Been coming to this spot almost every week- really love the food here. Always have the same waitress and she is always attentive and responsive when they are delayed in the kitchen. So sad I don't know her name (but ill stop by to see if shes working), if you ever do go I'd recommend having her as a waitress.
Today was my first and possibly my last time ever coming here. My server today was Lily (or at least thats what it stated on the receipt) and let me tell you she has a nasty degrading sarcastic attitude. At first reading the review about 'bad service' seemed out of pocket because the prior waitress was so attentive and kind. Well at least i know today I probably met the waitress the comments were talking about.
From the jump you can tell she's just there for a check not tips. She was unfazed at not approaching- stayed at the register chatting it up with the so called manager (hope he is not really the manager because he has poor communication skills). I placed two orders for the table and two to go (again, has never been a problem) and i was served both orders in one large plate. I asked for another plate as there are clearly two people at the table and she removes the small disposable container that held the toppings and told me to use that... and walked away before i could even ask why is everything being brought to the table as to-go, meanwhile the other table behind me and front of me were receiving the toppings in there usually platters. Had to ask every time she passed by for something because she kept bringing one of everything instead of being proactive. Two people- two plates, two sets of toppings, bare minimum of two napkins...like come on basic math. There was lack of common sense and care, it was constant eye rolls and sighs. Didn't bother bring the check or our to-go order; another waitress who seemed to be the only one really running around with the other three table dropped it off. Loved the nice touch of letting us know that tip wasn't included at the bottom of the receipt (Clearly your service demonstrated you couldn't care less).
I did question her on my to-go order because it was not made correctly and she kept rolling her eyes as I was explaining that it's wrong. She eventually takes the plates to the back and came out all upset with the so called manager. This man proceeds to explain that they never make accommodations on meal prepping (yet last week and prior times I've came- adjustments were made since they are supposedly made fresh, there is never a problem but now this makes me doubt the certainty of it) he also proceeded to roll his eye when he looks at the waitress. At this point i wasn't gonna bother with either useless employees. She ends up walking away smiling and sarcastically following up with a sweetie is there anything else? And skips away.
So sad to have to consider walking away- but the so called manager made me doubt the authenticity of the food being provided. Tips for them both- learn to keep you personal life and business separate or at least try to act like adults and keep it professional from the front and talk shit behind the register or kitchen.
Not sure if the owner reads this but it's a fair warning for any future customers. I'll definitely update when I find out the good waitress name. She's honestly makes the long wait and experience worth it. read more
