Here's the short version: If you are seeking an honest, trust-worthy remolding/construction firm - I offer my praise and endorsement for MIA Construction Services. Now for those of you interested in the details, please allow me to share my story with you demonstrating why I feel MIA Construction Services delivered 5-star service. I will spare you the particulars, but I suffered a year-long delay at the hands of an inexperienced, lazy and fraudulent South Florida contractor. I turned to Yelp seeking a remodeling company with a solid set of reviews. This search exercise introduced me to MIA Construction Services. I have to say I was very impressed during my initial contact with the Company. My first call to MIA Construction Services was picked up immediately by a live person - I did not expect that type of experience in this industry. I can also confirm that all communication throughout the project was carried out in a similar way - even on weekends. The young lady I spoke with was a clear communicator that efficiently setup an appointment for an estimate. The representative that arrived at my place on the prescribed date for the estimate was extremely polite, very professional, and overall impressive. This individual, which turned out to be the Owner of the firm, thoroughly gathered requirements asking for details and fixture specs that could significantly affect the scope and price of the project. In retrospect, this through conversation really helped make my estimate accurate without any "surprises" along the way. I also appreciated that the company understood the hesitation I possessed after being "burned" by the previous contractor. MIA Construction offered a payment schedule that secured payments only after demonstration of milestone accomplishment - this fact alone won my trust. Over the next 5-6 weeks, I grew to trust and appreciate MIA Construction Services more and more. I never experienced any anxiety letting the team into my home, in fact, I knew I could trust and enjoy each person I met. Obviously, the project encountered design challenges and nuances once they walls came down, but when any issues arose, MIA escalated the topic quickly and we used team work to find a practical solution. I know I shared many details, but the scope and nature of procuring remodeling services is not an easy subject. I wish you all the best on your next renovation! read more

Mía Construction Services did a full remodel of my apartment, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. It was a real pleasure working with them from start to finish. They took care of everything from city permits to selecting materials down to the smallest details. Yaniv got us a detailed quote super fast and sat down with us to go over everything, making sure it all matched exactly what we had in mind. They're a serious, honest, and professional company. Highly recommend if you're looking for a stress-free remodel with people you can trust. read more

We found Mia Construction Services here on Yelp to completely renovate our condo. Yaniv was incredible every step of the way. We were having the renovation done while we lived 1500 miles. He is good for his word. All of his subcontractors are top notch and so talented. Dealing with our city for permits and inspections is not an easy task. Yaniv was on top of every single task. Our condo looks amazing, better than I had imagined. If you are looking for a genuine, honest, contractor that has attention for detail, and is a perfectionist, he is your guy and this is the company you want to go with. read more

1) We needed an entire kitchen remodel down to the studs and new floors and talked to several contractors and received several quotes. 2) We went with MIA Construction and are glad we did. 3) Yaniv, the owner, showed us samples, gave us a detailed quote (not a one sentence quote like "Your kitchen renovation will be $X"), and went with us to several cabinet and counter top stores to help us pick the right kitchen. 4) Yaniv's prices are reasonable, not cheap, but you get what you pay for, ie a GC who is committed to making sure your project is completed on time and on budget. 5) When Yaniv says that he will call you at a certain time, he will call you at that time (not an hour later or never). 6) When Yaniv says that he will be somewhere at a certain time, he will be there at that time (or earlier and wait for you). 7) It was a long, elaborate renovation, but Yaniv was there every step of the way. 8) He organized everything and was at our house every morning at the agreed to time to make sure everything is ready to go. 9) He is honest, professional, and dedicated. 10) Go with MIA Construction, you won't regret it. read more

Renovations don't have to cause divorce! We're very happy with our gut renovation and never had a fight. Not with Yaniv & not with my wife. We redid ceiling, walls, floor, electric, bathroom, kitchen cabinets and appliances. Chose Yaniv if you want it done right. He won't ignore fire and other codes; he won't use crummy materials you'll regret in a couple of years. He works like he's doing the job for his own place. It was a little more expensive doing it this way. But totally fair. A meticulous contractor is hard to find. If you can, go with someone like Yaniv who'll really take care of you. read more

I want to recommend the highly skillful work of Yaniv Harari and his crew at MIA Construction Services. I hired them to correct the mess the previous contactor made of my bathroom. The crew striped and retiled shower and corrected the disjointed crown molding. I could not be happier with the outcome. Their workmanship was excellent as you can tell by my before and after pictures. I would not hesitate to refer MIA to anyone needing quality work. read more

Two stars because they showed up early for the estimate consultation, but I should've known when it took more than two weeks just to set up the estimate that this wasn't going to work out. I was told by Yaniv that my bathroom remodel was "too small" and they only do jobs "$10,000 or more". Too bad for them, because I also planned on remodeling my half bath, redoing all my closets and adding lighting and attic vents within the year. A smart businessman would refer the job to someone else and get a referral fee, not just turn it down and leave. Oh well! read more

