We have been coming here for years. This spot is in rotation for sure. One of our Vegas go-to's. Long story short, food wasnt that great. I ordered agua chiles; and from my previous experiences coming here, they usually ask you hiw spicy you want to agua chiles. The server didnt ask this time. I also ordered ceviche de camaron. And long story long, both tasted sour AF. As if they used that fake lime juice to marinate the shrimp. Plus not spicy at all. I ordered an extra basket if chips. Chips and salsa are delicious for sure. Whenever we crave mariscos while in Vegas, this was our go-to spot. Wondering if there is new ownership or just an off day? Vegas Mexican food? Let's do it, coming from California I had to give it a shot. Got me 2 shrimp tacos and a Gobernador, along with rice and beans. The shrimp tacos had good flavors to them, overall nothing stood out that crazy but they weren't bad, especially with the green salsa. The Gobernador taco had too much cheese to be honest. It didn't really need all those bell peppers either, wasn't a big fan, the cheese overpowered everything. Coming from San Diego only 1 mile from the Mexican border I didn't expect much from this place. WOW i was wrong. First thing I would like to say is that we have been visiting this restaurant since 2021 and every visit has been in May after attending a 3 day music festival. This last visit we brought all of our friends with us and let me tell you I have some picky friends! Everybody in my group had something they could order and each and every one of them absolutely loved it! We always get agua chiles verdes and a molcajete! The shrimp was fresh and beautifully marinated and the molcajete was flavorful. We had the option to change the sauce and had it drowned in garlic instead of chile sauce and it was delicious! The micheladas there are also savory and spicy. I am always eager to order one! Every time we visit Las Vegas we're sure to come and visit this place. The ceviche was really citrusy and I always appreciate a good amount of lime in my ceviche. The service was great and our hostess constantly came to check with us.
