People need to be trained better. The girl repeated the order twice. My mistake of trusting them in what they're doing. I arrive home and I realize they forgot an order. Called them so they could reimburse my $ back to my card and the girl, Vanessa was very rude. She said I could return to the restaurant and get the order they forgot to give me. And that this was all they could do, in other words, I could just loose my $. Owners need to train their staff in better customer service and how to use their computer system. I have put this post off for so long. I thought maybe things would improve but the management seems to invent new ways to save overhead costs while we pay more for nothing. The staff is wonderful and I feel sorry that they must work under a very money hungry individual. I am a vegetarian and so I like to get veggie nachos and bean and cheese burritos. However every year they come in a slightly smaller container and they have the nerve to charge $8 now....for iceburg lettuce, obviously watered-down cheese sauce, sprinkle of onions, guacamole SAUCE, beans and a spoonful of tomatoes. There isn't a item that hasn't been increased in cost. With so MANY locations in the AV, they are no longer a small place but a chsin restaurant. Why such low quality and HIGH prices. YOU ARE NOT AN EL TOREO. Mark my words, they will start closing locations because they got greedy and thought that friends and family would pay any price to support their business. I would hate for the management to think these changes have gone unnoticed. On the bright side, the lines are getting ALOT shorter month after month.......wonder why? So being from the antelope valley for almost 17 years I know how the mi ranchitos has grown over the last few years, recently in the corse of about 3 months there burritos went from $5 bucks to $7.50 When you pull up to the drive through menu you can see (at night) 3-4 stickers on top of the prices. No wonder the drive thru was packed. Ordered inside and they are quick to fulfill orders. The order takers were fast and friendly. They understood English and the ordering process went smoothly. They offered me a sample of a purple drink that was tasty so I ordered that. I tried the carne asada taco and it was so good that it didn't need any sauce added. The corn tortilla was so fresh and tasty and the meat was well seasoned and cooked. I also had a bean and cheese burrito. It was the best I ever ate. A great value. Everything I had tasted very authentic to traditional Mexican home cooking. I wish this location had more tables and less noise for inside dining. If it did, my rating would be a 5. Carne asada burrito is love... My daughter always order the asada quesadilla. We get the one for the kids menu at all times 'cause it's much cheaper (entree + horchata drink). This Gringo's first time here. Been away for many years and been on a quest for good mexican food. Stopped in a few days ago and was pretty impressed. Had a carne asada burrito and was simple and tasted good. They ask if you want hot sauce in it so be prepared...it's hot! I'm cool with that, but if you are used to California Gringo hot, get salsa at the bar. Staff was great, food arrived quick, salsa bar was nice, loved the street tacos and beans and warm chips. I'm going to have to visit a few more times but this might be my new spot. Good job! read more

Mi ranchito's food is delicious! Coming from a mexican family i have high expectations but they definately do a good job! I try to order different things on the menu to try new things out. It is also very convenient because of the drive thru. The staff is always very nice. If you're looking for a good place to grab some tasty mexican food, this is it. The food (for the most part) is fresh. Once in a while you can tell its been there one too many days, but it rarely happens. They have a large variety to choose from and the price is reasonable. The wait times are not that long either. They have several locations throughout the Antelope Valley and out of all of them I prefer the one at Ave K and 20th. The one plus about this location is that is has a drive-thru and it comes in handy because its located in the not so nice part of Lancaster. HOWEVER (females be warned): If you go through the drive-thru in the evening, you'll be greeted by one of the local homeless persons from the area. They will ask you for money as you try to order. They seem to get more aggressive with women than with men if they're not given money. This happens quite often. When it was brought up to the staff they said they would leave soon, but they seem more committed than the employees. read more

If there was a possibility of giving 0 stars, that is what I would give! First of all I waited 22 minutes to receive my food. (This is fast food drive thru!!!) Second, I was charged twice. Apparently the machine froze up in the middle of my transaction. Because they weren't sure if it charged, they charged it again to make sure they got their money. Finally I got home, only to find out that 3 items were missing. Not to mention, my burrito had no onion or cilantro. I called the store to complain and they said there was no manager on site, therefore gave me the owners phone number named Angelica. I left 2 voicemails and she finally called me back hours later! I explained the above. She stated that the best she could do for me was return my money for the accidental 2nd charge, and refund me for the 3 items I was missing, but I had to go back to the restaurant in order for them to do it. So not only did I have to wait over 20 minutes, got charged double, and was missing food, they expect me to drive 20 minutes to get my money back for their mistake. I am so disappointed.