Without any hesitation, I recommend MIA Construction for any projects. I am impressed with not only the quality of their work, but the quality of their character. Yaniv with MIA was thorough, respectful of our needs and delivered as promised. I found them to be very transparent. Their estimate was detailed and thorough. The workers sent in were respectful and did fantastic work. They were flexible when we wanted to make changes in the project. They kept close to their timeline and budget. I was also happy that Yaniv was always available to answer any questions. When surprises were found during demolition, Yaniv was clear as to what was found and made solid recommendations as to what we needed to do. MIA did a total remodel of our Master Suite and Den, as well as a number of smaller projects in our condo in Aventura. We couldn't be happier with the results. The included photos illustrate the quality of their work. read more

We have just finished the renovation of our two bathrooms, room addition for my new baby and kitchen renovation with Mia Construction. We are very happy with the result and the process itself. The bathrooms and kitchen look gorgeous and the room addition is exactly what I wanted, Keep in mind I just delivered a new born and it was important for us that the project would be finished within the time line. We interviewed several general contractors and ultimately selected Mia Construction because of Yaniv's enthusiasm and the fact that they where able to work with our targeted timeline. Yaniv was very knowledgeable and patient with me.... he was always on top of the project progress and texted/emailed/called me to maintain consistent communications. Throughout the process Yaniv's crews showed up on time, worked diligently, and were easy to communicate with. In particular the tile guy was very hardworking and detail-oriented. Towards the end of the project, a few minor items were not quite done to our liking. When we mentioned it to Yaniv, he had the crew fixing it right away and made it perfect. With all the horror stories you hear about contractors, we feel very lucky that we found Mia Construction Services and you will too! From A to Z this company delivered quality work, good craftsmanship, great communication and most importantly finished the job on time. read more

I bought my 2nd home in Miami Florida last year. It needed a lot of work, and to be honest, I was extremely nervous and overwhelmed having to look for someone to come in and do the work, especially since I live in LA and would be back and forth during the project. I spent a few days researching and interviewing several different contractors. Yaniv was the last person I met with, from the 5 different companies that came out to my property. I signed with him because he was very professional and listened to my ideas, understood what I wanted and gave me a fair price. I have to say, I can't imagine having any other person work on the house. From the beginning, he earned my trust by always texting me or emailing me with updates on the progress of the work. I've worked with different contractors here in LA, and not all are so easy to get a hold of! He was honest and upfront with me about the cost, and found a way to achieve the look I wanted without going way over budget. Like any other remodel, we faced some obstacles along the way, especially with me being out of town, but he always assured me that we would find a way to make it work. And it did. He finished within the original time frame (even with the bumps in the road!) and now everyone who comes by my place, has nothing but great things to say about how wonderful the kitchen and bathrooms look. I still have several projects down the line for my place, and there is no doubt in my mind, that I will be choosing him to complete the work. I highly recommend Mia construction services. read more

I recently had MIA construction do a major renovation in my Aventura apartment. The renovation included a bathroom, flooring, architectural details, and extensive electrical work. Let me put it plain and simple: these guys are fantastic and came through exceeding my expectations (which by the way are very high). First, Yaniv, the owner is a true professional and a real "mensch." He provided a quick, detailed quote, made sensible recommendations, and stuck to the budget. In addition to excellent work, he stayed right on target with the finish date, something that I have never experienced in working with contractors in all my previous residences. When we went through final inspection, the inspector told me that he gives the work a 10 for both quality of work and aesthetics. Yaniv, Yuri (his electrician), and the rest of the team are super super super. If you are considering work, have these guys come in. You won't be sorry!!!!!!! read more

It is extremely hard to find a qualified contractor here in Miami and I'm happy that I finally had my job done with Yaniv. Believe it or not my unit was vacant for almost 2 years because of my frequent international travels and mostly because I asked for many contractors to come over giving me a quote, but none of them seem to be trustworthy or professional. Unlike other contractor who disappear without giving you a quote, or gives you unclear quote that confuse you, he always appears on time (every single time), professional, and treat your place like his own property. I'm happy I did the research online and find Yaniv for my unit renovation, the result turned out to be great, I would like to recommend Mia construction to anyone that asks my opinion for a contractor. His price is not the best one, but when you see the result and how smooth the process goes, you'll not regret it, save your energy with dramas, conflicts that typically comes with home renovation and try it with Mia Construction. read more

Amazing experience from a professional and trustworthy team I initially found on Yelp! We chose Mia construction services to undergo an enormous transformation of our home built in 1967 into a modern architectural home. We gutted the entire home and redid the kitchen, 3 bathrooms and floors. Throughout the entire process , our questions and concerns were always addressed and our vision came to reality. Yaniv is very Particular and makes sure the project runs smoothly according to budget and time. Yaniv always sent us updates and pictures pertaining to the construction, we were never out of the loop. Go with Yaniv , you will be very happy with the outcome. He sticks to your budget and finishes the project on time with great quality and craftsmanship. Mia construction services is a one stop shop and they make your life easy and simple. Rude and unhelpful when contacted for a quote. I asked for help with replacing my floors. They kept fixating on the fact that the floors I was replacing were laminate, saying over and over "we don't do laminate floors" -- even though I expressly told them that I wasn't asking them to put in new laminate flooring. read more
