I have to say I was very impressed during my initial contact with the Company. My first call to MIA Construction Services was picked up immediately by a live person - I did not expect that type of experience in this industry. I can also confirm that all communication throughout the project was carried out in a similar way - even on weekends. The young lady I spoke with was a clear communicator that efficiently setup an appointment for an estimate. The representative that arrived at my place on the prescribed date for the estimate was extremely polite, very professional, and overall impressive. This individual, which turned out to be the Owner of the firm, thoroughly gathered requirements asking for details and fixture specs that could significantly affect the scope and price of the project. In retrospect, this through conversation really helped make my estimate accurate without any "surprises" along the way. I also appreciated that the company understood the hesitation I possessed after being "burned" by the previous contractor. MIA Construction offered a payment schedule that secured payments only after demonstration of milestone accomplishment - this fact alone won my trust. Over the next 5-6 weeks, I grew to trust and appreciate MIA Construction Services more and more. I never experienced any anxiety letting the team into my home, in fact, I knew I could trust and enjoy each person I met. Obviously, the project encountered design challenges and nuances once they walls came down, but when any issues arose, MIA escalated the topic quickly and we used team work to find a practical solution. I, for one, am a happy camper. From start to finish Armadi took care of me. It was a lengthy process from design, measuring, production to installation. But it all worked out wonderfully. Throughout, I was kept informed. I was also warned about potential misconceptions and unexpected issues. Evi, who I dealt with for initial consultation, design and measurements was my go-to contact. She kept me abreast of developments and walked me through the payment process. Evi also did and redid measurements numerous times in order to prevent setbacks. She even warned me once that some of the shelves would be produced in a different manner so as to avoid later surprises. At installation time, when an issue arose regarding handles, the company (Miguel?) came forth and redid AT THEIR COST all 27 faces for all of the drawers just to accommodate my wishes to use specific pulls that I had purchased on my own and would not fit holes made on the original faces. And they did this in 3 days, no-questions-asked! Talk about great customer service. During installation, I met William and Lindey who went to great lengths to make sure installation was perfect and to my satisfaction. Armadi is a large operation with many departments, teams of installers, dozens of delivery trucks and a myriad of customers (with much bigger closets than mine). So... trust the process. I am now the proud owner of a little piece of their showroom. In my master bedroom, I purposely left the walking closets without doors just so that I could look at the furniture inside each time I walk by. Heck, even my dirty socks smell wonderful in there!
