    Grilled chicken sandwich

Got carryout from MI Mosa tonight for the first time. Had there grilled chicken sandwich, it comes with fresh mozzarella, and a garlic mayo which was the star of the show. They also served it with homemade chips, usually I love when a restaurant does this but I wasn't impressed this time. Maybe they weren't fresh, who knows?! Had high hopes for this place, will try again but going in person so I can give a fair rating if it's better. 3.5 stars

After being recommended this place by several people, I decided to give it a try. On Sundays they do not do reservations, but I was able to get a table right away. The place is nicely sized with a decent size bar area and beautiful artwork on the wall. I was with a party of six and our waitress was very attentive and very nice. My friends and I ordered several things but the burger was my favorite. The mimosa flight was a great way to try the many different flavors of mimosas they have. I have already have plans on the returning again with my parents so they can try this amazing restaurant.

A friend and I went here today after finishing our school year and it was a great way to celebrate. We shared a mimosa flight, I had the pancakes and potatoes, and she had the monte cristo. The food was all really well done! The potatoes had the perfect amount of rosemary. Our server was a little slow to check on us, but we weren't really in a hurry. We sat outside and it was super cute with the flower wall, cute signs, and the plants. I'm surprised the reviews for this place aren't better, we loved our visit!

Nice brunch spot I found in Farmington Hills. Food and service was good. Had the Banana Foster French Toast, Salmon Bites (a little too salty) and Breakfast Potatoes.

Came here for a quick brunch. Place is ALWAYS packed but luckily my party of one was able to snag the last seat at the bar. I love a food eggs Benedict and the short rib Benedict caught my eye. I think this was probably the BEST eggs Benedict I've EVER had! It was so flavorful, the short rib was abundant and delicious...I ate it ALL and am still dreaming about it to this day. Had a peach mimosa to go with my meal and it was delicious.

Food was amazing! I went with some friends and we got the mimosa pitchers for the table and it was perfect, enough for 6 glasses. Loved the amount of flavor options for the mimosas. The reason I didn't rate it five stars was because we waited for 30 minutes like we were told and then they kept pushing back our time until we waited for longer than hour. I really don't mind a wait time - it's brunch, it's always busy. But whenever they tell me it's going to take 30 minutes, it would be nice if it wasn't double that time. Would definitely go again.

Love the atmosphere in this place. It is very cute inside and outside. We sat outside for the first time. It was nice. We had the Tuesday $2 taco special, Avocado taco and spicy shrimp taco. The berry French toast and the Mi omelet. Along with a flight of Mimosa; the blushing, lemon zest, lavender glitter and pomegranate mimosas. The servers and hostess were very nice and fast seating us. It took some time for food to come out but we were enjoying the weather outside.

    Omelettes, french toast, and waffles!

The bar atmosphere is great and I look forward to summer when they can open up the doors and we can spread out a little bit more. From Retro Bliss to Corporate Miss - 1Up's New Management Hits Rock Bottom…read more.. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. 1Up Arcade Bar, once my go-to haven for arcade nostalgia and friendly vibes, has devolved into a shell of its former self. Under the new management, the experience has gone from retro joy to something resembling a garish corporate money pit. If you're looking to relive the good old days of arcade glory, consider this your neon-lit warning sign to stay far, far away. First off, the bartenders. Remember last year when 1Up's bartenders were warm, cheerful, and chatty, making you feel like you were part of the family? Well, those days are deader than my high score on Pac-Man. The new bartenders treat you with the exact enthusiasm you'd expect from someone waiting at the DMV. Ordering a drink here feels like you've personally interrupted their day--and heaven forbid you ask any questions about the menu. Smiles? Gone. Friendly banter? Vanished. You're left standing there with your overpriced, uninspired drink wondering if you've wandered into a soulless high-end cocktail bar by mistake. Ah, the drinks. Once playful and creative masterpieces that added to 1Up's charm, they've been replaced with pretentious, unimaginative concoctions that scream, "We're fancy now; please empty your wallet." No fun, no spirit (pun intended), just overpriced disappointments. At their current price point, I half expected the drink to come with complimentary resentment from the staff. And don't get me started on the arcade machines. Gone are the iconic retro classics that made me feel like I'd stepped back into the golden age of arcades. Instead, the place is now stuffed with bright, flashy, wallet-draining horrors you'd find at a Dave and Buster's. What happened to the charm? The authenticity? Now it's just a playground for toddlers with no attention spans and those who value flashing lights over actual gameplay. Speaking of, if you're a Gen Z-er armed with your parents' credit card and an inability to go three seconds without dopamine overload, this place might actually be a dream come true for you. The rest of us? Not so much. Look, 1Up Arcade Bar used to be a gem, but now it feels like a soulless cash grab. Don't come here hoping for a genuine arcade bar experience because you'll leave disappointed--and poorer. Save your time, save your money, and spare yourself the heartbreak of seeing what this place has become. RIP, old 1Up. You are sorely missed.

The music was actually so loud it was hard to catch up with my friend. I wasn't aware of how cozy the spot was. We weren't allowed to sit next to each other (understandably so, the seats are designed for two/four people to sit across from each other like normal) so that made it easiest to just quiet up and listen to the music. I have no problem with that, the singer was great! The waitress was kind for even checking with the manager to see if we could adjust the seating arrangement. I had to ask lol I had the fried salmon bites, very salty but good flavor. Oh, and one of the two bathroom stalls wouldn't close but luckily girl code helped us stay secure! This spot is a hidden gem especially for those who appreciate a very intimate live music performance, when they have it. I'd like to try more of the food.

I arrived early to sample their Happy Hour where I got a Tommy Margarita which was one of four cocktail choices on the Happy Hour menu where the other choices are an Old Fashion, Lemon Drop Martini and a Black Manhattan. All of which I personally am a fan of. Relative to my Margarita, it was very well made with 2 full ounces of Blanco Tequila as the base and quite tasty. Definately a drink with a kick and not a watered down version you get at most other bars in the area. At $8 it's a pretty good deal in my opinion especially for a drink of this quality. Relative to Dinner my wife got the White Fish dinner and I got the Milanese Chicken. Both dishes were excellent where they were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Prices on the menu were a tad high in my opinion but the old adage that you get what you pay for applies here and is definately worth the cost in my opinion. Appetizer was the Calamari which was well made and quite tasty in its own right. Relative to staff and facility, the facility is very classy with a nice contemporary flair to it, Definately an upscale feel to it where both the bar and the dining area offer an elevated dining/drinking experience. Staff was super friendly with great follow up where the bar can be a tad slower as only one bartender was working while I was there but he did a fairly good job of keeping up with the orders and high marks for his efficiency. Overall a great classy restaurant with a nice Happy Hour makes this a destination restaurant worth the trip if you live outside this area. For discerning customers who prize Quality in what they eat and drink this is a business not to be missed!
