    Pescado Frito & Maracuya

Pescado frito, or fried fish, is always a winning choice. The flavor of the fish is incredible, and paired with rice and onions, it's straight fire. It's one of those meals I'm always happy to eat. Don't forget to add some ají verde to take that flavor to another level.

My family and I have been coming here for a while and we have always loved the food and service. The Leche de tigre is also a great option, we will continue to come here.

Aji De Gallina hard to find a good tasting ají, this is the best I've had.

I use to live near here and was a frequent customer but now I live in Arizona and this was my first stop back. Food is always amazing and hard to find great tasting Peruvian and ají sauce. Services was excellent. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

I went here on a date friday night, I picked this place because I was craving Lomo saltado and it was the best I had in the past. So the name has changed, I haven't been here in about six months and I am assuming it is under a new management. The food was still excellent but I did deduct a star because there was only a few pieces of steak on my plate and before the meat ratio to fries and rice was much more generous and fair. Also, they do not serve the hot bread with butter before your main course anymore, I had to ask for it and was given one small cut off piece of what seemed like french bread, not the tasty rolls they used to serve. Nonetheless, the marinade on this plate remains the most flavorful and top tier I have ever tried and I will be back soon. The prices have gone up slightly but it was not an issue because the gentleman I was with paid for everything and told me to enjoy and get whatever I wanted. They ran out of inca soda in a can but again, not a dealbreaker. The waitress working that evening made sure we had everything we needed, she seated us promptly. She was polite, efficient, and friendly. This is forever my spot for delicious and fresh peruvian food.

Hands down the BEST Lomo Saltado I've ever had I've tried Lomo Saltado from at least 30 different places over the years, and Mi Patria left me speechless. From the first bite, I knew I found the one. The beef was juicy and tender, the onions and tomatoes were perfectly cooked, and those golden fries? Soaked up every drop of that rich, savory sauce like they knew they had a job to do. But the real showstopper? That green sauce. Spicy, bold, and exactly what it should be. Not watered down, not shy -- it's got real heat and real flavor. It ties the whole meal together like a perfect final note. Mi Patria isn't just good -- it's unforgettable. If you know Peruvian food, you'll taste the love and authenticity right away. And if you don't? This is where you start.

Welp, just had this for dinner last night and I was first stunned by the price increased for just a plate of Lomo Saltado. I used to pay around $19 and I was charged 24.92. No drink just the plate! The rice also tasted old and was hard. I didn't really enjoyed it. I'll most likely not return and just grab my craving elsewhere.

PROS: - The Lomo Saltado was BOMB. - The prices appear to be cheaper than the regular Peruvian place I used to go to. - The portions were very generous. I was definitely full after my meal. - The GREEN SAUCE was the boss! It was very flavorful, but not too spicy. - Not sure if those other reviews about getting a little bit of meat was just a fluke, but my Lomo had a ton of meat. I also liked that they put a lot of onions as well. - The lady that prepared my order was very friendly. CONS: - None. FINAL THOUGHTS: My wife and I have found our new Peruvian cuisine spot! We will be back.

It was a hole in the wall and had relatively good reviews for lomo saltado so I had my hopes up thinking the food would be amazing. My chief complaint is that it took almost 30 minutes for my single order to come out because the kitchen was busy prioritizing to-go/delivery orders. Had I known this, I wouldn't have eaten inside the restaurant; I would've actually gotten it delivered. My next complaint is that no receipt was given as customer copy, and no itemized receipt when asking for tip. The total for this dish came out to almost $30 including tip, and the waitress/cashier didn't mention the lunch special at all. I brought it up to ask about it after I paid, to which she replied, "Oh, you probably don't want that cuz it's smaller. But it comes with a drink and soup." The fact that she assumed I wouldn't want the lunch special (when I'm there at lunch time) that would've been a much better deal at $17.99 and perfect portion size for me, and yet charged me for the regular dinner price was a bit presumptuous. It's also weird that they would ask for a tip (which I gave anyway) before I even received my meal. It's less about the price but the principle! But I was just hungry and needed to go to my next appointment, so I didn't argue, but again, the food took way too long to come out so I had to ask her about it after the 25 minute mark. Food came out after 30 minutes, and I had to get up and ask for the aji verde sauce when most restaurants usually serve it to you with the meal. The aji verde sauce which is really important to me to complement this dish, unfortunately missed the mark as well. I really missed Sol Inka's aji verde sauce that's well-rounded in every way. Lomo saltado should be balanced between the meat, tomatoes, onions, and fries, but it was definitely heavy on the fries with only two pieces of tomatoes. I would've preferred more meat too if it's the regular plate, but it felt like a fries dump. I wouldn't have had complaints if this were the lunch special order. Anyways, if you don't mind the headache & having to be extra proactive to get what you want, this is the place to be, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. $30 for a sub-par lomo saltado where well over half of it is fries does not sit well with me, considering I waited 30 minutes for my meal. Unfortunately, I'd just have to stick to Sol Inka for my regular Peruvian food fix, as the flavor is more robust there anyways. Oh, and Sol Inka also gives complimentary warm bread and butter, while there isn't anything like that here.

It's a good sized place with plenty of tables for everyone. The decor was alpaca which was super cute! The tables had real cloth on them (sadly a little stained) but really a nice touch. Our server was super nice and answered our questions. I went with friends & we got the lomo saltado - two beef, one chicken - one fried fish with seafood sauce, ceviche mixto, and the cajeta cookies. Everything was AMAZING and a good portion size. Ive only ever had mexican ceviche but this was incredible!! Cant wait to have more. Very limey and fresh. Blue and white interior with plants and pictures of Peru landmarks gave off coastal vibes. Our server Lupe was chill and made us feel welcome. The saltados ratio of tomatoes, onions, and rice were minimal to the sauce, and it was salty. The menu is misleading, there are grammatical errors and mistranslation for one of the items, Tallarín Verde Con Camarón. I ordered this reading the description, saying it was "green noodles with spinach pesto and breaded squid," when its actually shrimp with spinach pesto noodles. Prices are a little high for small portions of food they plate. For example, the 8-piece Yucca Frita fries as an appetizer for $8.99 is practically saying each piece is $1. Overall, I give this spot a 3 out of 5 stars because the food was ok and prices were a little high for what they offered.

I would describe this place as that saying "Jack of all trades, master of none". I came with a group and we all ordered a variety of dishes, yet nothing stuck out. For a small space they have 1 waitress who needs better skills, she may be new. I say this because even as she brought out dishes she brought things out in pieces (got my shrimp cocktail, then had to ask for crackers, then had to ask for lemon, then had to ask for salt and pepper). Some points for the food: Talllarin - chicken was dry, pasta good Bandeja paisa - 7/10 arepa dry, no beef or beans Shrimp cocktail - very little shrimp, little to no juice, like a salsa mix in the cocktail Gyoza - good can't mess that up Lomo - eh fries came warm not hot, doesn't look like a traditional sauce The good things about this place: Good little green salsa and they served a good chicha de mora. Would I come back? No. You can definitely find better quality food and cheaper prices at a regular 1 cuisine restaurant. I would like to add presentation was nice on the food but nothing tasted quite right...
