Nicole gave me her card and we exchanged emails going over what came to be my final design. This put me over the edge and decided to pop my tattoo cherry. I booked my appointment with her. She took great care when doing my ink explaining everything as we went through the process. I really didn't find it hurting as other people have said to me when they got theirs. One (of many) of his specialties are in fonts, for example, if you want a quote written on you, he'll do it in the font you want. It'll come out just the way it looks on a computer screen. He is really honest. If he feels the piece you want won't look good or if it is something he feels he cannot do...he will tell you. When I say "cannot do," I don't mean that he can't. Different tatt artists have different specialties. If he feels another tatt artist can do better, he will tell you. He doesn't want anyone with a messed up tatt. It's not about money to him. He is a true artist. He loves what he does and that love began when he studied art. It was all business for me when I first came to his shop...now he has become an actual friend to me. I have 5 tattoos done by him and he's done fill-ins for other tatts that I have. He had an apprentice there at one point. He was good as well. His name was Billy. He designed a tatt for me and did a fill-in for me. If anyone has anything bad to say about Chung...it isn't true. Know your artists and know what you want--I recommend. :)
