Saw the reviews and said " we need to try this place " , and let me tell you , it did not disappoint! Quick , friendly service . Free chips and salsa . The meals are enough to share . I had a lot of leftovers . Cute little restaurant, they have an outside patio area as well ! I highly recommend this restaurant to eat . Price point very decent as well !

Came here on Saturday afternoon around 3pm and it was packed! We got the last table! Service was great. The food incredible! We are from South Texas and are spoiled with good Mexican food. The carne asada quesadilla was one of the best I've had. The shredded beef flautas were amazing also. Michelada and Margarita were great also! Highly recommend!!

After a full day of hiking, we rolled back into Ouray absolutely starving and landed at Mi Mexico around 4:30 pm. We were seated right away and immediately brought chips and salsa. Both were solid--the salsa had a nice little kick to it. We ordered a chimichanga and an à la carte taco, and the food came out in just a few minutes--super fast service, which we appreciated after such a long day. Everything was tasty enough, but I wouldn't really call what I got a chimichanga. It was more like a burrito--meat wrapped in a flour tortilla and topped with sauce. Where I'm from, chimichangas are deep-fried. Still, the flavors were good, and it definitely hit the spot. Overall, Mi Mexico wasn't the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it was quick, filling, and convenient. With a big menu and a location just a block off Main Street, it's a decent option if you're in Ouray and craving Mexican food.

The carne asada had me at hello…read more Seriously, all it took was one bite and my mouth was in food heaven! It was so tender, flavorful and perfectly marinated! Pour on a little salsa and boom! So here's what went down...I was throwing a bday bash at my house and wanted a taco truck/trailer that catered. Spotted El Agave Azul's food trailer in Montrose, so tried them out and it was a done deal! Since their flagship restaurant was in Ridgway, we decided to drive out and grab some lunch so we could personally meet the owners. Again the food was super good, flavorful and delish...not to mention the fresh and yummy margs! The owners, Jose and Lucia were an absolute pleasure to meet and work with for our party. They arrived early to set-up, were very professional, meticulous and took great care of our guests. We ordered street tacos (naturally the carne asada as well as grilled chicken), rice, refried beans, chips & salsa, and quesidillas. Everyone ranted and raved about the food and loved every bit of it...in fact there were very little leftovers which is always a good sign! ;-) I cannot say enough about El Agave Azul. Their food and catering services are top notch! Highly recommend for your next party or just head on over to their restaurant, and be sure to say "hi" to Jose and Lucia!

The Burrito and Carne Asada tacos were very good! The food is served on hot plates which is great, yet the food itself was only warm. Not hot. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a couple of entrees togo, for dinner later.

3.5 / 5 Stars -- Outstanding food, but cold counter-service hospitality…read more I recently tried Kami's Samis as part of my journey exploring the Colorado food scene, and the kitchen absolutely knows what it is doing. THE FOOD: The Traditional Breakfast was excellent. The standout element was the bacon--thick-cut, generous, and perfectly cooked. The eggs and potatoes were spot on, and the sourdough was great. I also ordered the kids' French toast sticks, which were made from a great "fat bread," dusted with powdered sugar, and served with 100% pure maple syrup. The cappuccino was also top-tier, with a perfect espresso pull and velvety foam. THE SERVICE & VIBE: While the food justifies the premium price tag ($30 for breakfast), the service infrastructure really lets this place down. You have to look at the menu, order at the counter, and pay/tip upfront before you even sit down. They blame "staff shortages" for why you have to get your own water and eat off paper plates with plastic forks, but for a $30 meal, the all-disposable setup feels cheap. The biggest issue is the hospitality. I wasn't greeted when I walked in because staff were talking to each other. The gentleman taking orders was a bit cold and dismissive. Worse, when I went back up to ask for a second container of maple syrup to finish my French toast, the girl at the counter was visibly annoyed and rude. She told me they would bring it out, but it never arrived. THE BOTTOM LINE: Prompting guests for a 15-20% tip before they even eat completely removes the staff's incentive to take care of you. Go here for the outstanding food, but lower your expectations for the service. Will I tell my friends about this place and go back? I sure will. I'll tell him about how good the food is and about how the service was and about the tipping.
