They have lots of tv screens to watch games, fight, novelas by day. With that, prices are a bit above average which causes my star, I know of other popular Mexican spots with similar Ambiance of the multi-colored hand carved chairs, for a bit less prices on the menu. We usually like coming here to eat. Never had a bad experience till the last time. Came here last week Thursday on Xmas. There was not many people there and a lot of waitresses. The waitresses were too busy hiding in the back having their own party. Being on their phones in the front. We had one waitress with glasses. She was so terrible over the waitress. Our waiter was quick and did a great job ! The only reason I cannot give the restaurant of five star was due to the entertainment. They have different people walking around the restaurant offering services,we got our photo taken which I thought was cute and an accordion player walking around offering different people to sing songs with him which I think is awesome. It makes for a great experience but when the accordion player asked to play a song for me, he sang one song and then charged my date $20 for it. I found that to be extremely rude and super stiff simply because he did not tell us beforehand and I couldn't buy pictures we took because we just spent $20 on one song. I think the entertainment should be honest with the customers so we don't feel like we're being tricked into having to pay for such an unnecessary charge . Got invited over to try this restaurant by a family member with my boyfriend. The restaurant had a live bands playing there that made it very hard to hear what my family was saying. The server was very nice and she came to check on us a lot. The food did take a while to come out, but at least the food is fresh. The first bite of the food was heavenly. It's like an umami bomb that went off in my mouth. It was jammed packed of flavor and well seasoned. The carne asada was tender and juicy! The pollo con tajas de crema was pretty good on its own, but not the best. I could tell that their specialty was meat and seafood. If you want some bomb steak with tortillas made by hand with some good salsa, give this place a try. They also offer a variety of drinks and aguas frescas. I came in for breakfast and was instantly struck by the atmosphere - hand carved wooden chairs and booths, all custom-made in Mexico, colorful decor, and a festive energy that feels warm and inviting. It's a kind of place that makes you slow down and enjoy being there. I ordered the CHILAQUILES Verda con Huevo and steak, and it was comfort food done right. Crispy corn, tortillas, sautéed and red sauce, tender steak, perfectly cooked eggs, and flavorful, sautéed potatoes with onions and peppers. The mango juice was fresh and bright a perfect pairing for my breakfast. What really impressed me was the staff. They are friendly, genuine, and actually engaged. The menu is huge and they take the time to help you choose instead of rushing you. I'm already planning on my next visit for lunch - the deep fried whole red snapper it has rice beans cucumber, avocado, pico de gallo it just sounds incredible. Chiles rellenos were great just normally used to a different type of cheese but in general the full service was great, servers were always checking on us and making sure we had all we needed. There were three guys playing music the whole time we were there. Maybe if they didn't have mikes and speakers it wouldn't have been so bad but they were so loud even my watch told me it was too loud and could cause damage. We complained but it did no good. When the my DIL spoke to the manager she said she couldn't do anything! Really!?!? I will never step foot in the Sahara location again. They don't like white customers. Waitress had an attitude, said they don't make Cadillac Margaritas. Carne Asada bland taste and was burned, charged $4.00 for 4 extra tortillas and $13.50 for a small guacamole. That's the price for the large one. I went to the restroom and on the way back asked the bartender if they carried Grand Marnier and he held it up. So, obviously they do have Cadillac Margaritas. This place is a complete dump. It's next to Palace Station, and I've wanted to try it for a long time. My girlfriend and I finally did, and it was the worst $40 I ever spent. We walked in, and it was extremely hot. I swear I heard a record screech as all of the "real mexicans" turned their head and gave us pochos the dirtiest looks. Against our best judgment, we stood there for five minutes until a lady finally took us to our table. There were flies, and the salsa looked recycled. She got a Carne asada burrito, and I ordered a shrimp cocktail There must have been a mix-up because her burrito was cold and my cocktail was hot. I asked for ketchup and was brought a red tube that seemed to have dishwater to try and water down whatever was stuck on the inside of the bottle to come out. We couldn't eat. The wait for the food didn't take too long. My friend ordered the lobster plate - it was a nice pile of mini, plump lobsters drenched in heavy butter and garlic. I had the desabrada tacos plate, it was good though I felt the shredded beef was a little tough. The carne asada tacos were just right and so was the quesadilla. Towards the end, there was a 4 man band that walked in and surprised the diners with some music. So awesome! The service was friendly and the food was good. The seafood has amazing flavor and it does not taste old. The flavors are amazing. Even the chips and salsa with beans were amazing started. I would say that deep frying the fish instead pan frying was unfortunate. I usually have it on the pan when it is this style of cooking.
