Chicken fajita toppings

Food is fresh but some dishes are a bit flavorless. Friendly service but a bit slow at times. Really like that they have outdoor seating. Chicken quesadilla was good but chicken fajitas lacked any real flavor. The gem of the meal was the churros. They were delicious and served alongside a giant scoop of ice cream. Overall a decent experience but the food just didn't knock my socks off.

You'll get charged for chips and salsa

A shame, I got charged for chips and salsa and a coffee I never ordered, they added gratuity in my check which is funny cause I'm server ... never going back there it used to be one of my favorites spot

I hate to give this place a red flags but our first experience with them is really unpleasure. Their food is amazing, and margarita is not bad, but the service, ugh the service is not on point. Yes, we bring a group of 10 to the restaurant. I understand there is social distancing policy, but we are in the same party, CDC policy is allowing people in the same party seating together or close to each other. I'm okay we separated into two tables but why we can't move these two tables close to each other. At least close a little bit. They literally just separated us one group in the table and one group in the booths, where they still have empty tables around us... it kills the mood already. Second is their price on the bill is different than their menu. This is everyone need to be aware. We found out and showed her online menu price and our bill are different, she told us their system updated the price and raise $3 more but their online menu didn't, and there is nothing they can do about it. Wtf, is that mean we need to verify the price in your system each time while we order the food? No. Definitely no. I'm sad to give this place a no-go as there are so many restaurants around the town. I wish they could provide better service to this neighborhood.

Taco dorado

Passion fruit margarita was delicious and balanced. The cheese and squash Pupusa was fresh and hot. They are quite large and a great value. I also sampled a taco dorado which was also delicious. This place is a fabulous gem in the neighborhood! I sat at the bar and service was prompt and friendly. Loved the free chips and salsa while waiting.

Seems like a nice family hustling to make this place run and it shows. Great service and the food, while not completely authentic Mexican is very good. Extra star for not using the little plastic cups for salsa and such. Margaritas are big but nothing special. Good spot in cool location Orient Heights

They have a truly diverse menu. Convenient parking as well. The food is absolutely fantastic and bountiful. The staff very friendly and attentive. Ask for a dark margarita and you won't be disappointed.

I'd go to 3.5 stars if I could, while I've never had a bad enough experience to post a negative review I certainly have had inconsistent experiences here. From long delays likely kitchen related but poorly communicated by servers. To cold food. And mixed up orders, however their delicious margaritas, and cold beer usually help forget that by the end of the meal. Also they are open breakfast lunch and dinner, and late dinner at that! They can also accommodate crowds and parties. Usually they are true to form, loud music or a football game to watch as you eat/ drink. This is, in my opinion, the best Mexican choice within the 2 mile radius it occupies (and there are many options) We usually order heavy here, and I've eaten most items on the menu, (often I'm in a party of 5) They are a consistent choice for an uncomplicated dining experience.

We walked in without reservations and they were fully booked for the night, but they do have bar seating and a couple of side tables where you can grab a quick bite from the full menu. The ambiance is a 10/10. The decor is insane in the best way. The red chandeliers are stunning, the bar setup is perfection, and the low lighting with the table centerpieces really ties everything together. Even the bathrooms were insanely beautiful which is crazy to say but it stood out. It's rare to find restrooms that are that clean and well-designed. The drinks were great. I can't remember the name of the cocktail I got, but it had red sugar on the rim and it perfectly matched the whole aesthetic of the restaurant. For food, I got the steak taco and the fish taco and both were delicious. We were just stopping by for a quick bite before heading to the movies , but I really wish we could have stayed for a full meal because everything was amazing. Hopefully we'll get the chance to come back again one day.

I had been craving fish tacos for a really long time, and I was delighted to find a whole section of the menu dedicated to them. We started off with margaritas - one of the best companions to fish tacos - and I ordered mine spicy with jalapeño. For food, we shared the lobster empanadas and chorizo and potato taquitos. I ordered the tempura fish tacos for myself. Our margaritas were brought out shortly - mine was refreshing but lacked the kick from the jalapeño that I was hoping for (there was only one thin slice of pepper). Our food was brought out shortly, and I found it a bit overwhelming when our appetizers and tacos came out together. I started with my tacos, and these were excellent. The fish was flaky and fried to perfection, and I loved the rainbow of sauces and toppings. Plus, the tortillas were nice and sturdy and didn't tear. The lobster empanadas were super decadent, and I appreciated the substantial amount of lobster stuffed inside. I was too full to eat much of the taquitos but took a few bites. These also had good flavor but weren't standouts. Next time, I'd just get the tacos and maybe a light app. Towards the end of our visit, the restaurant seemed to clear out, and we had a difficult time trying to locate our server for the bill. Overall, we had a nice meal and satisfied the fish taco craving.

The Seaport space is just as stunning--decked out in pink, super aesthetic, and definitely a fun, photo-worthy vibe. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. For drinks, I ordered a pitcher margarita with jalapeño, and it was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and came across more like artificial jalapeño flavoring rather than real infusion--and it wasn't spicy at all. For food, we ordered a variety of small plates to share. Everything was decent, but nothing really stood out. It felt a bit underwhelming compared to the atmosphere. The biggest issue was the service. It was very slow throughout the night, and getting the check was especially frustrating--it took about 30 minutes, and we had to ask multiple times before finally receiving it. Overall, the ambiance is beautiful and perfect for a celebration, but the drinks and service didn't match the vibe. Hoping this was just an off night.

Now a lot of the places off Newbury are tourist traps, but this one? Definitely a local favourite! Pro tip: always make reservations. This place books up fast! The service is very nice and fast, always checking in on you. Love it. Now the food. Everything is shareable tapas style. Don't be uncultured and get your own, order to share. Patatas bravas is the elite tapas. A classic, so always order it. The steak tacos with the different salsa is another superb option. Not pictured is the bone marrow tacos I got, so delicious I forgot to take a photo. Grilled octopus was also very savoury. We threw in a beet carpaccio to have some vegetables to balance the protein. It is a cute spot, but just a heads up that the entrance is a little hard to find- I thought I had walked in through the back door. The restaurant is actually located in the public alley, not directly on Gloucester Street. The food was really good. I am obsessed with their rice and beans. Everyone seemed to love what they ordered! However, Im taking away two stars because of our service and our waitress. When we sat down, she casually asked, "Can I get you started with chips and guac?" At pretty much every Mexican restaurant I have ever been to, that phrasing implies it is complimentary. At no point did she mention that the guac was an added charge. We later found out we were charged $16 per guac, yes because she brought over TWO (!!) which totaled over $30, which felt really misleading. If something is meant to be an appetizer you are paying for, I expect it to be framed as, "Would you like to order any appetizers?" not presented as a default and free starter. That part left a sour taste in my mouth. I would consider coming back for the food, but I would be much more cautious ordering anything they recommend.
