The tacos are amazing, but what keeps me coming back are the incredible aguas frescas--always refreshing and packed with flavor. They also have a huge selection of Mexican desserts and snacks that are hard to find elsewhere, so every visit feels like a little adventure. One of my favorite things is the mole enchiladas. They have a big TV playing while you eat, making it a great place to hang out, and the girls behind the counter are always so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely make you feel like family. The customer service is just as memorable as the food. Whether you're craving authentic tacos, a sweet treat, a refreshing drink, or just want to stock up on Mexican snacks, this spot has it all. It's one of those places that deserves way more attention. I'll definitely keep making the drive because it's 100% worth it!

The food itself was decent and okay portions for the price 3/5 Unfortunately this is where things got confusing because I saw the charges on my receipt and it was increased for my choice of meat instead of the original price posted. The only reason this bothered me was because they're literally the most basic meat options for the two items I ordered. Then I found their what appears to be cheaply ai menu of meat choices and no where does it mention the increase in price for certain meats. I also wanted to add beans to my torta and when I requested it they didnt say anything until after I sat down the cashier called me over to charge me for it. Of course I dont mind paying for the addition but I wish it couldve just been all paid at once. Not sure if I would return just because it's hard to know how much I'm paying if the prices arent reflected on the menu.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Our server, who is the owner's son, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain menu items we weren't familiar with and made excellent recommendations. Be sure to ask about the daily specials--you won't want to miss out on something unique! I started with a Café de Olla, and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I only remembered to take a picture after the cup was empty! After ordering, we were served a basket of tortilla chips with their house-made mole sauce and queso fresco. It was so flavorful and addictive that we could have happily eaten it all day. For our meal, we ordered the San Marqueña Tlayuda, which is large enough to share between two people. It was loaded with cecina enchilada (seasoned grilledpork), tasajo (cured jerky like beef), chorizo, eggs, and house-made Oaxaca cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor. We also tried the tamal preparado, and honestly, I barely let my husband have any because it was that good! Another standout was the Memela Sencillo (thick, oval-shaped corn masa), topped with the creamiest, most flavorful black beans, fresh house-made cheese, and handmade tortillas. Everything was made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the difference. The owner even came out to check on us personally and make sure we were enjoying our meal, which added such a warm and personal touch to the experience. We finished off our meal with a sweet drink called Tejate de Cacao. It is served cold over ice and you drink it from a bowl. It tastes like lightly toasted peanuts and refreshing watered down chocolate. Its called the drink of the gods. We can't wait to come back and work our way through more of the menu. Ely Restaurant Antojitos delivers delicious food, exceptional service, and a genuine family atmosphere. Highly recommended!
