I Placed an order through DoorDash- 2 mulitas, 1 torta, 1 taco de asada & 2 tacos de papa con chorizo. 1. Food arrived cold! 2. Food was dry & bland! 3. Food prepared incorrectly! 4. NO SALSAS were provided. Zero salsas!!!! I was furious. How the hell can you eat Mexican food with no salsa?!! All the food was overcooked, bland, no flavor. I hope this place gets shut down! Don't listen to the bad reviews, this place definitely deserves a higher rating. The ladies at the counter were friendly, and the food came out quick. There's a ton of seating inside to enjoy your food and it felt like a warm atmosphere. I ordered a chicken burrito supreme and horchata. The horchata was delicious. The burrito was good but they definitely did not put hot sauce on it like it said in the description which I think would have helped the flavor more. Next time I'll just order with hot sauce to make sure they put it on the burrito. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. After placing my order, I waited about 20 minutes before asking how much longer it would take. The staff told me they were backed up and needed a few more minutes. Since I had to pick up something across the street, I let them know I would be back shortly. When I returned, they again told me my order wasn't ready yet but would be out soon. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited another 10 minutes. When I asked again, the staff seemed confused and couldn't figure out what had happened to my order. They started blaming each other, and in the end, they were unable to provide my food at all. I requested a refund, but I was told they couldn't process it because only the owner or manager had that authority. They gave me a phone number, and after calling three times, she finally returned my call. She apologized and confirmed that my refund had been processed. While I appreciate that the owner eventually handled the refund, the overall experience was unacceptable. The lack of communication, poor organization, and customer service were extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that I will not be returning to this establishment, and I cannot recommend it to others. read more

I was so happy to find a Mexican restaurant with a drive through! This one checked all the boxes. I ordered the 3 taco number with a chorizo taco added (86 onions) it also came with "salad" which was lettuce, beans and rice. It must have been the cheese, and I complaint for my friend since he's not much of a complainer. The lady is like "sometimes the cheese tastes different, is runny, or thick." Menudo was good. I don't know if the lack of hominy was due to the pig feet. I was disappointed with the proportions of hominy in the broth. I had the pig feet along with the menudo which was ok- not great.The condiments were a perfect balance. Agua fresca jicima was delicious. Staff was not to friendly or service oriented. Ive called and they either talk over you, are speaking to someone on the side or have you hold or even hang up and when you try calling back the line is busy. My encounter with Maria an older woman that works there was horrible. Saturday I was near by and decided to call in, she is so rude over phone was speaking to someone else didn't even ask me to hold, I was saying my order I heard her speak so I said " I'm sorry". She said no go ahead. I repeated my order but kept hearing her speak didn't say anything about just ordered my food and said "that's it". She didn't even acknowledge she said "I'm ready". I was shocked I tried calling again and no answer I literally called a lot of times ( I was driving there) within 15 mins the line was "busy". I got there and asked who I spoke to on the phone she was extremely rude even before me explaining the situation. I told her there was no need for her to be so rude. Mi Ranchito Catering Truck at the AV Alta Game 8/16. Hispanic male orders the $10. nachos and gets a box filled to the top with chips, cheese, beans and covered with meat. Cool. Really enjoy coming to this location the food is great and the service as well. The traffic in here varies they have slow and busy days . The cooks step up to give your food if the ladies are busy helping with orders. For that reason I would hate to rate this location poorly over one employee but Nancy "that's what our receipt said" from this location needs to be retrained on her costumer skills as she's extremely rude and unpleasant . I honestly thought us asking what agua fresca was on the window set her off but NO! she was rude to everyone she took their order from. I have given this place too many chances and I've only stayed loyal to them because I grew up eating here but now it's time to find an alternative Mexican food spot. I did not get what I purchased. I was missing salsas, chips, & sides. I've placed this same order several times on the DoorDash app and they have all come different & missings things every time. I'm never getting what I'm paying for when I order from here. Even when I go in person, the staff is so rude and not helpful. This is my final straw with Mi Ranchito. But then their are times like tonight where the food was excellent, the salsa was amazing and the service above and beyond! We were on Yelp looking for something nearby for dinner. We decided Mexican food. I placed my order on the Yelp app which in turn turned out to be GrubHub. Everything was smooth until I went to pu my order. Their Grub Hub machine was not working so they did not have my order. I showed the cashier my receipt in my email she quickly got our food made and we enjoyed every delicious bite. In the past I have loved my local Mi Ranchito. I always order the same thing their Burrito Supreme with no beans. Today I went there after work and ordered what I have always ordered in the past only to be told that I could NOT order without beans. If I wanted a burrito without beans I would have to order the ALL Meat Burrito. I explained that the Burrito Supreme has guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, and lettuce that the All Meat does not. The pico de gallo tasted mostly like raw onions. I also got a combination burrito which wasn't good and honestly was smaller than I expected. I also ordered the birria and chorizo 2 of each the chorizo wasn't bad but I had to keep a lot of sour cream on it to eat it. Birria taco was bad it just didn't taste right, the texture was very chewy/rubbery and with the flavor it just made me feel uneasy so I didn't finish it. The price for everything was pretty expensive for what it was. I'd say if you're looking for something to eat just skip this place and find another. I have noticed that both locations in Palmdale the one on 47th & S & the one on P by the Mall both sell this small burrito & the one on Ave J & 17th East is wayyyyyyy better. Size & quality! And Gonzales is better than both those locations & you don't have to order a supreme burrito to get sour cream, cheese, & extras. The AV has become a hit & miss shit hole for food. read more
