to visit her. We decided on Saturday afternoon to go get our nails done. Lavendar Nail and Spa was the closest place. We arrived and they were busy but seemed to be working efficiently. 2 of my friends were just getting pedicures, 1 was getting just a manicure/filling and I got both mani and pedi. The spot is new looking and very nice. Everything had the new look and feel to it. We were offered wine while we waited, which always makes waiting more pleasant. Once we they started on me I was offered a refill as well - much appreciated! The ladies that worked on me were awesome! They did an impeccable job. The skill and detail was perfect. I was amazed! My friends each had great experiences too with their technicians and we walked away talking about what an awesome job they did! The attention to detail that a nail tech has is the most important thing to me and the ladies here were on point! My friend that got her nails filled said that they did a better job than her regular girl! I am not sure if they are always busy or if it was the time of day or what, but if they are I know why! I came here on a Saturday morning and got right in.l without an appointment. I decided to give this place a shot after I read some awesome reviews online and I was not let down. My regular place has began to have little consistency and I always feel rushed. I do dip nails with an almond shape and the nail tech nailed it (pun intended). The nail tech asked me if I liked my shape and made sure he took his time and all my nails were the same length. The spa has a ton of colors to choose from, and they are sorted neatly.
